Easy to install. easy to use connects easy to wifi

I was a bit apprehensive at first, not knowing how difficult it would be to install and setup. Well, I'm so glad I went for it! Installation is straightforward if you've installed light switches before and setup is simple! This product operates great.

The lightswitch was installed rather painlessly, however keep in mind if you live in apartment complex that are alil older that you have all the required wiring to be able to hook these switches up. No issues with the switch itself but the Android/iOS apps could be alil less clunky. Otherwise a great product.

The wemo light switch was easy to set up and to wire up. All parts needed were in the box, minus the screw driver. I recommend you look at the wiring videos online first. It works great! And i would connect every room it this was my house. I am not new to the Wemo line of products and i am very happy with them.

Easy to configure. Simple for program schedules. Love it!

This is my fourth WeMo light switch. If you are comfortable working around electricity this is a fairly easy install. Just turn off breaker before removing the old switch and installing the WeMo switch. You will need the WeMo app on your phone to complete the installing by connecting to your home's wifi. I also link to Alexa so that I can control my lights with my Echo Dot. You can also set the lights to turn on and off at specific times through the WeMo app. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that occasionally after a power outage I have to go through the install process again to get all the switches to work with Alexa.

In addition to my hue lights, I have 4 of these wemo light switches that control lights that were not smart like our flourescent kitchen light and a daylight light I installed at our laundry area. They are great especially its integration with Amazon echo that enables you to control the lights by voice.

The first thing you need to do if you're going to install a WeMo switch is make sure you have a white neutral wire available. After that the installation is pretty straight forward, but it can be a tight fit in a multiple switch box. Once the switch is installed and the breaker turned back on, the wifi setup was a snap and the switch showed up right away in my WeMo app. I already had a dimmer switch in the master bedroom and our living room. This switch is controlling our front porch light and the scheduling options are great. I have it set to come on 15 minutes before sundown and to go back off 15 minutes after sunrise.

The Wemo App is a bit slow when booting-up, but it does its job reliably. Unfortunately, the unit itself was too big for the light-switch casing that was built into our wall so the switch is slightly sticking out un-aesthetically. The unit itself is also noticeably very hot on the wall probably because of its built-in router.

I am a big Wemo fan and have found the devices to be easy to use and dependable. The only reason for not giving a 5 is that without the periodic discounts the product is a little overpriced and the design should consider that many houses use colors other than white on their switches and wall plats.

Make sure you have a COMMON wire! WeMo light switches are easy to setup, I have five throuhght my home, including one that controls the patio light, all connected to my Google Home devices. My next addition will be a Logitech Harmony Hub to control my home entertainment system.

I'm very happy with my wemos. I have 4 of them. They are extremely easy to set up with my wifi. They all keep great connections. I've purchased my first in May. The first one would drop connection constantly. I then had to replace my wifi router with a better one. No more dropped connections since then. The hardest and longest part of setting it up is trying to move the wires out of the way in order to fit the box in. It is truly a tight fit. Because of this, I can't get two wemos side by side in a double light switch. Bummer! I will continue to add more wemos until my entire house is converted. Note: when I turn my electricity back on after a new install the older wemos connects back to my wifi automatically.

The installation of the switch was quite easy. Getting the swtich connected as a little more of an issue. The app wouldn't find it on the network using my android phone. Was finally able to get it to work with an android tablet. Works as intended now. Wish the switch housing was a little more metal and a little less plastic.

This is a really cool swith. It's nice to click on lights remotely when you are on your way home, or it's easy to set up through an iOS device to click on automatically if it is dark and you are approaching home (IFTTT). The capability of this little system is pretty impressive. The only complaint I have, is that if you don't have a great router, or you need to reset your router occasionally for service interrupts and such, the switches don't like that at all. Additionally the remote connectivity can sometimes be a little buggy. But in general it works very well. Oh, also, they only work as a single pole switch, and comes with a single faceplate, so it requires additional work and parts to install in a 2 gang electrical box.

I bought 2, one for my kitchen and on for my front porch light. I have the front porch light coming on at dark and going off at sunrise. Never have to touch this switch again. The kitchen light I use with 2 of the wemo motion to cut the light on and off when someone is in the kitchen, I also use one of the wemo plugs to cut my under cabnet lighting on when I'm just passing through and not going in the kitchen. Love it they work really well I have had no problems so far, want to add the same set up to the bathroom. Tech makes my life extra lazy.

Bought this switch for use with Alexa, and was easy to set up. nice feature is that you will always have remote access to what ever this switch controls. nice for when you are on a trip and just want to turn the porch light (for example) on or off from any ware that you have access to the internet. also can be used to set up scenes (turn lights off and turn TV on for a movie) , all types of ways these switches can be set up. I think they are worth the money, I ended up purchasing 8 of these for my house. Also tech support for me was A++. they took their time and solved an issue I was having and never rushed me.

I used this for my front entry lighting. The switch installed in minutes with no problems. Design is very sleek, strong and well fitting for the purpose. The hardware is great, the downloadable app is a little slow, but still well worth having! I plan to purchase more in the future.

This thing looks nice on the wall! it was fairly easy to set up and easy to follow the instructions. The button clicks instead of rocks, which I was unaware of but it hasn't been a problem. It was just something to get use to, having rocking switches everywhere else. Integration with the cell phone (I use Android) was quite easy and it is very responsive. Some reviews I read said there was some lag from turning on and off from your cell phone, but that may be because those individuals have a bad connection to their internet. Will definitely be buying more of these to put around the house.

This device works very well. It was relatively easy yo install but you do need some patience. To connect to my phone I had to turn off all other data connections including data over the phone.network and remove any active wifi connections. Otherwise the phone.would connect.to the WeMo but disconnect and select.another connection that had internet access. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is because it will not support 2 way switches. I did find a way around.this by keeping the second switch always in on position. Otherwise the WeMo works great. I love the ability to use my phone to control as well as making.simple rules with the ap. Works great !

I've now purchased 3 different sets of Wemo switches to set up different automated schedules for lights to turn off and on. Setup takes a few minutes and once you've setup your rules, I don't have to do anything for a fully automated solution for all of my outside lighting needs.
