Increases cell service. Wires are a little cumbersome if you don’t run them behind trim panels.

Ever since my local service has been switching back to 4G nearly everywhere around me I have been frustrated. This booster definitely helps keep my phone on LTE and a little bit of signal boost is definitely there.

I bought this for my truck because I’m traveling all of the time. It works pretty good. Although locations to mount it aren’t that great. Not to sure it’s the devices fault though.

Really Works / Cables are Annoying

The WeBoost Drive really does work. I was very skeptical since cell phone coverage has come a long way since the early days in the 90s. I thought, is there really a need? Then I got to thinking about my daily trip into and out of my office. It's on the side of a hill and a parking garage provides a very annoying 5 minutes where I have very little signal. Certainly not enough to make use of data, sometimes not enough to get a text out and I would never try to make a call. After installing the WeBoost Drive, I instantly noticed that I could 1) use data like normal 2) send/receive text messages without issue and 3) Phone conversations could be had without a problem. I'm very pleased with the performance! It only increased the bars on my iPhone by 1, but as other reviewers and the documentation that accompany the booster say, you cannot rely on the signal bars on your phone to measure performance of the booster. Use the actual performance of your phone to measure it. Installation was much easier than I expected. I thought it might require drilling holes and pulling up carpet. Not at all that complicated. You basically find an appropriate place on your car/truck/suv, place the magnetic booster antenna, run the wire inside your vehicle and then snake it to the power source and cradle. I will say this, it isn't necessarily the most aesthetically pleasing thing having wires running through your vehicle, but you can make them fairly discrete by running under the carpet/mats. The installation guide that came with the WeBoost Drive was very easy to follow and gave specific tips for different types of vehicles. As others have noted, when connected, the booster does get hot. Not warm, but hot. No danger of starting any fires so don't panic, just be prepared. It's like the underside of your laptop when you've been doing some serious graphics. Everything with the WeBoost Drive feels very well made and of high quality. It's not designed to be a permanent fixture on your vehicle so you'll want to take it off before going into a car wash or driving through any tornadoes. In conclusion, I think the WeBoost Drive is an excellent solution to a very big problem for some. It was an annoyance for me to be left without much usable service immediately after work when you want to let everyone know you are free and coordinate plans. For those who live in low signal areas and spend a lot of time there, it could be more than just an annoyance and more of a critical need. The WeBoost Drive should help you out quite a lot. Remember, the booster needs something to boost so if you are in an actual black hole for your cell phone carrier, it's not going to work. If it's simply a very poor service area, you should get some good use. The only thing I didn't like is that the wires running from the inside to the outside are just unsightly (in my opinion). I wish there was a solution that could sit on your dash and then wirelessly transmit a booster signal to your phone without the need for wires running everywhere. To be clear, the boosted signal is wireless, it's just the antenna that picks up the signal to boost is then transmitted back to the cradle for wireless transmission. I'd be very happy if were just one node all built into one. Sit it on your dash and enjoy. But that isn't the case and as I said, it does work so that's the whole purpose. In fact, you probably could place the antenna somewhere in your car which would minimize the wires. I didn't try this so just thinking out loud. Either way, I'd highly recommend if you want/need to improve your cell reception. Pros: -Build quality -Performance -Cost (I found it to be a very reasonable price for the performance gained) -Flexibility (works with any cell carrier) Cons: -Too many wires/unsightly (for me at least) -Adapter and booster can run hot when in use

This was a great purchase, you get an additional 2-3 bars of service where you would normally get no service. Works with Verizon and AT&T. Tested both.

I got this because i mow roadsides out in remote areas in a tractor where cell service is sketchy or nonexistant. I can get service in some places with it that i cant without it. And not just “fake bars”. I can get actual data use. It has came in very handy when iv had a breakdown to be able to call the mechanics

I travel for work and this has been a life saver for keeping signal on the road. Many places (in the mountains) that I normally wouldn't get signal, I will at least get 1-2 bars with this now so if I'm on a call, I don't have to worry about it dropping.

it does boost signal a little, it still does not work as previous boosters I have used. The mounting process is easy other than the excess of wire provided. My biggest complaint is the magnetic mount that holds the base. it falls off frequently with the weight of the phone in it when i hit pot holes and I will most likely glue it to fix the issue.

Nothing is worse than sitting in your own driveway and you can't even make a call, now I can. Out and about a I have noticed an increase in my reception overall. I regularly travel in rural Michigan and the service is pretty sketchy. Since using this booster I have fewer dropped calls if any and many are more clear than before. Installation was very easy and the directions have pictures... The chord from the cradle was a bit short for where I wanted to mount it but I worked around that. The cradle on the other hand isn't the greatest. My version of the cradle is vertically spring loaded, not convenient to get in and out. The other problem is my fingerprint reader (Pixel XL) is on the back of the phone so when it locks I have to remove it and unlock it then put it back, not an easy feat when driving. Turning off your auto lock feature solves the problem but then leaves your phone vulnerable. The cradle also has a vent mount that doesn't allow much articulation of the cradle and depending on your vehicle you are at the mercy of the position and height of your vent. I would recommend semi-permanently mounting to the dash area as I have. I would recommend watching the video on the BB web site so you know how it works and how to test it by putting your phone in field test mode. From what I have seen their customer service is top notch although I didn't have to use them because the directions are excellent and the video answered all my questions. All things considered the $180.00 investment is a good decision however I would upgrade to the other versions to avoid the cradle.

While traveling from Wyoming to Texas this month, I frequently used the weboost to acquire more reception bars on my AT&T phone. Note: If you have NO reception, the weboost cannot help. You must have at least one bar for improvement.

This works awesome in vehicle. I go through mountain tunnels as long as 2 miles and where I only had signal on the ends I now have it all the way through unbroken. In rural areas where it was sad I now have 3+ bars.
