This review is in light of the Black Friday price of $250. At the regular listed price, I'd definitely knock off a star. Pros: -Thin form with a pretty small bezel -Decent picture quality and great size for the price -Pre-loaded apps function pretty well -Accepts an HDR signal (although only 8-bit color) -Adequate for most gaming; no noticeable input lag or motion blur Cons: -Cheap remote with receiver line-of-sight issues -Lack of user-options and settings -Not true HDR (only 8-bit color), poor nits and a little wonky with certain signals -Terrible speakers (although at this price a sound-bar is a no-brainer) Overall, pretty happy with what I got for the Black Friday price. But at $400, I'd probably drop down to 55" and look for a higher quality set.

Great television. The picture quality is 9/10. It is very thin and light. Very easy to set-up the tv and the settings. Speakers are decent, not the best. But for the price, they're not bad at all. The only con is the limited amount of streaming apps that come with the smart feature but most people have a streaming stick anyways.

    Why not Westinghouse?

We wanted to upgrade to a larger TV from my 39" Westinghouse that was about 6 years old. Still in excellent condition, nothing wrong just wanted to go about 10-15" larger. My husband was looking at the Samsung TVs that were about $100-$200 more and smaller. We currently have a 32" Samsung in our bedroom, which has dead pixals and lines running down the screen, I suggested we stick with Westinghouse and get the cheaper TV. There are small issues, but I think every TV will have things you do and don't like. The remote works better with the TV mounted, as well as the sound. We have a sound bar but have not hooked it up yet. Enjoy having Netflix handy with a push of a button. The picture quality is excellent. Very happy with our purchase overall. PS the Samsung is being taken out of the bedroom and being replaced with my old Westinghouse.

    For $250, it's a deal!

We bought a new Samsung about 6 months ago and while yes this TV only has about 6 apps (2 of which are social media) including Netflix and YouTube, its almost as good! Picture quality is fairly similar (I give it a 4 out of 5) and the sound was decent (3.5 out of 5) but for the black Friday price of $250, it's a great deal! Nice big screen, good picture and decent sound. Definitely worth the price.

I read a a lot of these reviews and a lot of people are mistaken on this product. They complain about the sound and the resolution. Well I have a samsung 4K 50’ tv and this Tv is honestly just as good! I love this Tv and will be keeping it and selling my Samsung. The only downfall is the controller it is not the best you have to aim it perfectly at the sensor which is located on the left side of the tv for the imputs. Other than that it’s amazing! Don’t be filled worth the money!

While the sound leaves some to be desired, this was the highest rated 58" I found in this price range. The picture is awesome for what I'll use it for. I don't play games or surf the internet on TVs. The only app I'll probably use on it is Spectrum because then I don't have to pay for additional cable boxes, all I'm gonna use it for it to watch TV. The Best Buy rep told me straight - if I'm looking for something that'll compete with other TVs that cost 2-3 times more and give me the best 4K experience, this won't match them. But for what I want it for, which is basically to watch TV, it'll do great. Totally satisfied with this purchase.

Good Lord, I ordered this TV during the pre Black Friday sales and got it for $249.99, plus $15.00 tax. I received it on Sunday from the delivery folks which was a plus. They brought it up to the top floor. I opened it up barely by myself. Very easy to assemble. Like folks said, it's kinda heavy but I push it up onto the bed and maneurvered it onto the dresser. It took me awhile to play around with the TV colors and hooking up my BOSE speaker. I must say for $249 you can't beat a TV this size. I don't feel like leaving my house now. I can't wait for it to go on sale again, will get one for my living room. I don't too much care about the apps, I have an NVIDIA shield box for that. Great TV.

Love it but mine has issues

Picture is beautiful and sound is kinda bad but it isnt a deal breaker. I am having issues with the display, after a few to several hours the TV will go black but still be backlit and with sound. I have used multiple HDMI cables and all hdmi ports but on my new xbox one x it will happen everytime. Tried another xbox one x and still happens. My xbox one s in 1080p never does this. Not sure if just watching TV on the smart apps does this black screen yet. It can be fixed by simply turning the tv off and on or changing source to hdmi2 and back to hdmi1. Tried all setting and cant fix it. Doubt there is a firmware update yet. Will be exchanging this tv to see if this fixes the issue.

    Awesome Picture, Very Versatile TV

This version has all the connectivity options. VGA (Supports 16:9 HD1080 and others) with a PC Audio in, HDMI ARC (1), HDMI(2) TOSLINK audio, RGB composite, Coax (cable TV or antenna), sub-mini headphone (turns off speakers) and USB 500mw. It does not have an analog audio output, just the optical TOSLINK. Great picture sourced from Computer, Blue Ray, and Tivo Bolt+. Just awesome. Had no problems syncing to Computer VGA at 1920x1080 after a few seconds of auto-adjust from the computer. It comes with legs but I didn't feel comfortable so it's wall mounted now.

Bought this tv on black Friday. I was skeptical at first but the picture quality is good. Sound is subpar so I'd get a soundbar and I also get a roku also and you have a good tv

This is a very nice tv for the price. The large screen is perfect and the colors are very good. The sound isn't the best but it works fine for me. The quality is not bad especially again for the low price. I would recommend this tv to anyone.

There are two issues I am concerned about. Does anyone else have a problem with certain Netflix shows appearing very dark? It seems to be only on Netflix, and only certain shows. I tried adjusting the settings and it doesn't help. Also the sound is a bit muffled. The TV is awesome except these two concerns.

Paid $250 on Black Friday for TV. Didn't expect much because of the very little cost I paid for it. But I expected the TV to at least work and provide a nice, basic picture. First one remote control IR sensor didn't work right so I had to do jumping jacks and felt like I was playing the game Twister to try and get any remote control to work with this TV. It has to be aimed perfectly at a certain spot to work. Opted to try another one in case this TV was defective. 2nd TV shows up a week later. Super slow and disappointed in Best Buys idea of making this right. 2nd TV does not turn on at all. During all of this I contacted Westinghouse to get their take on the situation. They could care less. They said that it would take 3 to 4 months to refund me or send a replacement. Best Buy's stance according to their delivery driver Corey. Is these TV's are junk and sold on Black Friday for $250 for a reason. They can't keep up with the returns because most of them are going right back. With all of this said I will not be getting a 3rd replacement. Westinghouse is just a name slapped on defective TV's. Any positive reviews I believe are fake or they have not used the TV long enough to understand just how bad they are. Good luck if you buy this. You are on your own.

Nice everything, run fast. Only turn on / off, you need to hold the power button of remote for 2-3 seconds, don't just "press" it and release.

Picture is great, but sound is HORRIBLE! It sounds like you are listening through an old clock radio from the 70's. It has a metal like echo which is horrible to listen to. We've tried every setting possible on the tv to fix it too, nothing helps.. We are going to buy a sound bar to use. Another reviewer said that is the only way to fix it. No wonder it was so cheap!
