This slicer can literally do it all when it comes to vegetables. Clean, crisp cut every time!

I spent the extra hoping this would be good for potatoes, and other root vegetables... it was not. I used it to julienne various root vegetables and the blades dulled after making the one recipe. It's sturdy and is good for onions, tomatoes, zucchini, etc... but the blades are already dull. Really disappointed in this product. It seemed like it was going to be real quality. Another side note; adjusting the thickness of a slice is a little tricky. The body of the slicer is well made so it's why I give it 3 stars... it is definitely better structural quality compared to plastic versions.
