Disappointed - Switc not power on after power loss

However, I took these out - if the outlet loses power, the switch WILL NOT power itself back on. You will need to MANUALLY press the power button on the device to turn back on, making it virtually worthless for whatever is plugged into it in case of a power outage while away from home. Apparently you can hook IFTTT calls to power it back on, but that shouldn't be necessary.

Unreliable Connection

Thank you for sharing this feedback. Once the Wemo device has been configured, it should be reliable both locally and remotely. There's a possibility that the internet connection on your cellular device is not steady. The Wemo app will require a steady network in order to work properly.

Doesn't work

Love/hate

Very difficult to set up. App is useless.

It works but support is lacking

Range is not the best. Don't rely on the Belkin WeMo tech support, it is non existent. I submitted several tickets only to receive notifications that the tickets were closed. I never heard from their tech support. I finally figured out the problem after days of troubleshooting. There has to be a better solution or they need to support their product better.

Thank you for sharing this feedback. The Wemo Insight Switch should maintain its connection once it is configured. You can try to reset and configure the device again, and make sure that the firmware is up to date to fully enjoy its features.

Hard to program...

Some features don't work
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought to test the functionality to possible use for remote monitoring so the reports and scheduling were the most important part to me and that part doesn't work, At all. But yea I added the app to android and ios devices and from a phone while out to eat could check to see if the device (and the lamp connected to it) was on or not.
