I was anxious to try this out, as I have family living in some "not so well covered" areas of the country, and wanted to see if this could really boost my phone signal well enough so that I could 1) hear and 2) not have the call dropped.
The answer, fortunately, is yes to both counts. I purposely used this in areas that I know are typically trouble spots and I could hear, and didn't suffer a single dropped call...until I got to an area with no coverage. Unfortunately there's nothing the weboost can do about areas with no coverage at all, which is to totally be expected.
I'm not going to lie and say I'm absolutely sure it was due to this product that the signal seemed better (It still showed as the same '1 bar' on my phone display) but my calls were clearer and weren't lost, so there's that. I've only had it a month and only attempted to use it in remote areas a couple of times now, so more testing is required, but so far so good.
It does get a little warm, I've noticed, and the plugs can be a little awkward, though this is just as much due to needing to have 50 things plugged in in my car anymore as it is an issue with this product. That's the nature of the times we live in I suppose.
If you want to try something like this before getting frustrated and switching carriers this is probably the cheapest product you'll find that does the trick.

Great for travelers and rental cars

Great timing to get this thing -- I received it right before traveling for vacation, so I got to use it in different cars in different states.
With that said -- this is great for travelers. It sets up easily, requires no modifications, and leaves no marks. The phone holder mounts to an air vent and holds the phone pretty well with a bit of positioning possible. The mount would be annoying if if were to be used as a permanent fixture in a single car because it isn't really rigid, and there's a limit to the viewing angles.
I'd suggest that they added a couple of things to make it even better for travelers; a carrying bag or case, and an AC adapter so you can use it in your hotel room.
It comes with a generous amount of cable, so I had no problems with reach. It also comes with velcro cable ties, so you can make the excess coils of cable nice and neat. Lots of great details in the design -- the amplifier module has hook velcro on it so it sticks to floor mats, and the antenna has a clever way to route the cable so that it comes out at the correct angle in relation to how you route the cable into your car.
As for functionality -- I didn't do exhaustive tests on how it improves signal -- the AC adapter would have really helped there! But I did notice my phone jumped from 1-2 bars to 4-5 bars in a fairly remote area. It looks really promising.

Honestly, I did not expect much from this cell booster. I have tried other brands, none of which handled the dead spots I had on the way to work. The best PRO i can give this... No more dead spots.
Honestly, I am amazed. Not just that I have service, but I have full bars. Only once have I seen it drop below 4 bars.
What more can be said other than it works?
A few things to consider, also why I did drop a star:
You have to mount the antenna away from other antennas. If you have satellite radio and a sun roof, there is no place to mount on the roof of your sedan.
The mount can pinch you really good, the springs are very strong. WATCH YOUR FINGERS!!! It is hard to use your phone with bandaged digits.
If I could, I would have given this 4 1/2 stars.

I like to travel on the weekends after a hard week of work. I usually travel within my state, no more than 200 miles from the city (los angeles). When i usually travel, i lose signal often in the deserts (traveling to palm springs, when i pass the los angeles forest, etc), so i cannot use the 4G or barely have a 3G signal on my Samsung S7, as a result i cannot use my spotify, or make out going calls (very distorted calls or drop calls). I think it has to do with my cell phone provider as well, "Virgin Mobile" which is a part of the spring network.
After installing this into my car, which didn't take long, i just put the antenna outside my car, plugged in the necessary cables, and put the cell holder on the dashboard; in front of me and boom i was done.
Over the long labor day weekend i took a trip to Kern County, then San Jose, and i notice my signal was a little better. It didn't performed magic to say, but it did improve my signal by 2 bars, so if i had a 3G signal in some parts i would now have a low 4G signal and in some parts where there was no signal i would have a 3G signal, which is important to me in case i ever need roadside assistance.
I did notice the mounting bracket gets a little hot after being used for a while, which is no big deal since i have the AC on (placed bracket on dashboard). It works as advertised! It definitely improved my signal but not by that much as i originally thought, but being my first "signal booster" i think it did a good job.
I later let my co worker borrow it for his camping trip, when he came back he was happy with the results as well. He has an older model iphone with Virgin Mobile as well. He thought it was a good item to carry for those long trips (he likes road trips with the family) that he decided to purchase one too. He thought the price was reasonable as well compared to other higher end boosters.
This will be one of my go to items for future road trips and price is just right. I just don't like that it gets hot. I also don't use it all the time, just for long road trips. I hope my review helps.

I was super excited about this because I work in an area that has poor signal due to strong radio blocking the signal. I can drive about 100 yards away and the signal is back to normal. But I was hoping this would solve my problems. Unfortunately it doesn't help at all for this situation. The base radios are just too strong I guess.
It works great otherwise. I had significant gains under normal conditions and having Bluetooth in my truck made it all easier. I had a existing magnet mount for my phone on the dash and used that instead of the horrible vent mount supplied. That thing is worthless. The mount has a strong clamp and can pinch your fingers if you're not careful. I learned sliding the phone out to the side worked best for me.
I wish the antenna could be wireless so there wasn't a stupid antenna wire running across the roof of my truck. It's white and stands out bad.
I went out to my folks place, they live in a canyon out in the sticks with zero service but I was able to get one bar with this setup.
So minus the lame vent mount and the wires I love it and it does what it says it does.

Very little boost if any at all. I work pipeline and need a really good signal booster and this isn't it. At best, when I do see a boost it is only one bar. Not enough to do anything with. Wish I wouldn't have wasted my money and time installing it.

Bought this because I saw good reviews but found out it doesn't work with Sprint technology - Code 25. I received no increased signal strength and their Tech Support told me thats because they don't boost Sprint. Bummer.

Wow I can not tell you the last week and a half I had with this thing. I'm just going to get the cons out of the way now. The WeBoost is a pain in the butt to set this up in the car. The instructions are somewhat clear but the time it takes to install and troubleshoot will frustrate you to no end. I gave up about 3 days in and just paid someone to install it without issues and honestly you might as well let best buy install this for you if you going to buy this.
Now that I got that out of the way I'm going to let you know that once installed this has GREATLY boost my 4G LTE coverage while driving. I had the whole family use their phones while driving (DODGE CHARGER SE 2015) with T-Mobile network. My iPhone 6s Plus boost signal with always having full bars, Wife's iPhone 7 Plus also had full bars, and the kid's Samsung Galaxy S7 stayed strong. I was surprised how well it worked out at lease for T-Mobile. It also worked in areas around the neighborhood that was a very week signal like our local park. I have to say it was worth it in the end if you always need it from your network. You don't need a network to set this up or there isn't any monthly fees which is a relief.
Once you get pass the setup process this device is amazing and would always recommend something like this to a friend if they have the patience. It does what it advertise to do and those features so far works out well.

antenna will not adhere to our vehicle as our truck is made with aluminum. they recommended we mount a metal plate to our vehicle in order for the antenna to stick and conduct signal.
