This was a perfect television for my kitchen area. It is compact, clear picture. Easy to operate, and comes with a remote. I am using this with only the local channels, not satellite. I was surprised to have gotten over a dozen channels. Now I can watch the news as I work in the kitchen. I would highly recommend this television.

Just got this TV for my bedroom. I wanted to replace the archaic one I had in there from 1999. It's a nice little unit for the money. There are no bells and whistles but, you get what you pay for. I got mine on sale which didn't hurt. And, because of the slim design of sets these days, it makes the room seem bigger! It was easy to set up right out of the box. Just be sure to also purchase an HDMI cable. I would recommend this TV to people looking for an economical choice. I'm happy with mine.

I purchased this tv for my 18 ft trailer. I was surprised at the sharpness and color of the picture this small tv gives you! It is very light and thin and can be moved easily. I will soon purchase a bracket to attach it to a cabinet where it can easily be tilted and repositioned for better viewing.

I purchased this TV mainly because of price. I viewed it in store side by side to other TV's costing much more and was more than happy with the picture. When I got this home, it was easy to connect and super lightweight. I liked it so much, I went back and bought a second one.

Bought this model on sale for $99 to replace an old TV/VCR combo in the kitchen. Mounted easily on swing arm mounted to the wall. Great 1080p HD picture (most sets this size are only 720p) and very light weight. Lots of connection options. Only downside are the bottom-facing speakers, which aren't very good (but options for external speaker connections). Good buy for the money.

The only possible drawback is sometimes a score in the corner of screen is partly hidden, which might be fixable with a screen-size adjustment. Other than that, it's a great tv. Sound is better than I expected, bright picture, and all the connections needed(pc, hdmi, usb). I am very happy so far.

I was in the store to get a different brand of tv because my old tube one finally bit the big one. I saw this one instead, on sale for $100 and that was the right price for me. Decent brand name, low price, lightweight to carry up the stairs, all I needed.
However, even though I'm not an electronics guru and don't care about the biggest, bestest, newest gadget, I find the sound very lacking on this tv. I guess the speakers are all on the back so when it's playing, it's very tinny because it's reflecting off the wall behind.
I actually paid extra money to get some (still cheap, low-quality) speakers that, while not the best in the world, greatly improved the audio coming out of it.
Other than that, it's been a good tv and I like the picture quality on it. Only other issue was conflicts with the Tivo remote - had to set the remote station (or whatever it's called in tivo) to 3 to get it to stop resetting the tv.

Picture quality is actually pretty good, sound is acceptable if you do some tweaking in the setting. The biggest negative is that there is only one hdmi input. I had to buy a hdmi auto switch to hook up both cromecast and cable box. Purchased it for $100 on sale worth it at that price but would not pay much more than that plus the hdmi switch, would just buy a TV with more hdmi inputs. The only other negative is the base is a little cheap and not adjustable but that seemed common on small TVs in that price range.

Good clear picture. Brightness, sound etc can be adjusted to personal preferences. Sleep timer handy at night. Gets all the on-air channels available in the area without the government-mandated digital converter so that alone was worth the money. Got it on sale too, which was nice !

For the $100 spent on this unit, I couldn't be more pleased. Vibrant colors, slim bezel, wide viewing angles, and adequate sound. If using the stand, I recommend buying 90 degree cables (i.e. HDMI, etc) as there isn't much clearance between the bottom of the TV (which is where the connectors are) and the stand. This TV quickly found the channels without difficulty, whether cable or over the air. Flipping between channels was satisfyingly quick, whether cable or OTA. Remote control is not particularly intuitive but has all of the functions you would expect. I bought it as a TV for our RV when we camp, but it was a solid enough performer that we decided to use it in the house. It is light, but it seems sturdy enough, and survived the drive to a few camping trips bouncing around in the pop up camper.

Got this for my 14 yr old son for his first TV in his room. This was a good size for the price and when we got it home it had excellent picture. I was quite surprised how well the next gen game systems look on it. It is a must buy.

You get what you pay for. That is the underlying thought you should have if you are looking at this TV. It has 1 HDMI port, but has the other standard connections. The picture is good, not great. Audio is good enough. Remote is functional. Thats about all you can say about this TV, its a solid cheap TV. Absolutely no frills, none at all.
Stick this in a office, dorm room, garage, kitchen, wherever you would like a secondary TV you should be ok.
Just understand if you are paying $100 for a TV you are getting a $100 TV. Set your expectations correctly and you wont be returning this model to Best Buy the next day.

I purchased this t.v. for my mother inllaw because its light so she can move it around by her self. She is 95 yrs. old and lives in a nursing home. She loves it. She said it has a great picture and gets more channels than any of the tvs.. shes had in the past. She is very pleased and that makes me pleased.

Got this Tv for the bedroom of my little sister. Needed something small to fit on a bookshelf but have a great output for her gaming and Netflix. Immediately noticed that it had great sound for such a little tv, being in the bookshelf gave it wonderful accustics. Picture quality is wonderful and games have a great refresh rate when playing online. For under $100, we couldn't be happier !
