I questioned whether or not these would work to relieve pain and the definitive answer is yes they do! Great with just the laser, vibrates and pulsates as well. Absolutely alleviates pain. The only caveat is that there is a "sticky patch" that you need to apply before using (you get 40 when you purchase). The sticky pads only last for about 2 uses, then you have to figure out where to buy more -which I have not yet.

Amazing! One of my friend recommended this to me and I am glad that I listened to her. I've been suffering chronic back and wrist pain for a long time and spent crazy amount of money trying to treat.
This little thing is so small and I first doubted what it could do. It does not do miraculous things like removing pain instantly. But it does reduce the pain level and I expect it to continue working on my pain. My wrists especially feels a lot better since I started using iaso.
My recommendation, though, is to buy the 4 pod package if you want to use it for your back. While it works, it is small, about 2 inches in diameter, and you will want to have at least 4 to cover your back.
Overall, happy with the purchase and highly recommend!

Absolutely love these! I have knee arthritis and needed something that I can use during my workout. I am old and I don't do extreme workouts any more, but simple exercise like stretching can sometimes cause much pain in the knees. These little pods comes with bands and stickers that I can attach them to my knees! Very convenient, and what is more, it works! I just tried a few times, but I can definitely feel difference. I can stretch more with the pods on and the pain level is much less.
Very happy with the product!

My significant other and I both experience moderate back and neck pain so we were both excited to try this pain relief device out. We both spend quite a lot of time seated in front of a monitor, and have the aches and pains that come from years of sitting in front of a computer. After using it for a few days, we both noticed a slight reduction in pain. I occasionally throw out my back, so I am looking forward to having this device on hand for that future unfortunate, but inevitable, occasion.
Will this work for you? I don’t know but I would recommend it to anyone that has persistent pain to see how well it will work for you. After a few minutes of use, the device becomes warm to the touch, so I think that the heat, vibration, and laser can combine to provide some pain relief.
The product has 3 modes (laser, laser and vibration, and laser and pulse). Each activation turns it on for a 30 minute cycle. The rechargeable battery lasts for about 2 full use cycles (60 minutes) before needing to be recharged.
Overall this product has a premium feel to it and appears to be very well made. It is very compact and easy to transport. It comes with an elastic wrist band and a package of stickers. The stickers are for precise spot application to the desired area of the body, and lasted me about 3 uses per sticker. If you run out of stickers and don’t want to buy more, it can be held against the body by hand. Also included is a micro USB charging cable.

These are amazing! I originally bought these for use on my hands and back. I have arthritis and back problems. The watch band that is included helps tremendously. My daughter has been telling me the benefits of red light therapy and to my amazement she was right. I am also using this to include my face. I have only been using a few weeks and have noticed my age spots on cheeks diminishing along with tightening my skin and improving my pores. I will be purchasing another set for my daughter. These really are worth every penny.

I bought this for my husband's bad shoulder. He doesn't feel it on his shoulder outright unless he presses on it but that doesn't mean it's not working. It gives some relief but I think he has a way to with it. But it was affordable and has healing features to it that in time I hope will help.

Doing physically demanding work my body takes a beating sometimes and as I’ve gotten older I feel it more and more. Between my back, my wrist and now recently my left knee, I’m always hopeful but a bit skeptical of pain relief solutions. This was definitely one of those skeptical but hopeful products! After using it on my knee, I’m completely convinced. A week ago my knee popped when I got up from squatting down and cold barely walk on it. With ice and otc medicine it had gotten to the point of being about 90 to 95% better. Though it was better, I still wasn’t able to sit with my leg crossed and not be uncomfortable, after a few uses with this I could. The pain feeling did not go away completely but it has slowly diminished after only a few uses.
The device is about the size of a half dollar which makes it easy to bring with you anywhere. It charges via a micro USB port and includes one in the box along with sticky pads and a band to use on the wrist and knee. The band is stretchable silicon and in my opinion feels well made for what it is. The device has 3 modes, laser only, laser and constant vibration and laser plus pulse vibration. The vibration on this thing is much more powerful than I thought it would be. In my experience I could get about 2 or 3 uses out of it before it needed to be charged, with each time being around 20 to 30 minutes. This was more than sufficient in my experience for treating an area for pain. The battery only takes about 30 minutes to charge back up. Anytime I can find something to help with pain and not have to resort to taking a pill, I’m all for it. I can’t recommend this thing enough for alternative pain relief. It’s not a miracle device but it’s a great alternative to pils for pain relief.

Beneficial for some pain relief

Verdict: It’s really hard to assess the full benefits of this device in such a short time, but it seems to relieve pain in my shoulder from a rotator cuff injury.
Initial impressions. This device is sleek and well-designed. The rubber bracelet has an interesting clasp mechanism. It also comes with double-sided sticky tape to attach to other parts of your body.
Function. The device charges in about two hours, and will last for about an hour and a half of use. There are three functions on the device: (1) laser only; (2) laser and vibration; and (3) laser and pulsation. The device attaches to the skin with double-sided sticky patches, or with the rubber bracelet. The double-sided tape works pretty well actually, and I have been able to reuse the same tape a few times.
Pain relief. We tried this product on a rotator cuff injury and on an upper-back pain. My wife didn’t notice any change in pain level on her upper-back pain. I feel that my rotator cuff pain is better after I use the device, so I have decided to use it every day. I use it on laser and vibration mostly, and sometimes on laser and pulsation. Time will tell if it makes a long-term difference.
Things I like:
- Nice compact device
- Easy to use controls for on/off and mode switching
- Double-sided sticky tape is included
- Noise level is very low
- Some pain relief experienced
Things I don’t like:
- Micro USB cable; this is an outdated format. Everything is moving to USB-C now. This is one of my last devices with micro-USB
- The rubber bracelet has a strange clasp system; it’s weird to use, and doesn’t hold well
Overall, it is a nice device that provided me some pain relief. My wife didn’t experience any change in pain however. Ultimately, this device may or may not work for everyone, but it is worth trying if you need some pain relief and you are willing spend the money on this device.

Takes several uses for results

The IASO is definitely more than it first looks as it is a small, lightweight disc, however after a few uses I did notice a decrease in my typical carpal tunnel pain. I did expect to notice an immediate pain relief and was a bit disappointed when it seemed to be just a minor vibration (my phone vibrates more when I receive a call) -- however after 3 consistent days of use, I began to see what others were talking about. All in all here's a few pros and cons:
PROS
- It has different 3 modes - No vibration, then a steady vibration, and then a pulse vibration, which is always the one I use
- It has cold and hot lasers
- It comes with a charger cable (no AC adapter though)
CONS
- It charges by micro USB (a usbc would have been preferable)
- The adhesives are single-use so buying for several uses will add up over time. I saw Best Buy has a pack of like 40 for $20.
- It auto shuts off after 30 minutes
- As stated, you won't see noticeable results until after several uses
It is a good resort for pain management, however the price point and the need to purchase additional adhesive pads make this a less likely choice for pain management for me. I could just use a good tens unit for the same pain. It may not be as convenient but does the job for lesser cost(the tens unit pads I can reuse a few times).

For minor pains...

I suffer from chronic pain. I have herniated discs up and down my back and arthritis and carpal tunnel issues.
So pain is no stranger to me.
I was skeptical on this product. Questioned how can laser light help pain.....?
Well, this product helped. It did not remove all the pain but it helped after about 1 hour of use. It only provided temporary relief but it did help.
There are 3 modes. 1 lights only. 2 lights and constant vibration. 3 lights and pulse vibration.
I prefer the 3rd mode pulse.
This item heats up at the end of first use. So be aware. My wife tried it and she did not like it. If you have sensitive skin be aware so you don't get burns.
Bad thing...... Band broke on me. 2nd use and the band broke. They should redesign band.
Sticky adhesive worked on about 5 uses before is stopped sticking for me..
I think this is for folks that have minor pain issues. Not like me. If you have chronic heavy pain.
For minor pain I would recommend this product. For heavy chronic pain it may not work for you to the extent you want.

Very Expensive But Works Well

HOW IT WORKS:
So, quick snapshot this device uses Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) which is supposed to work by stimulating regeneration or healing of your body tissues by increasing the blood flow to the selected area through the utilization of light and vibration. The light wavelengths are 680nm and 830nm which are supposed to be in the therapeutic range. There have been a lot of studies on light therapy that you can check out if you so please. Bottom line is that with increased blood flow your body can repair itself faster which leads to less pain. Since you are treating with light/lasers you can use this device anywhere on the body (neck, back, shoulders, elbows, wrists, legs, knees, ankles, feet, etc.). It is Class 1 FDA approved meaning it has minimal potential for harm as it is just using light and vibration to work, and no medication or needles are used. But they do put a disclaimer that you SHOULDN’T use this device if you “are pregnant, keloid patient, anti-inflammatory drug users, have cardiovascular disease, hematuria, hypertrophic scar marks, sensitive skin with allergies, medical devices or electronics such as wearable electronic medical devices, life support, heartbeat aids, electromagnetic generating devices, etc.” and obviously with lasers you shouldn’t look directly at them with your eyes. They also report that you should use it for 30 minutes per session with up to 3 sessions per day.
FEATURES/SETUP/USE:
It is wireless. The battery lasts for about 2 – 3 uses (depending on the mode used), uses USB Micro (gross) to charge, and takes about an hour or two to go from 0 – 100%. When low the device will jingle and vibrate occasionally. The LED will be red when charging and blue when charged. When in standby mode the LED will be Blue and when on and active it will be Green. To power on the device, you hold down the power button for 2 seconds and it will jingle. To power it off you hold down the power button again. To change modes, you just quick press the power button. That is the only button on the entire device. It takes some force to press, and you need to come at the right angle, or it won’t work.
There are 3 different modes. Once the device is on and you quick press the power button it will beep and then change the mode. Starting from just turning on the device if you press the power button once it activates Light Therapy Only, pressed again activates Light Therapy + Vibration, pressed a third time goes to Light Therapy + Rhythmic Vibration, and if pressed a fourth time will go back to standby mode and the whole process repeats. During a session it will turn off automatically which appears to be after about 25 – 30 minutes. It does not get hot. The vibration mode is mild where I can’t really feel it unless if I’m applying pressure myself and even then, I feel it more in my hand than in my knee.
It comes with 20 hydrocolloid adhesive patches. These are easy to apply to the device as they are double sided sticky. The original sticky side goes on the device, then you peel off the protective barrier and place it on the desired area on your person. It is quite sticky so once placed it doesn’t move even if you are moving around and/or are hairy like myself. I’m able to get 2 uses out of them but if you are less hairy or using on a less hairy spot you could probably squeeze 3.
It comes with a little rubber strap. Which will only work on your hands, wrist, feet or ankles. As anything bigger than that will be too big which makes it quite limited. I can’t get it on my knee, calf, forearm, elbow and I’m not a very big dude. So, using the adhesive patches are the way to go for most people. Which you can buy a package of 40 of them for $20.
DOES IT WORK?
I have chronic left knee pain. I’ve used this device probably 10 times on it. I do notice that directly after a session that the pain is noticeably reduced but not dramatically so. I’d imagine if you used it on a more vascular area that it would work even better as would using more than one device. The research also shows that it does work for various conditions. As for the recommendation or not. I’m on the fence as this product is hard to review. Not because it’s a bad product as the build quality is great, it’s easy to operate, the science says it works, and from my own usage it does work. But the pain reduction isn’t dramatic for my uses and due to the cost, I get hung up. But I think if you deal with chronic pain (especially in highly vascular areas) and/or are an athlete who is constantly pushing your body to the max that this could prove beneficial in taking the edge off your pain and decreasing your overall healing time if used on a regular basis. So, if you can get over the sticker shock and depending on your ailment this may be a great choice and the price would be justified.

This device uses a low level laser therapy technology. I am an avid runner and have knee pains after my endurance runs. I decided to try this for 3 weeks and used it for about 30 minutes alternate days. I didn’t feel anything different the first week, but started to notice less pain in my knee and my recovery time was faster. I was very skeptical in the beginning and did some research on laser light therapy and how the low light lasers are used to heal body tissues and stimulates tissue regeneration by increasing the blood flow in that area. I also suffer from stiff neck and very often go to chiropractor to treat it. I started using this device in vibration setting with the adhesive patch for about 20 minutes before I go to bed. My neck pain has reduced quite a bit with daily use and I now carry this device with me on my trips. I ordered few more adhesive patches and use this more often for treating my neck pain than my knee pain. My doctor mentioned that low light laser therapy is commonly used for treating patients with chronic pain and I decided to continue using this device for couple more months to see if my neck pain goes away for good. The only complain is the accessory band is flimsy and broke after couple uses, will have to order couple more as back up or use a Velcro strap to strap it around my knee.

Pain is relieved while wearing it

This disc works while you have it on. I feel a lot relief from my neck and back pain when I place it on the target sites. My carpal tunnel areas responded to it too. Currently, I'm having issues with my ankle that I reaggrevated from an old injury. I'm hoping that will respond just as well with more treatments, so far it is still tender with a couple treatments under my belt. I like the included wrist band because I am not a candidate for the adhesive option. I have sensitive skin that reacts to band aids, so I'll skip using the adhesives and stick to the wristband. The band fits on my ankle with plenty of room to spare too (about 2 inches left in slack on my 9 inch diameter ankle). My wrist is 6.25 inches and it secures perfectly on the very last rung so it's not loose.
Realistically, do not expect to exercise with this thing on. This is definitely more for stationary use.
The run time is short as well. The manual says (2) 30 minute laser only sessions can be accomplished after charging OR (1) 30 min laser + vibration and (1) 20 min laser + pulse vibration can be accomplished after charging. Recommended use is 30 minute sessions up to 3x a day per site. Don't plan on wearing this all day long on the same spot. Pregnant women and children under 13 are not to use this according to the warnings. I have noticed a short beep comes from the disc half way through the session and it turns itself off after 30 minutes.
Also, it does become warm and there are warnings about burns for sensitive skin people (which I am). So far, that is not causing me any problems.
Charging initially took several hours, but now it goes from red to blue(ready) in 30 -45 minutes. One side note, I was targeting my neck pain previously with a massage gun. I noticed a much better improvement when I did the laser therapy first then followed up with massage gun. I tried laser by itself and it relieves it while in use, but slowly returned to the nagging pain I felt before. The use of this synergistically with the massager has been great. My husband calls it the healing disc because the pain does get blocked when your using it (especially on the neck). Get a multipack if you have a spouse who will want to use your new toy so you don't have to wait for a turn.

The WellsCare - IASO Wearable Laser FDA Class 1 Pain Therapy device is a very unique electronic pain relief aid. Working with computers all day long is causing discomfort in my right wrist. The provided arm band can be positioned just where it’s needed and after a 30-minute pulsating massage, the pain is noticeably diminished for a few hours. I now use the “IASO Laser puck” once mid-morning and once mid-afternoon. Additionally I have related shoulder and neck pain and with the aid of the included adhesive pads, I can stick the device on a specific spot on my back as well. I was able to get 3 uses per pad before it’s not sticking anymore. That depends on how smooth/hairy and dry/oily your skin is, and how much body movement there is where you place the device.
The battery is only 260mAh, so it lasted just about two 30min sessions, one on Mode-1 which is cold lasers only and another on Mode-3 which includes pulsating vibration massage. The device does get rather warm when used with the vibrating modes, but not too hot to be uncomfortable. I believe the warmth actually helps with some of the pain relief as well. Since it is FDA approved, I guess there is no harm to the skin/muscles from the lasers, unless you have sensitive skin with allergies, but also make sure you do not look directly at the lasers. Also read all the other safety warnings at the beginning of the manual such as - “patients with cardiovascular disease, kidney disease, cancer or diabetes should not use this device”
If you can afford it and don’t have any of the conditions listed in the safety precautions, this may help alleviate moderate pain on the neck, shoulders, back, wrists, legs, knees, ankles, feet...I would suggest the vendor and posts a copy of the user manual on-line, so potential buyers can check the safety precautions warnings and caution sections before purchasing, to make sure you don’t have any medical conditions that would prevent you from using this device.

These work really well. I have used them on several areas and they deliver gentle relief - either with the vibration or just alone with the laser. My husband has had pain in his feet and described it as walking on glass. He decided to give them a try and one 20 min session with them allowed him to get much relief that he no longer had the glass like pain he was feeling.

So I got the IASO Wearable Laser 1 Lain Therapy from WellsCare to help with sore muscles. I wanted something compact and easy to use. I was intrigued with WellsCare’s device because it was the size of a watch, can be attached via adhesive or with band. I have this a couple of weeks of testing and here are my thoughts.
Setup: the IASO utilizes advanced low level laser therapy (LLLT) technology. LLLT, that is claimed to be more powerful in transmitting light faster and penetrating deeper than LEDs. With that said, the might and vibration are meant to promote healing of body tissues and causes regeneration and relief from pain. It comes with a micro usb cable for charging, 20 disposable adhesives, and a band. Charging it up was fast.
Ease of use: I found it really easy to use. The instructions were self-explanatory. And once you turn it on, you have three options to use (light therapy only, vibration l, and pulse). I tried it first with an adhesive to my back. I love how it is easy to stick, very compact (size of a watch), and Rechargeable. Due to the compact and easy to apply size, the IASO takes care of pain in the neck area, your shoulders, back, limbs, wrists, legs, knees, feet, or anywhere you feel pain. I’ve popped it into the wearable band to try on my upper calf area and surprisingly, it did not feel tight at all.
Does it work? This is debatable because I used it every night and at times I felt the vibration and times I didn’t. I suffer from chronic cramps in my calf and have noticed that the soreness has gone down. So in a sense, yes it does work. The vibration can be better but I feel that the light does work into my muscles.
Overall, I really enjoy using this. I love how compact and ease of use, extra adhesives and the feel of it.

I got these when they were on sale as a kind of 'it's worth a shot'/ 'I'm in pain' impulse purchase when my neck was really acting up and since my neck, shoulders and back are persistently tight and in pain. I'm really glad I got these and I now use them almost daily.
I don't usually like the vibrate setting but heat+red light definitely soothes and relaxes my muscles. I really like how you just place it where it's needed with the adhesive and don't really think about it until it beeps to let you know it been about 30 mins. This takes little thought or effort and allows me keep doing other things while it does it's work.
While I love these and they definitely work for me I'm not sure the non sale price is worth it. Though if you're at a point where you're willing to try most anything just to get some relief and has the added benefit of being small and easy enough to not interfere with normal routines, it might be.
This is the first time I've used something like this as this was the first time I discovered this approach so I can only only speak of my experience with these and nothing else.
