Easy Setup & Control
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.As long as you are handy and comfortable changing a receptacle or light switch (with power shut off of course); physical installation isn't any different. Easily fit in place of existing "dumb switch". Upon restoring power to that circuit it was very easy and fast to connect the switch to home WiFi using the Wemo app and then set it up to turn on at time I wanted..

Getting smarter with smart light switch

I made sure I had the common white wires then bought and installed it. Not too difficult. The hard part was setting it up with my phone. Just kind of a pain in the butt. What's much much worse though is when I bought a new router/modem. Maybe I'm dumber than my smart switch, but I don't think Wemo makes it very straightforward.
