I was a little skeptic when purchasing this as a external drive for my Xbox one because the associate assisting knew nothing about it but got it home plugged it in few minutes later worked perfectly

Easy to use. Just plug in. No power up necessary. I had previously been using a drive that required plugging in to electricity before using. I just plug this one in directly to the computer.

Recommended by a friend, this was exactly what I needed to free up space on my computer. Not a techie, and had no idea what to buy or how much it should cost- but this little gadget turned out to be just what I needed. One caution, though- once you've transferred- don't leave it connected. It seemed to throw some kind of wrench into the works that made the computer less than cooperative. Once I unplugged it, it worked fine.

I've had external hard drives before, but this one seems to run more smoothly and flawlessly than the others. I plugged it in to the computer and moved all my data over with no problems.

I completely back up my laptop into this device and still have more room. The system that comes with it is also very useful for setting it to automatically back up on a schedule as well.

This drive has functioned perfectly and comes with some easy to use backup software. Sleek looking and does not take up much room at all.

Bought this for holding pictures during a recent trip. Worked well. Only detractor I had was that the metal finish was marked very easily. I carried it in its own pocket in a laptop bag and it showed surface abrasions from being carried only after a few days and one flight carry on.

The WD my passport has a very sleek design and is very user friendly. Has plenty of storage.

This is my fourth drive. I use one for each of my areas of interest or projects. Tons of memory, ease in portability, easy to label. Still, though, tempted by the new 4t Drives.

I bought this to back up my ITunes account (which is gigantic, and only growing larger), and it has performed as expected. I think I will be buying a second one in the near future.

I am so glad I bought the metallic version, it has a much better feel than the plastic casing, and it looks really elegant and fancy

I purchased this drive to store my MP4 movies on so I can access them via USB to my Roku 3 device. It holds a ton of movies. The metallic finish makes it look cool too.

1 TB of external memory. Not much to say to be honest. If you are looking for an external memory source that is physically small, quite, and works, look no further.

This external hard drive is very compact and I found the price to be very reasonable for 1 TB of space. I don't have many documents or pics to so 1 TB is more than enough space for me. I'm going to buy one for my teenaged son so he can transfer and store his DVD content. Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase.

I love the encryption capabilities and the small lightweight storing capacity. I use this for business, but I would definitely recommend as a personal use too.

This is one of the best external hard drive have ever had and it's great to be a kid because of to be dropping it won't damage anything I'd recommend it to anyone

This 1TB drive in the metal casing is my new backup and with a 3.0 USB connection I am done in a flash. Not the speed of flash memory, but not the price either.

Good transfer speeds. Lots of room and good back up software. Very portable.
