TV works great. No issues with operation. Buyers will need sound bar or other external speakers.

Speakers are not great, it definitely needs a Soundbar

First day Smart TV apps would not connect. Called Westinghouse and they simply said that it couldn't be fixed and to return it for a refund. Customer service was apologetic .Also the picture didn't seem right. Anyways i returned it and got a Samsung 58" for $50 less and the picture is outstanding! and everything works great. Would like to add that Best Buy customer service was great, the phone rep found me the Samsung without me even asking her to look for another tv

the installation was excellent and the TV is very nice with good price.

The picture shows great, however, the sound quality is not so good. There is a ringing sound when the television is on and it is so annoying.

That back light works so it's better than broken Vizio other than that JUNK

Cheap parts put into this TV from this company. LED bulb dies out within a month of use, was able to return it through their warranty. Would not recommend buying, go for a much higher end brand. Westinghouse is cheap.

This tv didn't work from the monment it was setup and powered on we never got a picture the per light would come on but nev ER a picture

The picture is great, it's a very light TV to mount. But the sound is an embarrassment to Westinghouse! The sound has no power, and sounds as if voices are coming out of a tin can. It would be more helpful for the sound to have numbers instead of a slide bar. Fortunately we had purchased a sound bar, . otherwise it would have been boxed up and back to Best Buy!! Therefore, I can only give it 2 stars. The audio is a joke!!!.

I'm writing this review because I am a person who reads reviews before buying pretty much anything. lol This TV has an awesome picture. We apparently have never owned a television with a good refresh rate because the picture is so clear and defined, by that I mean the characters were standing out (like 3D) that I was amazed. The sound does kind of suck. I've seen others refer to it as tinny, and that is pretty accurate. I bought a sound bar to go with the TV and we are 100% satisfied. I bought this on-sale and am shocked at the picture quality, especially with a price tag of $549 for a 60" TV. Concerning the remote, is only controls the TV. We bought a universal remote (a cheap one, $12 (and it works great). It controls the sound bar too. :-) Overall, great TV.

The TV is holding up great so far, the menu system could get some getting use to and also updated. The sound quality is average for what it is, but would recommend getting a sound bar to improve the sound. Great overall product!

I was given this TV as a gift new. It was delivered to my home and was easy to take out the box. It lasted 45 days before the screen had a red vertical line appear. Westinghouse provides warranty coverage, but it was a headache. It requires sending proof of purchase and serial number information. Why? They don't fix or replace this model and will provide a refund IF you send proof that you recycled the TV along with proof of purchase. Now this is fine if you have money to buy a new set right away to get Best Buy's free haul away with recycling. Now if you have to wait for the check then you have to find a recycling center to get a receipt from. For me it was hard trying to haul a 60 in. TV to a recycling center that is not nearby. I'm getting the LG Ultra HDTV and will get the haul away service needed for the Westinghouse refund. The good thing is you can send docs via email for refund. I'd NEVER by another Westinghouse product. If you go the cheap route with this set then get Best Buy's warranty. At least Best Buy handles the haul away and gives you the complete value in the form of a gift card.

Best Buy delivered and installed this Westinghouse, and I had it back in the box and driving back to the store to return it within 20 minutes. The speakers skinned like they were playing through a tin can. I'm not sure how this TV can pass as 1080p, because it was very unclear and pixelated. My 720th LCD that I was replacing had a much better picture. Don't buy Westinghouse!
