Aesthetically this switch is outstanding, IMO. I believe it stands out a one of the most attractive smart dimmers on the market. Functional when the device works it is superior to most as well. However, occasionally my unit will not function unless the circuit it is connected to is turned off and then back on. That is annoying. In addition, although the app is user friendly, it has its flaws as well. During firmware updates I have experienced times when the app states that the firmware is loading for days. During that time the app is useless.

    My First Smart Switch

This is the first smart switch that I have installed in my home. First, what I liked: Switch itself is pretty modern and slick looking. Manual controls are intuitive, you can slide your finger to dim/brighten the lights or just hold your finger at your desired brightness level for a second to go there instantly. Dimmer Feature is great! It allows you to set up a time range when you can use a reduced brightness - typically evening and morning work for me. App is pretty easy to set up and connect to your switch and has a pretty intuitive interface. Turning the light on and off from the app is instant - I was expecting a bit of lag, but there really is almost none at all, same with using the dimming feature on the app. My main gripe is that I was hoping that voice control would be easier to set up. It seems that you need Alexa or Google home to set up voice control on this. I was hoping that just an android phone would be enough since it already has a mic and responds to voice commands (starting with "ok google"). In any case, maybe this will improve as time goes on. Although this is not an issue with the switch, it took a bit of time for me to find a brand of LED bulbs that were not buzzing when connected to a dimmer. This is a common problem with LED bulbs and dimmers though, so like I said, it is more of a bulb issue and not an issue with the switch.

The dimmer works great. I can set automatic turn off, turn on, dim, etc. I am able to connect with Alexa as well as IFTTT. It does not work with the 3way switches but I didn't need for it so no problem for me. If you don't need for a 3-way connection then this is the best stuff around (a bit pricey though).

Have this connected through Amazon Alexa. Sometimes it is slow to respond. Also, you may have some problems getting this large device in your switch box. Bought it on sale (list price was too high in my opinion).

Purchased this dimmer to use with my led high hats. Turned out that the dimmer is not compatible with the led’s I installed 2 years ago. So I installed it on the circuit that controls the pendants in my kitchen. Works great. Love that I can control the lights from anywhere. Can turn on, off, or dim. Can also set a timer to have the lights dim out over a preset time. I highly recommend this dimmer switch.

Overall I am pleased with this dimmer - it is pricy, but it works very well. LED lights have a minimum "on" setting that varies by brand - so if you want really dim, you might have to try a few out. Simple to install, and easy to get connected to the network. Yes I would recommend this - I already have 2 of them and will likely add a third and possibly a fourth...

Smart switches are pretty easy to come by but smart dimmer switches that don't need a hub are a rarity. This one works well. If you know how to wire a standard switch, you can handle the install on this. Once it's wired correctly, the set up is easy. Total install time including wiring it, connecting it to WiFi and connecting it to Amazon Echo took <30 min

We bought several of these switches for the claimed Apple Home kit compatibility, however, the reliability of these switches fall short. Random failures weekly or bi-weekly has led to extreme frustration. Initial physical installation is straight forward and quick. Wemo app and recognition of the switch is also straight forward. Regretfully, that is where it ends. Repeated attempts to integrate a new switch to home kit results in another switch dropping out. Re-add the dropped switch and another drops out. So, if you plan on installing multiple switches and you’re comfortable with adding them repeatedly, then these switches are for you. The only minimally invasive (time) result I’ve found to be effective is to reboot your router. Keep in mind, a different switch and/or switches will drop, so just keep rebooting your router until they all come back online (current record is 11 reboots) We are absolutely disappointed in their reliability to stay connected to home kit. Physically they are easy to operate, the dimming functions great, bulb compatibility is flawless and aesthetically they’re gorgeous, but for the price their constant maintenance is not worth the price of admission. Ultimately the choice is yours.

The Good The WeMo Dimmer is Belkin's best-designed smart switch yet, and it comes with a wide range of new, thoughtful features. ... The Bad Like the original WeMo Light Switch, the WeMo Dimmer won't work in three-way switch setups where more than one switch is wired to the same light.

The WEMO wireless dimmer switch is an easy to use, easy to install SMART home device. I am using it to dim 5 can lights in my living room. Switch works well with Google Home, and the WEMO mobile app. 5 Star rating for a quality device!

The installation was simple. Connected quickly with my wireless router. I do wish it worked with HomeKit now but hopefully soon it will. The app works great on the iPhone.

This is an awesome switch. Would highly recommend using with LED bulbs. When using compact florescence or traditional bulbs you get a humming sound on low light setting. Not a problem with the switch a problem with the type of bulbs. The switch allows you to tell it what type of bulbs you are using and set the range of dimming. Has so many nice features and supper easy to install. Again this switch does not work with 3-way switches. It only works on lights controlled by one switch. Wish WeMo made one for 3 way switches. I would have them all over my house.

I love this dimmer! Controls a bank of three LED light in our bedroom. Easy to install on a single switch circuit. Can control manually, on the Wemo app or by voice through Alexa link. Can be set to go on and off multiple times during the day to mimic normal use when you are away. When I go to bed I just turn the light off by voice . Neat!

I own multiple wemo switches, but this is the first dimmer switch I bought (because it was on sale and same price as the regular in the store), install was easy since I've done multiple. In the very early stages of the regular switches I've had issues, but for the past 2 years or so I've hadn't had any problems. Like I said this is my first dimmer so we'll have to see how this one holds up.

I had my eye on this for about a year. Works well in our media room. Great integration with Amazon Alexa... Easy to install and I'm only somewhat handy. One thing I have noticed is that if there is a power outage, it takes awhile for the link to Amazon Alexa to re-establish. Other than that, no issues. Would buy again.

I really like the offering here because it's an easier, less expensive way into light automation without spending lots of $$ on Philips Hue. My only concern is whether or not they will still have this product in 5, 10 years. I read that in Oct 2016 they discontinued their light bulbs... was that so they could focus on the switches and plugs? I hope so.

I absolutely love these Demers I bought on Black Friday they work so awesome with my echo I love being able to walk in and just tell Alexa to cut on my lights or dim them or cut them off. I also like the fact that I can go on the app for WeMo and cut my lights on and off from that if I am away from the house or Set up a schedule for them to turn on and off automatically. I am very satisfied with these dimmers and would highly recommend them to anyone
