Cheap Trick Forever

I've been a Cheap Trick fan since just before "At Budokan" was released, so naturally I've listened to a lot of Cheap Trick over the years. They have yet to disappoint me to any meaningful degree; there are no albums in their discography that I skip. Most people I talk to about Cheap Trick seem to think that the band called it quits decades ago, and are shocked when I tell them that CT is still actively recording and touring. It's a real shame, since CT has continued consistently to release great material. I believe that 2006's "Rockford" is one of the best Cheap Trick albums of their entire career.
Cheap Trick is much, much more than "I Want You To Want Me."
"We're All Alright!" carries on the Cheap Trick tradition of balancing the old and the new, experimentation and tried-and-true formulas, without betraying diehard fans by doing something that is alien to what we all love so much about the band. Personal favorite tracks include "Long Time Coming," "Radio Lover," and "Like a Fly." The cover of The Move's "Blackberry Way" is pretty cool as well. I'm glad that I got the deluxe edition with the bonus tracks, and would recommend doing so.
Cheap Trick continues to be the funnest band in the universe. Seriously. Cheap Trick Forever!

We’re All Allright – Cheap Trick. This CD comes out rockin’ with four powerful guitar driven tracks as if to announce, “HEY! We’re BACK! BANG!” From there it turns into more of a typical collection/album of songs with differing tempos. “Like a Fly” reminded me of various elements found on The Beatles “Sergeant Pepper” with some 007 James Bond theme like guitar riffs in it. Note that the deluxe version features three additional tracks.

How Cheap Trick continues to keep putting out new music and stay true to themselves, while still sounding fresh is beyond me. I have every one of their albums, and this one did not disappoint. Whether you're a fan, a casual listener, or a newbie just looking for good, fun rock 'n' roll, I will always recommend Cheap Trick. This album is no exception.

I'm glad they still possess the energy and drive to make good music like this. It's difficult to find Music of this genre that is newly produced. I have all of the vintage recordings already. I do admit that I'm a big Cheap trick fan. The last record was solid, too but this one is even better.

I had not bought a new Cheap Trick CD in years but did have several "greatest hits" compilations by the group. The new effort has a number of up tempo songs and is a great "comeback" effort from the group.

Cheap Trick has done it again - two CDs in a row now with great stuff! Rick has said he wants to get to the recording and touring cycle, and they are firing on all cylinders!

This is a good album by the band. It requires a few listens to get into it. I would have changed the track sequencing, but overall a fine album. Not their worst, not their best.

Cheap Trick delivers real rock n roll. Of the 3 extra songs, "Blackberry Way" is not only a good listen, but also has a real Beatles vibe.

Cheap Trick is back to basics with their new album. Great new tunes that sound like a blast from the past to the 1970's.

Great record, closer to their beginnings, not as melodic as their last record, still great performance, Mr Zander still in top form!

The tried and true Cheap Trick formula works here, with 13 catchy, hook filled songs at a little over three minutes each.

IMO, this is their best LP in years. Wanted the physical cd vs just a download for the cover and added songs.
