This popcorn maker works fine I'm a little concerned with the amount of unpopped kernels that it leaves. This may be a result of the popcorn I'm using.

Came in and saw this case and a great buy. Decided to give it try against the big dogs and love it.

My kids love it just like the movie theater so much fun

This popcorn maker is the greatest. The top becomes a bowl for you to eat out of.

I've had two of the older Stir Crazy poppers for almost 3 decades and decided it was time to upgrade to a new one. I should have known that anything new is absolute junk. The very first time I used this popper the handle broke right off! The center nut that holds the stirrer is warped and allows kernels to get stuck underneath it, making a God-awful screeching sound that you can't fix while the popper is in use. The bowl does not hold as much as the old one and lifted right off, spraying popcorn all over my kitchen. Do not use a full cup as the directions say. I'm very upset that I wasted my money on a cheap popper that didn't even make one batch before breaking apart. I've gone back to my 30 year old Stir Crazy and will make do with what was once a quality item.

We were very disappointed in the performance of this corn popper. Even following directions to the T, there were many unpopped kernels the first time we used it, and even more the second time. Honestly, we tossed it out and bought a hot air popper, which works much better

Unit would only pop about half of the kernels placed in popper each use. After extensive complaining finally got unit replaced by working with another store that sells units.

Worst popper we've ever tried.Stirrer gets stuck.Husband loves popcorn so I thought he'd like this.No problem returning it though.

This pop corn popper doesn't work well. Was very slow popping kernels, and the ones that did pop burned while leaving many kernels un-popped.

No more unpopped popcorn or burnt popcorn. Popcorn taste better than air popped.

Wanted something to replace microwaveable popcorn, and this does exactly that.

First off, It says not to put anything directly on the hot plate except for popcorn oil. I tried buttered flavor popcorn oil and let me tell you, it tasted plain as paper. Second, you can put butter on the lid which melts and is supposed to drain on top of the popping kernels but the amount it says you can add doesn't even put a dent into the flavor of the popcorn and the holes on top are just weird which don't allow enough of the butter to seep in and your stuck with extra butter on top to clean. Third, cleaning it is just too time consuming. There is a gap between the hot plate and the out side of the popper so pieces of popcorn and butter end up in the crack and the hot plate does not separate so you can clean it. Finally it is just better to do it the old fashioned way in a pot on the stove or with microwavable bags.

I Bought this as a gift for my mother she loves it! Works very well!

had my old stir crazy for about 20 years so time to replace. this new one is a nice replacement. works just as well, better storage of the cord and also the top and bottom fit nicely into each other for better cupboard space. it's also prettier as it's in red instead of black !
