Works great paired with an Xbox One. Now we don't have to constantly delete things every time a new game or update comes out. Looks very good on top of my white Xbox, almost like an official device. My only issue is that the drive never powers off. Even in standby mode the console is still powering the drive and it is spinning. This will most likely lead to premature failure. As long as I get a few years out of it I'm satisfied for the price, though.

Works great and I'm glad they was able to streamline it to where it works with the USB to get power. My 4 TB Western digital drive is big and it has to be powered by plugging into an power outlet. So it's good to see that they have improved the technology to where you don't have to have it plugged into an external power source to use it. They also have a 5 TB drive that works the same.

Got this as an extra storage for my xbox-S. Note: for the newer next gen games you will need a SSD or the seagate expansion card to load games on there. For the older games from game pass or backwards compatibility its perfect tho to offload games onto this disk drive. It’s durable and big enough to not break or miss!

I'd recommend this or the passport drives from WD to anyone needing to expand their storage space for the xbox because lets face facts "1 tb internal hard drive" really means about 500gb. Decent speed, and no need for external power output like some of the larger drives that can be used (so no risk of it getting yanked over and ruined)

Got this to add much need storage space to our Xbox One S. Works absolutely perfect. Plugged in right away and was pretty much ready with minor effort.

I am completely satisfied with my purchase. Bought it to have more games saved and apparently they load faster than the Internal space on my 7 year old Xbox One. So far I have about 70 games with more than half being over 60GB+ and still have about 1TB of both Internal and External space combined. My download speeds were going over 90MB/s most of the time compared to 50MB/s on Internal. It feels somewhat durable as the sides are made of plastic but they are screwed on very tightly. I unplug it because it will keep running even after you turn off the console.

Had zero luck with other brands of externals including seagate which I tried a couple of. I resorted to this one which I got for cheaper than other brands and lots of storage. Had zero issues with it thus far. Worked from the moment I plugged it in and has yet to mess up from random resets or just unexpectedly unplugging it without warning. It has exceeded all of my expectations and let’s hope it stays that way. In my opinion, best external for the Xbox that I’ve tried. And I didn’t have to do any form of configuring with a computer either

This gave me the space I needed. All I had to do was plug in in and it was ready to use! Very easy to set up. The only negative I see about this is that I am unable to play a game directly from the drive. I probably would have chosen a different drive if I had known this before purchasing but I am still satisfied with my purchase.

I already have 5 games on it, all very large games and I still have a whole lot of memory left so I’m not worried about space anytime soon. Playing the games run just as smooth as if directly from your console and load times are quick and No lagging when online. It was sleek, comes with everything you need and worth every dollar. Would highly recommend!

Perfect to expand my storage for my series x for older games. In order to play optimized series x games they still have to be directly on the console but this makes it where I can have my older games and able to get rid of my old Xbox

My son wanted this for his Xbox. He brings it between my house and his mother's. The hard drive has a lot of space for games and physically is tough and durable.

Load times are quick and it stores all my xbox games that I mainly play. Always a plus to have extra storage that you know you can rely on. WD Black is by far the best brand out there.

Definitely one of the best purchases i’ve made for my xbox. Better quality, more space, and a better price than the more popular Seagate drive.
