I Love Everyrhing About The Tv! Has so many apps already on it

I purchased this TV during the Black Friday sale! It cost me only $250! I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. The picture is great the size is phenomenal. It’s sleek and it went up fairly easy. The Smart TV functions are nice, as I don’t require many apps. The apps provided are the ones I use most. My only issue is the remote. You have to press so hard on the buttons and point it directly at the TV. I am going to try and synch the TV with my cable and hopefully I won’t really have to use it. I connected the TV to my soundbar and subwoofer and I feel like I’m in a theater! My own home theater. I would definitely recommend this TV to a friend. I’ve only had it for a short time but so far so great!

its a budget tv.. you get what you paid for. not bad

This TV has a gorgeous picture. I have viewed some ultra HD and Blu Ray videos on it and it is beautiful. That said, I haven't viewed any 4K videos yet... but I will in the coming days. Moving on, as others have pointed out, the remote is spotty but I discovered that this is because the IR reciever is only on one side (the right side instead of the middle) so you have to point it there to get responses. If you do that, it works everytime. Moving on to the next issue others have brought up, the speakers... they really are that bad. Very bad but I guess those are the corners you cut in trying to deliver a 4K TV for cheap. Fortunately, I bought a 700 watt stereo system too and with it hooked up to that, I have negated the speaker issue. But please be aware that if you are putting this TV anywhere other than a bedroom or small room, you will definitely need an external speaker. In regards to the apps, there are only 5. There is no Hulu, Amazon Prime, Sling, or Direct TV. Fortunately, my kids mostly watch Netflix and YouTube which are two of the inlcuded apps along with Pandora, Accuweather, and Vudu, but if you plan to watch more than that, be prepared to add a Roku stick, Fire stick, or other streaming stick to this TV. Even so, I see what Westinghouse did. They included one movie app (Netflix), one music app (Pandora), one internet video app (YouTube), one weather app (Accuweather), and one video rental app (Vudu) so, really, all your bases are covered. The issue, of course, is that most people watch or use more than one of these in each category. There is a software update menu option so maybe there will be some support for app additions down the road. I wouldn't bet on it but it is there so it's a possibility. Another issue noted by some, screen bleed, has not surfaced on my set. Overall, while this TV has some shortcomings, at the Black Friday price of $249, they are more than acceptable. Admittedly, though, at its listed regular price ($399), there are better options for less than $100 more. But, again, at $249, this TV is a definite bargain. If you are coming from another 4K TV, this TV might not be right for you, but if you are coming from a 1080 or 720 TV, this is a moderate to huge upgrade in picture quality. Note too that the menu options leave much to be desired as there are few options worth adjusting and even fewer that actually help. That said, they do have a surround sound option (which is crazy for a TV with such terrible built-in speakers) that actually works well on my connected stereo system. Go figure. I guess they kinda knew they'd whiffed on the speakers so at least built in surround sound for the speakers people would inevitably need. And while Westinghouse is not a huge player in the TV market, they at least have tenure being one of the oldest TV makers around having been founded in 1886. I guess that's gotta count for something right?

I should have known since the price is too good. The control hardly works. The picture is not great. Watching football on it sucks.

I have no idea why the tv does this...but the screen goes black in the middle of a show. You can still hear the words, but can't see the picture. I have to turn it off and on to get the picture to show up.

I bought it 2 hours away from the house,unpacked it, and found it missing the remote control, papers and hardware. (new in box). BB didn’t have another one in the state and I had to drive back to the store I bought it from. Since it was missing parts the local BB wouldn’t take it back. Waste of time. I used my 10% off coupon and the tech said “well you will get another one next year”. I’ll live with my 10 year old Sony for another year.

You get what you pay for. This TV is freezing, and it simply does not exist in the Westinghouse Support site. Cannot even register the product, the site won't recognize the serial number. I may have to return it to the store. It was very cheap ... but it's a pretty bad product.

screen broken in the box. couldn't be replaced because it was discontinued. terribly disappointed as was a gift. didn't mention that it would be discontinued when it was purchased.

I brought the tv in November 2018 and it dead two days ago. Tv only lasted for two years.

Had it less than 3 months and it quit working. I would not recommend this to my worst enemy let alone a friend!
