Very easy to install. Very easy to set up. Works great!

Bought this because we are always leaving the basement light on. Its easier to use this switch to switch it off than ran down the stairs. Was easy to install and setup. I also paired it with my other wemo switch and Alexa. So now I just tell her to turn off basement lights. I will buy more soon.

Bought this and a plug for stepdad. He loves how he can control everything from an app on the phone. Super simple and fun for all. He thinks it funny to turn the lights on and off from the sofa so freak people out and think the power went out. We've caught on to his games now though!

Installation very easy. Just follow instructions. Requires neutral wire. Works well,with other WEMO devices on the same device (i.e., I-phone) and same router. I can't get WEMOs to work on same device with different routers (different houses).

The switch was easy to install. The setup was straight forward although the firmware updates took a while to install. Overall, the features are great - I have outdoor lights set up to go on at sunset and off at sunrise. I may purchase one or two more in the future.

I bought and installed four of these for lights around my home, Set them up in minutes and had remote control from both of our Apple and Android phones and tablets. Now that they are supported by the Amazon Echo, we have voice control over all of them. Very cool!

Easy to install and configure to work with your home WiFi network. I now have 4 total wall switches and 2 plug-in switches. Easy to configure with the WEMO app for the iPhone and iPad. Functions perfectly with the phone/tablet apps. Especially like the feature that my exterior lights on the wall switches can be configured to turn on/off according to the sunset/sunrise daily schedule for my zip code - configured from the WEMO app. Make sure you are installing the wall switch on single light and switch circuit-- it does not work for a 3-way configuration.

This product is actually better than they advertise. These actually are more useful than a regular timer. The timing ability is awesome. I have all of my exterior lights on different time settings with these switches. They also automatically adjust the on/off times via internet because you can have it follow the sunset or sun rise. I think Belkin should advertise that, they would sell way more. I put 5 of these in my house and think they are best product in a long time. I have my lights go on at sunset and shut off at verious times during the night depending on locations. Some shut off at midnight, some shut off at sunrise and others at ramdom times. Really cool stuff. Plus, I can change anything from my smartphone or tablet. The on/off from my phone is almost instant. Almost zero lag time from push to operation mode.

I haven't dabbled in smart home stuff too much yet, as I can't determine which standard I want to use. I had a need to have my outside lights come on at dusk and shut off at dawn, and after reading reviews I decided to give the WeMo switch a try since it works on WiFi and doesn't need a smart hub. Be aware that this switch takes up a fair amount of space in the electrical box. I was installing it into a double switch that had a dimmer next to it, and I ended up having to move the dimmer to another location (it's a three-way switched light) so that I could fit the WeMo switch in the box. After moving the dimmer I got the WeMo in without indicent, and once it was installed it only took about 10 minutes to get it up and running (took a little over an hour to install it, since I had to move the dimmer for the other light to another spot). The app was a little confusing at first, but after reading the instructions I figured out what I was doing wrong, and I now have my outdoor lights coming on at dusk and staying on until dawn. There are a ton of options in the app for on/off times and triggers. All in all very happy.

I've been pretty happy with the Belkin. Installation was not difficult, but may be a little challenge for those that are not a DIY type. If you can change a light switch you can do this. The switch is handy, and I like the fact you can control from the phone or from the switch. The 3 star rating comes from the fact that there's been a number of times I've hit the switch and it doesn't work, or it may loose a connection. Doesn't happen much, but it's a bit of a hassle when it does. I do recommend the switch though.

Easy to use. Pretty easy to install if you know how to install a light switch. The hiccups are the wireless portion. Once done, love the ability to control it from anywhere via an app and the ease of programming rocks!

While these switches take a little bit of know how to install, the set up is relatively simple, and after wading through a few firmware updates, it is straightforward to start programming the switch. If you use the IFTTT logic, all sorts of possibilities are unlocked, almost whatever you could think of, such as turning on the lights automatically when you get home, or turning the fan on automatically when it got a little warm. Of course it still works as a light switch. Bonus feature, you can use a long press of the switch to control whatever you want. I have it set up to text my phone on a long press, as a sort of page. Wifi signal needs to be good, but otherwise very impressive.

Great product easy install. My only complaint is I have a at&t HTC one m7 and the app hates my phone. I spent a hour trying to do the initial setup on my phone and it just wasn't finding it. Grabbed my kids Samsung galaxy tab 3 7.0 and it instantly found it and was able to set it up. Once setup works ok on my one, but changing rules is like pulling teeth from a kid. Again I have to turn to the tablet to change rules. But checking it and turning on/off from phone no worries. Instructions need work as well. Wasn't clear on how to set rules I just found it. And when doing initial setup I couldn't find anything to help me, I only grabbed the tablet out of frustration and desperation.

I have several of these switches. They work well with the WeMo app. Currently using several to control all outdoor security lighting with timers and auto-on feature as we arrive home.

Works great but wish it could dim. For $40 it should be able to dim. But as a on/off switch its perfect. The app works great and can setup a schedule for auto on/off during certain days of the week.

(Also bought and reviewed the plug-in switch) I've started to replace some outlet and light switches around the house to give it a more lived in look when we're not around. I'm not looking for complete automation like a Z Wave system so the Wemo system works perfectly. Installation was easy for both the outlet plug and wall switch if you're comfortable with simple home wiring. The finicky part was getting the app to talk to the switches to get them set up the first time and get the firmware updated. There was more than a few resets and reloading of the app but once I got it set up it works nicely. What seemed to help is not rushing the set up and just let the app churn for a while.

Easy to install. Switch itself is fairly deep so make sure you have the room in the gang box you're planning on installing it. Easy set up and programming. Thrilled so far.

For any smart home there are some electrical circuits that can only be accessed by a switch. This is the one for me, easy to install, very easy. Great quality and the packaging shows a true attention to detail. The switch is very easy to pair with the app and then with the echo dot. As part of a group we can access the switch alone or with an entire set of smart plugs, switches etc. The switch itself as a manual instrument is a push once on and push again off. So easy to buy, install, pair and operate it is hands down the must have for a smart home installation.

This is a product that performs well after some archaic installation procedures- and I have not figured out how to give control to more than one device also there is a quirk I cannot see the devices on the wifi I set them up on - i have to turn wifi off and use the cellular net. This could be because they communicate on 2.4GHz and I have a dual net and the iPhone automatically selects the 5GHz. Seems Belkin is producing the switches on the cheap (not using dual band). All of that said the scheduling works without fail - so far.

I have pets in my home and I do not want them to be left in the dark. So the option of dust to Dawn is perfect for my situation. As well as the porch light. The reason for only four stars was because If you do not have a white wire on your switch it will not work. and I wanted to put another one in A different spot but unfortunately it did not have a white wire. I currently have three of them in my home. Would highly recommend them to friends and family. Also works well with the app which is also very important.
