Excelent smart Tv 4K good resolution ando good price

I had issues from the start, however thanks to Best Buy’s protection plan, I was able to replace the tv every time something went wrong. There were multiple issues with the screen and image display. As well as issues with apps.

Long story short. First Westinghouse tv I bought had an issue with it within the 1st month. While watching Netflix the screen would go white with vertical lines. Could still hear the show in the background. Had to unplug and plug back in to get picture to show again. Just started running those things off of game systems. Had the geek squad come out. Found out they no longer make parts to fix this tv. Second tv (thought maybe first tv was a fluke). Same issue with that one. Again they junked it out. While the tv itself was not bad - the features on it did not work properly and they have no parts to fix it. What I do recommend though is purchasing the geek squad protection plan. That saved a huge headache.

Do not waste your money on this hunk of junk. Along with so many other reviewers, this TV, barely over 2 years old is now a 50 pound paperweight. It started with videos reversing their picture, then came the freezing, then having to reset it 2 or 3 times a day, by unplugging it. This thing was a nightmare. I bought my son an Insignia around the same time, which had much more use, with no issues at all. Don't waste your money on this. I'm not even going to bother with contacting Westinghouse, based on the other reviews here, which state they treat their customers like garbage. Best Buy, please quit carrying this brand, for your customers' sake!

The sound is horrible n refresh rate sucks a tv good for people that have no knowledge on tvs

This Tv is not good specially when you turn it on it takes almost 1min. and the speaker is not quality sound.

TV failed in first 24 hours. Then, I was supposed to get a refund. After a week I called to discover no one processed my refund. Terrible product and POOR Service!

Don't be afraid of the name--Westinghouse is primarily owned by Toshiba. It's a great set. Performs very well.

4k is sweet....price was great...it is slow to respond to commands, but who cares?

This TV is not as good as the last couple of Westinghouse TV's I have purchased. Picture was jumpy and sound was below average

Basically, if you are looking for an entry 4k TV this is probably the best tv you can get for the price. Screen: compared to other 4k screens, it does fair well against them, but when you compare this against normal 1080p screens this tv just blows them away because of the 4k capability. If you are only planning to get this tv for visuals, this is definitely a good investment. Sound: Horrible, but for the price it is what you would expect. The sound is very tinny, and isn't strong at all. But with how most TV's are, most Tv's don't have good sound quality at all and investing in a separate sound system is a big recommendation. Smart TV functions: It is "smart" being that it has the youtube,netflix, hulu, and weather app. They operate fine but if you want a better experience just invest in a chromecast or firestick... Smart TV's are just not worth the investment. Overall, this TV is great if you acknowledge it's strengths which is: an amazing tv screen for a low cost. If you just want to get your feet wet in the world of 4k, this is an amazing buy for the price. But if you have the extra 300 dollars to spend, it would be wiser to invest in the TV's sold by Vizio, Sony or Samsung. Side note: When I received the TV there were white clouds on the TV that could be spotted when the screen was showing a black screen. You can literally just wipe them away (kind of like air bubbles). Just apply a small amount of pressure with something soft and just push the clouds to the edge of the screen and you'll be fine.

Picture is marginal at best. After six and a half months picture no longer worked at all. Buyer beware Westinghouse does not stand by their product and will expect you to ship it at your cost and send you a refurbished unit back doubling the initial cost of the television purchase. 4 months later still waiting on resolution.
