If it is free and does the job then it is a good deal. But it is kind of like elephant repellant. It hasn't caught any viruses but I don't know if it is good at detecting or I am just careful and don't encounter any.

I brought my computer in for service it was acting slow and lost some of it's function. The Geek Squad person i dealt with checked the computer out while i waited then made some suggestions including adding the WebRoot Anti Virus software, i was given the total price up front and was told that the repair could take up to three days depending on how much they had to do this was at 11:00 am on December 19th. I received emails throughout the day updating me on the progress of my computer, at approximately 6:15 pm I received a phone call from the Geek Squad telling me that my computer was done and ready for pick up. I added WebRoot to my Wife's Lap top also, I very happy with it. The computer is working like new again. Thank you Geek Squad

So far I am happy with this internet security. I haven't had any issues and it has prompted me to run a scan for viruses. It works quickly.

We root has been able to protect my laptop fairly well amd if I did have a issue it was able to be helped by the geek Squad. I run my Weroot every 2 days and it is also on a continual scan. Notifies if an issue!

The Webroot software protection I purchased from Best Buy has been great so far! It gives me peace of mind to know that my computer is protected from viruses or malware that could be detrimental to my computer.

Have always been a Norton-guy, but decided to try Webroot Security Plus. So far, very pleased! No problems and seems to give me the level of protection I expect. I will update this review if anything changes.

I like how this antivirus software doesn't interfere with my other applications. Nice and tight without slowing down my other apps.

Webroot was easy to install. I did not do it until two weeks after purchasing. Just a little disappointed that it was activated the day of purchase. So caveat would be to install it asap to get full year.

Purchased this with the Geek Squad service. Best investment! Never have to worry about repairs or security. I would recommend this to everyone. Especially for those with tech challenges or beginners.

You have to work the settings for a while to get it where you want it as far as the firewall strength. Everything was getting blocked that I couldn't even access my own bank accounts since Webroot was saying the sites were potentially harmful and presented a virus. These were major banks and I had used these sites for decades. Can be frustrating till you figure out how to get it to stop. Would still prefer Norton over any other, but this was included with the laptop I purchased for a year.
