this is a really fun game. its great coming up with different ways to kll the enemy, in which this game gives u that ability. i love the retro-ness and old school look to it. it definitely gives it flavor that way. I love the combination of gun and sword attacks this game allows you to perform. It reminds me of a cross between prince of persia and max payne, or soemthing to that effect. only thing that bothers me about it, is the reload checkpoints when u mess up on a mission and have to try again. other than that, it is a extremely fun game.

Wet is a mish mash of: John Woo's Stranglehold, Devil May Cry, Mirror's Edge, The Club, House of the Dead (Wii) and Killer 7 (GameCube). Seriously, if you played all the games I just mentioned, Wet has extracted elements from each of those games. It's totally fun. You never run out of bullets and you just keep slashing and killing away trying to chain kills (which seems to be the popular goal in shooters these days: chain kills). Chain kill combos give you health (that and taking a fat swig of alcohol). The game has a nice grindhouse theater effect to it. The character development for the storyline is pretty pathetic. You don't know much about the main character that you're using other than she fires dual wielded weapons like Tequila does in John Woo's Stranglehold and is as agile as Faith in Mirror's Edge. Aside from that, it's fun after the first go round. You're probably looking at 6-9 hours tops of total campaign playing time. Is it worth $59.99? Probably not since it's so short. But it's definitely worth a play!

You play as a gun for hire whose name is Rubi Malone. She's double crossed and out for revenge.Rubi carries twin pistols along with a sword for melee attacks. She can slide, jump, run up walls, flip off poles all while shooting enemies in slow motion. There are also quick time events where she will have to jump from car to car on the freeway. There's even a event where if she gets blood on her face the screen goes to red and black and goes insane killing everyone and everything in sight. The graphics are not the prettiest, but I guess it works for some, but not on a next gen console. This game seems like it was inspired by Tarantino's Kill Bill movies with all the nick nacks intact. The music is also inspired by his movies. The voice work of Eliza Dushku is a bit repetitive, but the overall voice work of the cast is pretty good. The controls are a little weird at first, but you'll get the hang of it in no time. The AI is a little slow, some of the enemies look like their waiting to get shot at,some will duck out of your way,but then it's too late because when you target one enemy she shoots the other with the double targeting system. When she's low on health she will take a swig, toss the bottle in the air and shoot at it.The game last up to 8-9hrs but gets old really fast,I say rent it first before you purchase.

rubi is a hot hit women that is just a lot of fun to play with she has this amazing ability to have these acrobatic moves as she is shooting that slows time down while you duel wield your guns, accompanied with a sword for melee attacks. i would have loved more from this game cuz its so fun but not long enough, if you liked kill bill, oceans 11, and the crazy taxi soundtrack this is your game, this is an absolute blast i loved it and play it over and over again. if you play games like crazy when you get them and doesnt take you long to finish them than only rent it but i suggest for the price Best Buy is offering i say go out and purchase it cuz its a fantastic game point black period

I wouldn't say its a great buy just yet. Play the demo on xbox live and get an idea for the feel of the game and the temp first. The story line seems to be above par also.
