The switch install is straightforward. Just make sure you have a neutral wire where you are installing the switch. During the configuration using the WeMo iOS app I kept getting a bad wifi password error. I eventually just exited the app and opened it back up. It worked after that. Neighbor had the same issue. Must be a bug in the app.

This light switch was very easy to install and to set up. This is the second WeMo switch I have purchased and I installed it to replace the exterior standard light switch. Easily turn on or off the exterior lights no more fumbling in the dark for the key or looking for the lock. Great product and app is very friendly to use. If you can not remember if the light is on or off the app will let you know.

Great switch, easy to install and operate. Works great with Alexa too.

I really like the WeMo light switches. I connect them to Alexa and am able to use my voice to control them separately or in groups if I simply create groups in Alexa. There are *2* things I wish WeMo would do! 1) Create units that will work with multiple switches instead of only working where there is a single light switch that powers the light. 2) Create some 2-3-even 4 switch units. Most of the light switches in my home are triples - one for lights, one for fans and one for a random outlet. Wouldn't it be great to have a triple-switch model that could replace that unit? Overall, I like the WeMo products. When you are playing around with electrical wiring, etc. make SURE you turn the power off (I just go ahead and shut my whole house down to be safe!!!).

More than 50% of our home is covered by automated lights. However, in our kitchen, builder chose to install 4 pole CFL lights and I had no option to replace to automated lights without changing the entire ceiling casings. Since I was using Hue lights for rest of the house, I was not ready to use WeMo yet. Anyways Echo recently announced that they start supporting WeMo which I thought is interesting. I bought it from local BBY and installed it and connected to my iPhone and Echo, voila no more worries about leaving kitchen lights on at nights. Now we can simply tap on our smartphones or ask "Alexa" to turn off kitchen lights at night saving a trip downstairs! Installation is pretty simple. I am a electronics/electrical experienced person. If you are scared of working with electrical outlets etc., get it installed by a pro. Safety first! As far as the product specifications or features concerned, everything is working as claimed by manufacturer. We are happy with the product. I would have replaced more switched with WeMo, but sadly rest of the switches I need are either two way and/or dimmable.

I love my wemo switches. Had one problem with a wemo taking an ip reserved for another device. Customer support is lacking and really no troubleshooting on there end. Just returned it and bought another. Seem to fix the problem. Was unable to set static IP addresses, but these are the cheapest on the market. So you get what you pay for. Easy to setup and install for basic use.

Took a while to set up since there were more wires than what was on the instructions manual . Has to YouTube for some help. Afterwards it kept asking to update the app after you've updated it already, but somehow it just stopped on its own. Overall now that it works as it's supposed to, it's been great to have. The convenience of using the real switch or our phones to turn on/ off the light has been awesome

I bought these to replace my light switches for my porch and driveway lights. Setting the switch up is really easy and setting up timers is simple. The app works great and simple to figure out where everything is at and set it up.

I purchased this item before taking an extended vacation. I was able to control the schedule of putting on my exterior garage lights and front door light easily through my cell phone. It replaced a swithch that controlled both sets of lights. It was on a panel of five switches. Make certain you buy the correct one for the single or multiple poles.

I had an outdoor light post installed in my backyard. The light post is roughly 150 feet from my house and I wanted to be able to turn it on/off from my smart phone. The wiring process is relatively simple and very straightforward. The Wemo switch is fairly large so you may have trouble getting it into the outlet box. You also need to make sure you have a neutral wire at your outlet box. The only issue I've had is the WiFi setup. For some reason it took dozens of attempts for it to find and actually connect to my network. Then a month later it lost the connection so I had to reconnect it. Since then I've had no problems. I am now able to turn my lightpost on/off from any location. There are some helpful videos and information on the Belkin website. Very good product. I would have given 5 stars if I hadn't experienced so many issues with the WiFi setup.

Works great. Expensive but worth it. Works with Alexa.

This was my first automated light switch and it is amazing. Installation was a challenge but the videos helped. It connects with my nest and Alexa which is great. I'm able to turn on my backyard lights with ease. I will be purchasing more for the rest of my home. It's a great buy if you're looking for home automation.

Purchased this switch to control lighting outside of my home on a regular schedule. The physical installation was very easy and straight forward. My only issue occurred trying to get it to recognize my Wifi. I use a VPN and had to disconnect from it in order to connect. Once that was done it connected immediately.

I bought this switch to replace my living room light switch and integrate with Amazon Echo (Alexa). Unfortunately, my living room light switch was a 3 way switch and this WeMo is not compatible. So, I moved this switch elsewhere in the house and it works great. There are some other options out there for 3 way switches that work well for that.

I have my front porch pendant light and my 2 lights on the sides of my garage. I installed the Wemo Wall Switch so that I could turn On & Off the 3 front Lights from anywhere in the world with my smartphone (iPhone). Once I downloaded the Wemo App, I discovered I can set that particular Wemo Wall Switch to come On daily at 5pm, and to go Off at 5am daily automatically, using the Wemo App. I like using the Wemo Switch / App to have all 3 lights come On & Off at the Same Time also. I thought about buying the solar sensitive lights, but then they would all not go on and off together. I like how you can program times in the App. Way Cool!

Moved into a new house and had to buy 2 right away. One for the front porch and one for the back porch. Otherwise they stayed on constantly. Very easy to install (make sure you turn of power at the breaker). Easy connection with the app. Easy to set the schedule. Do yourself a favor and try these out.

Have 4 of these in my house now and love them! My cousin bought into the Hue lights, I bought into all the Wemo adapters (don’t need color changing light bulbs) I can use what ever watt lightbulb I want with these where he is stuck with whatever they are selling now which to me never seems bright enough. They can be a little quirky at times with connection, but find the connection with these to be more solid compared to the plug adapters. All mine are Alexa enabled and are a life saver when my hands are full. Try to keep the names simple otherwise Alexa may not understand what you are asking her for. App works pretty well.
