One of the best looking drives out there, USB 3.0, and good speed. I used this as add on to my Xbox One and it performs great.

Better than the previous passports, smaller and more compact. The drive is also quick.

I went with the WD both for price and dependability. Plug and play setup was great however, setting up the back up process takes a little figuring out. For the most part, it is user friendly.

Moved into studio apartment. CDs, over 1000+. I needed a simple way to save all of my favorite tunes, while freeing up physical space in my new place. Small in size, spacious in capacity. Surprisingly cool styling for such a practical piece of storage. Dig this Passport, sucker for the metal finish.

I bought this drive as redundant storage for another drive. Since I was just copying files and not using any of the backup software I can't vouch for the included software. I reformatted the drive for use on my Mac computer and did a full backup/copy of my existing files. The copy process went fast - although I didn't track the copy speed. All in all this seems like a nice little external drive for the price - happy enough that I bought another!

I simply plugged the WD drive in and waited for the driver to load and then did a drag and drop of the folders I wanted to back up. It was about 250 GB of data, mostly pictures, and it was done very quickly. I then connected the drive to my laptop and accessed the saved files to make sure the backup was usable and it was. Great little (literally) device.
