This device is great for when we are not home when it gets dark. I set lights to turn on and off on a schedule. Now we come home to a lit up house. And I can change the times or turn the light on and off from an app on my phone. Great product!

This is a fun little gadget. Everyone has their unique use cases and didn't quite fit mine. Phone / Website control is great and I had zero problems setting up and pairing. Rules and IFTTT work great, but are limited. Where I felt it fall short is 1) Defaults to "off" after a power failure. That means whatever you plug in to it will NOT be on when the power comes on. 2) Difficulty maintaining remote access in a wifi environment with multiple AP's. The switch connects to the network no problem but the remote access iOS app seems baffled. Those are pretty specific gripes so if they don't apply to you the device is fantastic. :)

Works perfectly with the Wemo app, but Smartthings does not have a device type for this switch and doesn't recognize it, even though it finds the regular Wemo switch (without the Insight feature) and controls it properly.

The WeMo products are great and typically perform well but in certain situations there seems to be confusion between other devices and my WeMo had to be moved to a different location closer to a Wi-Fi signal

The insight switch integrates seamlessly with Amazon and syncs instantly with your wifi network. The best thing about the switch is its energy consumption monitoring. I live in a high cost state for electricity so this feature is great.

I love this plug. I can control the light switch via the app as well as with the Alexa. Using the mobile app, I can look at see if the light is on, or I can turn the light on or off. This is better than using a timer while you are away on vacation.

I wanted to try a WeMo gadget for fun. I can not find a real need yet. But its fun and to control anything over the web is amazing to me.

This works well with Alexa. I put it on my covers porch a goods ways away from my router. It accasionaly has trouble connecting which is my only complaint.

I use this to control a heat lamp. It turns itself on at sunset and off at sunrise with scheduled warm ups throughput the day. It does occasionally act up with Alexa, but overall is pretty consistent.

Works on and off .was great in the beginning now i have to press the power button on the app over and over for it to turn on ..easy install buggy tho

It's nice that it can tell me all the statistics for how much energy is used by the lamp depending on how long I'm leaving it on. Otherwise, the Wemo mini is a cheaper option that performs the same on-off, schedule functions

This works great with my WeMo gear. I hooked it up to a space heater so that I could control when the power was being used. It's great seeing the power usage details and setting up rules with IFTTT so it's not running when it's unneeded.

Have independent control of any of your electric items with no outside association. No fees to pay and no limit on locations. Take it anywhere. Use it anywhere. Program different schedules and modes. Works off Wi-Fi or 3G. awesome item.

Purchased this adapter to connect my 2 HTC Vive sensors, now I can turn them off/on with my phone. Works as expected, great connectivity and has a wattage counter. A bit of over kill for VIVE so looking into more uses for them.

This thing is a pain in the neck to setup. Took me about an hour or more. The TPC switch was a 3 min setup. Not sure whyour it's so difficult.

This is the best looking window unit A/C I've ever seen! The unit works great. The app is a little hinky (loses connection easily). I docked it one star because it doesn't support IFTTT.

Only downside is that it doesn't integrate with Apple HomeKit, but I'll go ahead and blame Apple for not allowing support of WeMo devices! These devices are outstanding, and their app is great and intuitive too!

I have about 10-11 Wemo devices throughout the house and find them extremely useful and easy to set up/incorporate into your Smart Home set up. They are particularly easy to set up with the Alexa system.

Great plug - works seamlessly with my Amazon Alexa Dot - easy to set up and use the App on my phone to turn on/off when I'm not home and set on a schedule with IFTT. I love this product and plan to buy more!

Thought Wemo sounded interesting. Installed easily but other than turning lights on and off ($5 timer does almost as well) I haven't yet found a use for it. Im hopeful.
