I now have three of these around the house controlling lamps and a fan. Set up a IFTTT account to add some good features like automatically powering the fan if the temperature increases beyond your desired set point. The app is pretty simple, just on or off and what the usage stats are. You can get it to work on more than one phone or tablet without messing around too much. (I use iOS 7.x) The only downside is it relies on WiFi which can be a problem if your home has some dead spots or where signal comes and goes. This is just anecdotal, but I found reserving an IP address through DHCP and forwarding port 3475 seemed to make the control app happier / more reliable.

We paired this with the Echo and get to show off to our friends and family when we tell Alexa to control our Christmas tree.

This device was easy to setup and control from my smart phone. At this time of the year it is especially useful for turning the lights on and off on the Christmas tree. The only downside is that if one wants to control devices at two or more locations a separate IOS/Android device is needed for each remote location.

Like the fact that I can turn light on before getting out of the car. No more fumbling for switch in the dark with full hands. Using the timer function to turn light on in morning works well. Wish the app worked on tablet as well

I use this to control a fan in my house. I can turn it on while I'm at work before I go home and cool the room. Power use monitoring lets me know how much it costs to operate the outlet for the day and estimate the monthly cost. It also has a automatic timer feature to let it turn on/off at specific times of the day.

Great accessory for the modern home. Works well with Amazon Echo seamlessly as well. Took just a few minutes to set up and use. The scheduling feature is great for coming home to a lighted home or for use when away. Nice to be able to turn on and off selected appliances. Excellent for users that have limited mobility.

I bought this product because I wanted the least expensive way to automate my home's lights without replacing all of them. Plug in is great and easy to setup, just wished it wouldn't make a click every time a light is turned off from the manufacturers app.

Purchased three of these for Christmas gifts for family members. No negative feedback so far.

This was probably the best purchase that I made in 2016. The physical device is simple to install, and is in fact, probably the most reliable Wi-Fi device that I have. The app is solid, and the data download (.csv) and email option are excellent. I look forward to installing more stuff from Belkin.

Purchased this for the purpose of turning on our hallway lamp from our smartphone since we go to work early and get home when it's dark. Love being able to set the time to turn on and turn off as well as display an estimate of how much electricity was used during the duration the lamp was on.

have this connected with ittf and google home. can use it with my phone tablet or google home. have it set up to power off automaticaly after 4 hrs. i use this timer setting to power all my devices at once. i have a power stripe connected to it and all my chargers are connected at once

I have 3 other WEMO devices and like them all. The electricity usage reports for the insight are really usefull.

I had a little trouble with installation, but once I got it working it did exactly what I wanted it to do.

This is a good product, but I hope that Wemo becomes Apple HomeKit enabled soon.

Works great with my husbands Amazon Echo,it's his new favorite toy.

I love that I can tun my lights on and off from anywhere. I can turn all my lights on before I get home so I dont come home to a dark house.
