This product does what it says it's supposed to do. Easy first time set up and reliable. The app is a bit tough when you go to set it up on another phone because it's almost like you're going through first time set up again.

I use this for my humidor and lights that don’t have a switch. They work great!!!

Bought this Belkin Insight Switch to work in tandem with our Amazon Echo device. If you plan on using this on an outlet that is close to your router, you should have no issue. However, if you think because your cellphone or other device can pick up a WiFi signal in a certain location in your home, that means that the Belkin Insight Switch will as well, you may be disappointed. The range seems to be a big problem. We never had any issue with anything connecting and staying connected to our WiFi and to get this switch working necessitated moving our router to quite an inconvenient location and spending $20 on a cable long enough to reach this location. Now it works as advertised. So depending on your situation it may not be as easy as "plug-n-play".

Love that I can control my lamps from my cell phone if I'm running late coming home from work. Also it's great that I can set rules for when I go on vacation that are based on specific times or within a set amount of time from sunset/sunrise.

The WeMo Insight Switch does its job perfect! It can be a bit of a pain to initially set up, but once done, it works like a champ. I'll be buying more of these.

Bought this WEMO plug to replace a manual timer I was using for a lamp. Figured it was easier to adjust the time using an app instead of having to reach behind the furniture, unplugging, etc. It really is much easier and I'm just looking for the basics and not full integration and automation. I like the ability to use sunset as the turn on time and to set different on/off times based on the day of the week. The only frustrating thing I've encountered so far is that the device loses connectivity to the Wi-Fi if the power goes out. When that happens, I need to reconnect the device to Wi-Fi which has to be done in person. I think that can be solved my assigning a specific IP address to the device but I've never had the time to try. Except for that, it does what I need it to do.

These Wemo Insight Plugs are absolutely great at replacing anything you once used timers for or need to automate via your smartphone or the Internet. They can be set for several different routines (time, incident, controlled by Amazon Echo or Google Assistant,etc.) and can be controlled anywhere you have internet access. You can be on the other side of the world and turn your bedroom lamp on at home. It is perfect for giving your home that "we are home" look when on vacation. It even has a vacation mode that automates on/off cycles. Best of all, with the Insight plugs, with the Wemo app, you can tell how much power your device that is plugged into the Wemo is using. These are highly recommended, especially if you use Google or Amazon to control your house!

Love being able to control my lighting from my iPhone when I am away. This Belkin switch is basically a timer for your lamps, etc. But oh so convenient when away. Belkin support staff was great when a problem occurred after a software update. They continued to work with me until the problem was resolved.

These are really cool and I love the fact that I can monitor my energy usage.

I bought this because I was really interested in knowing how much energy my home server used. I also wanted to integrate with IFTTT.com so I could turn my Christmas tree lights on and off via my phone. It works great, the IFTT integration is really cool and I found myself moving it around the house to figure out see how much energy each and every one of my appliances uses. My only gripe is that the app is kinda slow and clunky, It gets the job done and looks pretty good, but it's not as fast as I hoped. Overall I'd recommend it, because I'm sure the app will improve over time.

I use this to turn on lights and small heaters. I can set this up to turn on/off at certain times or to turn off after a certain amount of time. I can turn the items on/off when I am not home. It has many more options. Very handy!

This is my third wemo i use for exterior light and working great.
