For the price, it's hard to beat this one. Large screen, excellent picture, good sound, extremely easy to set up. I deducted one star for the HDMI ports being on the bottom of the TV. Hanging on a wall, it's impossible to hide the cables completely. We solved the problem by purchasing 2 L-shaped HDMI adapters for eight bucks. If I had known, I would have looked for a different TV with ports on the side or back, like the one it replaced, but the adapters inexpensively resolved the issue.

Excellent price, very good picture quality, easy to use. For the price, it’s hard to imagine getting a better deal on a 50 inch. My only disappointment and it wasn’t a big one but kept me from awarding the TV the full five stars, was that this is not a smart TV. As I happened to have a spare Apple TV on hand, I easily connected it to the TV and can now stream all my favorite shows. Very happy!

This tv was recommended to me by a friend who has the same one. The price is fantastic. I haven’t bought a new tv in years and I didn’t realize it would be this lightweight. I could pretty much carry it and install it by myself with my kid running around at my feet. Plug it in and it’s ready to go. What surprised me is that the tv comes with a ton of free tv channels (not normal cable channels). It’s called Samsung TV plus and it boasts itself as being completely free, no strings attached. There are movies, tv shows, and a vast vast array of tv channels for every type of person, even niche like Japanese game show, forensic files channel and video game content channels. Streaming, video, content apps are easy to set up. Samsung has pretty much all of them... You can arrange the order of them.

Easy to navigate, picture quality is great! Only 1 thing: Westinghouse design of the plug-ins (HDMI) is really odd! They are on the bottom rather than on the side or front, so you have to set the tv with the included little legs on something so that the middle part of the tv is free. I had to get two stools so that I could plug in my firestick, otherwise you cannot plug it in. Other than that I really like this TV.

It was an easy assemble. The only issue was it took days to sync the cable remote with the TV so it could control the volume and on/off button.....other than that it's nice. Picture and sound are very good. Very good for the price. Very inexpensive

Great low cost option. We purchased a few of these to setup gaming stations in a rec room. Super lightweight and enough connection options to hook up multiple items. Picture is clear and colors pop.

Very pleased with the quality and simplicity. Great picture, very sturdy, and good volume. Could not ask for a better value. Really easy to set up with roku also.

I wasnt expecting very high quality for the price. I just needed a basic( not smart )TV that would have a decent picture. So I figured I'd have to do alot of set up and my favs manually which is so time consuming and a pain. But this tv turned on and connected me to everything my apps etc and gave me everything I wanted in future too. Looks great pixels wise and easy to use. Thanks for such a great product for 199. It was a huge gift. Only reason i found review is I'm trying to buy my daughter one too and this popped up.

this is a great TV (not smart) with great picture & sound. I bought it for my mom's new tv room & it looks great in there. Can't beat the price & Westinghouse tvs have been good for me for years. Smart edition is like $60 more, but we had a firestick, so there was no need for that.

Purchased this TV and so far it's great! Easy to pick up as it's way lighter than my older flat screen. Picture is great, sound is great. No problems! Bought on sale too so saved $$$$$ :-)

This is my second time owning this brand of TV, & I must say I am very satisfied. (I've had the other for over 4 years, & it's still working well). The sound quality is great & so is the actual picture. You can't beat it for the price & overall value for this sized TV. I'd definitely recommend purchasing this TV!

Overall a nice TV, if you're not looking for a Smart TV. The only issue I had was a damaged screen on delivery, and had to return it to the store. They didn't have these in stock, so I had to wait another 5 days for a new TV to be delivered. That one arrived in good condition. Has all of the hook-ups you need - cable, antenna, VGA, HDMI. I'm able to use if for TV, have it attached to my desktop for gaming (it's huge), and attached a Chromecast to watch Netflix and Hulu. Worth the price if you're not looking to get a techie TV.

I caught this tv on sale and was quite impressed with the picture quality and sound. Much better than I had expected! Clear picture, sound doesn’t distort even when my teenager turns up the volume. Easy to set up. Very happy with this purchase.

New Living Room tv. We wanted one that was HD but not a smart tv and this one works perfect with our Roku! Very sleek, crystal clear picture, great sound, and simple to operate. Excellent value for the money. We ordered online and did curbside pick up and it was as smooth as could be. Highly recommend!

I purchased a westinghouse TV years ago from BJs for my living room (38 inches), and having spent so much time at home recently, I realized it was way too small for the space. This 50" did just the job, with a very clear HD display. I tend to keep the settings on "warm" not to strain my eyes at night. While most people would opt for a smart TV, I kept running in the concern of not being able to update the user-interface since TV companies are in the business of providing a TV, not up to date softwares. I didn't want to spent too much, especially since I had just gotten a new AppleTV (4th gen), and $200 for a 50" display sounded perfect! I have added some of those smart LED lightstrips in the back of the TV. The sound quality of this TV is okay - not the greatest (and the same was the case for my 38" - it can easily go from too low to too loud with one notch) so I have paired it a Bose soundbar which was such a great buy ("open box" from Amazon). All in all, a good bang for my bucks!

i was amazed how light it is. It has a great picture . I got 5yrs. of insurance with the Geek Squad on it at a very reasonable price. However there is not enough information on this television manuale to address problems I have with it. It does not tell information on programs It pops in and out a lot I didn't know of additional fees charged($145.00) to calibrate it till after I bought it. Had I known before purchase that this was a necessary i would have been allowed made a better ther is probably some wonderful features that I can't axcess because I don't know how

awesome tv ! for the price it was onsale for you cant beat that ! the image is great ! and very light weight took me 5 min to get it going ! if you see this item onsale i recomend getting it ! i use it for video game play and watching movies (for the man cave )haha

I LOVE MY WESTINGHOUSE 50" T.V. IT IS USER FRIENDLY AND THE QUALITY OF THE PICTURE IS GREAT. I ALSO ENJOYED GETTING IT AT THE PRICE THAT I GOT IT. IT WAS WORTH IT. IT ARRIVED ON THE DAY IT STATED IT WOULD AND THAT'S A PLUS. ALL N ALL, IT'S A GREAT T.V.

The quality of the picture and sound is really good especially for the price. I wish it was a smart TV though but I got a fire stick with it so that helps a lot!
