I wasn't sure at first but after taking it of the box and seeing how simple it was to hook up and use I was thrilled. My favorite thing is when I go other places I don't even have to take it out of my backpack. No more leaving it at friends place or better FWB. Sometimes it's hard to connect to get back due to busy schedules.

It works as advertised. I use it to access files on my iPad Pro. The price could be lower but it has surpassed expectations.

An absolute great purchase! Small enough to fit in my hand and it doesn’t get in the way! I love that I can buy/download as many PS4 games as my heart desires and it’ll be a long while before the space is filled up!

I love the wireless aspect easy to setup. U know what upsets me is all the negative comments this is the best drive I used. Charge pretty quick all way around this is great. Works with android or iOS and I have no problem with the wifi on the computer. Good luck with all of The negative feedback. I love it.

I purchased this specifically for travel when I don't take my laptop but need to back up my SD cards from my camera. The capacity is perfect, and as a USB drive it works perfectly, just as my other WD drives. However, in practical field use to backup SD cards, the interface is just flat out clunky. Took me forever to recall how to do it. I recently saw the Gnarbox demo'ed at an event, and despite it's much higher price tag, will probably upgrade to it in the near future.

I wanted a way to save GoPro video without carrying dozens of cards. This works great for that as well as getting video or pictures others take. Using the app on my iPad or phone helps you watch them on the road. I do notice buffering issues on 260fps videos. Also seemed to struggle connecting initially, kept saying password was not valid. Eventually got it to connect. Just took at trip and worked great.

I bought this to download the sd cards from my camera nightly while travelling - Without my laptop! Saves me luggage space and I have a chance to backup those cards as I go.
There are a lot of other features I don't expect to need soon, but might be nice to have someday.

I needed a backup solution for my SD cards while on an extended photography trip. This WD HD worked great. The added benefit was that I was able to review my photos on my iPad Pro and iPhone.

I purchased this device to use as a wireless media file server on long trips. I used the Plex server on several new Kindle Fire 8's. It worked pretty well once I was able to get the app started, but it was very finicky. The the kindle wouldn't detect the drive's Wi-Fi perhaps 25% of the time's restarting the kindle seemed to help, but didn't guarantee anything. This may have been on the kindle side, but I also had the issue with an older iPad. That said, this setup worked well overall and was great for our long road trip.

This was an answer after a long search for a device I could either download SD cards while on trips away from my Laptop, or download wirelessly from the camera. Now I don’t need to drag a computer while traveling or out shooting photos. Finally found the perfect tool!
