Lets start with this is a value TV so its not perfect by any means. The way I see it its a bit of a compromise between value and quality meaning it doesn't have all the bells and whistles as other more expensive Tvs but still is a great value. The image and sound are very good much better than I expected. A warning worth mentioning is that this TV doesn't have a HDMI-MHL port what that means is that it can't support a Roku or Firestick. The simplest explanation, the HDMI-MHL port is a special HDMI port that has power which both the Roku and Firestick need to work. There is a work around this issue I got a Roku express plus that has the composite AV cable which is used to connect the Roku to older TVs. Like I said this is not a perfect TV when connecting the Roku in such manner the TV looses some of the crispness of the HD image. Another option would be getting a USB powered HDMI adapter but I don't know for sure if this would work with any of the sticks. In conclusion if you are not too picky and want a large TV for less than 200 bucks go for it! I gave it a 4 stars only because there is no mention of the HDMI issue no where in the description I had to figure it out by myself. I think is an important piece of information for the customer to make an informed decision. Overall I'm happy with the purchase.

I've had this TV for almost 3 months & have been very happy with it. I work at home & purchased it to use as a monitor for my desktop computer and it's absolutely great. I was reluctant at first since Westinghouse doesn't always get the best reviews but I've had a 32" Westinghouse I bought about 4 years ago for 99.00 at Best Buy to use as a TV/Monitor that has outperformed my expectations. The 32" has been used an average of 8-12 hours a day since I purchased it with no issues at all and I continue to use it as a tv while I work on the computer with the 49". I've tried a couple other large screens with the computer & have found the color & advanced display options are not available when using the unit as a monitor. The Westinghouse allows the user to tweak settings and adjust for lighting conditions. I paid $199.00 for the 49" on sale with the extended warranty so I'm sure it will continue to please for a long time.

It's a great TV it really gives you the 50-inch screen feel has gray color Great Sound I haven't even put it at his maximum sound is at his bare minimum it is Extremely Loud so I'm pretty sure if I turn it all the way up he'll give me that theater feel it seems like it should be a smart TV but it's not it's just a regular 49 inch TV what is a great TV

If you're looking for a nice cheap tv that gets the job done this is it. If you don't care about 4k or smart apps you will be happy.

Perfect just what I was looking for.. great price nice picture, easy set up easy to use. Great for kids and gaming or watching movies, whatever you like delivery on time, I need to go to best buy to talk to them they helped greatly. Color bright. Sleep timer easy remote. Not to heavy. Looks like it will last a very very very long time . Not much more to say. I'm sure this is 50 characters now I'd like to submit

Ok. You know what you are getting at this price point and you expect it to do its job and have a semi decent picture. This tv does its job and is great if you are looking for a low budget, semi-larger tv. I would highly recommend this for a bedroom tv. If you are expecting to use this as a primary tv, don’t be disappointed when it’s not what you expected. It was easy to set up, easy to mount and the hdmi ports work well for external streaming devices. Grab this while you find a sale and it’s a steal. Great for a garage tv, mounting in an garden tub nook, or spare bedroom. The sound is actually pretty good with the internal speakers in a bedroom. Pretty good picture for the money and a younger teen will be satisfied with having a larger tv to show off in their room.

My fiancé and I just got this with my student deals discount yesterday. We set it up last night and we LOVE it! The only reason I gave 4/5 stars is because the sound is very sensitive. It goes up extremely loud, which might be good for some. On ours for everyday watching, we have the volume set very low so it wouldn’t be the best choice, necessarily, for background noise. Westinghouse is an awesome brand. It’s durable, sleek, and lasts forever. The trim on the edges of the tv is very small and minimal, making this look even more sleek. This is the absolute best deal I’ve scored in a while. No more squinting at the tv to read (we had a 40” prior to this tv), so 9” was PLENTY big enough for our living room. You just can’t beat this price for a Westinghouse. Plus, Best Buy will price match. We looked all over to find and even cheaper price and this one came out on top. Thanks Best Buy! This is a great purchase!!!

This TV is amazing! The size is great for my living room and the sound is booming. So, the volume I use is usually very low. Setup whether for cable or other uses is very simple and easy. I don't use cable but I have a Youtube TV Subscription. So, I plug in my chrome cast to one of the hdmi ports and this tv is beautiful. The quality is excellent, and everything works fine.

I purchased this TV a year ago and it's still doing great. I'll admit i did purchase the 5 year warranty just in case. However, I haven't had any problems with it and works fine. I do have it plugged into a fire TV stick which makes this a smart TV afterwards. For someone in college looking for something pretty big and cheap, this is it!

Paid $150, outstanding value for a simple , not smart, tv. I simply needed a non smart TV with good sound, good picture quality this tv far exceeded my expectations. Very simple pedestals simple setup. Ultra thin ultra lightweight. BestBuy beat everyone's price during Holidays sales of 2019 even the all mighty Walmart didn't have this tv at this price.

Easy set up and great value for the money. If your looking for a non 4K tv without all the bells and whistles this is a great option. Got this for my dad who would never use apps or special options and it did the trick.

Basic TV. No bells and whistles but if you're on a budget this is for you. I got it for $169. I've been dealing with a small TV since my LG died. Colors good and the sounds not bad either. You could do worse. No regrets.

I was able to pick up two of these units for $150 each when Best buy had them on sale a few weeks ago. I use them excusively with Zwift, hooked up to my Apple TV. The colors and detail aren't as good as my current Samsung 1080p TV that I bought a few years ago, but for the price I paid, only $150 each, they are an awesome value! I wanted a cheap large TV for my Zwift setup (road bike and treadmill), and these TVs worked out wonderfully! The only small issue is, the sound takes a few seconds to turn on, when the TV first turns on, or you switch the video source input. This is not a deal breaker of course, but what do you expect for only a $150 TV? I would definitely buy these TVs again, even if they cost $200 each. Great value for what you get! By the way, it's a huge bonus, that I can connect them to my Windows computer, using the VGA input, built into the TVs.
