    This is a great product, i have WD har drives for my computers and are very reliable, i recently install surveillance cameras (8) 720p and it can record almos 2 months on it, also very silent, this one the purple are buildfor this kind of record. Great price for a great product. A+++

    I bought this HDD to install in my Laview surveillance system after reading many reviews of the efficiency of 24X7 continuous read/writes of the purple drives from Western digital. It took about 20 mts to install and was real simple. The HDD itself is quite and so far so good.

    Excellent surveillance hard drive. 2TB is just enough space for my cctv dvr. I've had it for a few months and no problems. Do recommend for surveillance use.

    I BAUGHT THIS TO REPLACE MY HD ON MY SWAN SYSTEM,BUT IT DIDN'T LAST LONG. IT BURNED OUT AFTER 2 MONTHS.
