Customer Ratings & Reviews

Works as designed. However, I noticed if you use it with the metal rack inside, it will arc in the corners. This is a replacement and the other did the same and now that I have the same issue, I don’t think the old one was bad. Having the rack inside is not a big deal so I just don’t use it and have not had any further arching. If you want to use the rack, I suggest not buying this microwave. I bought the new one in Sept 2025.

I purchased this at a huge discount due to being an open box product. I have been more than happy with this purchase. It looks brand new, works perfectly, and matches all of my other appliances.

We bought this microwave to replace a slightly older model that stopped working. The wall brackets were compatible so installation was a snap. It works great and has plenty of features without being confusing.

We replaced our old microwave with this whirlpool it's quiet has all the features and heats up food better than our LG

Buying the Whirlpool microwave oven at Best Buy was easy and straightforward. Order online, pick up at the store, easy installation, and it works very well.

We replaced our old microwave with one with the same features because we were satisfied with it. The microwave has all the features that we need and use for the type of cooking we do.

Remodeled our kitchen and added power for an over-the-range microwave. This matches the rest of our current appliances. Microwave works well and has plenty of space. The favorite feature is the popcorn sensing. Never have to worry about burnt popcorn again. We have had really good luck with Whirlpool appliances. Sticking with them for everything in our home.

We absolutely love this OTR Whirlpool Microwave. It's attractive with just the right amount of bells and whistles. The controls are easy to use; it's easy to clean. We've had it for 10 months and it has worked like a champ the entire time. (MUCH better than the GE it replaced--which kept blowing fuses in the door). Highly recommend.

I have had this installed for a couple weeks now. It was a replacement for another Whirlpool Over-The-Range microwave. The upside is that it was that as far as mounting it went, it was the exact same as the 10-year-old model it replaced. All of the microwave functions are similar and the unit itself probably weighed half as much as the old one so getting it up and mounted was easier. The downside is that this is a slightly lower grade model than the one it replaced because it does not have the connection bake function the previous one had. That should explain most of the weight difference between the two. Thus far the microwave works well so I have no complaints. The install was easy and the microwave does everything it should in about the same timeframe as the unit it replaced.

Replaced a 20 year old Samsung over the range microwave. The Whirlpool is much quieter and just as easy to operate. We love our new microwave.

Great microwave, looks good, easy to install, cleans up easy and easy to operate

Very modern looking stainless steel microwave & love the non-stick interior! Love that it is so easy to use!

This particular model had clean lines that we loved that also follow suit with the stove/range, refrigerator and dishwasher that all look great in our kitchen. This microwave is an over the range model. Geeks brought all of our appliances, installed them, (did a great job of it!), brought needed parts, and hauled our old ones away. So glad they had those services! The microwave was a bit tricky removing the old one and adapting to make changes for installing our new one. Micro itself is easy to use. We are people that do not like so many features that we end up never using. This one is user-friendly.

It is perfect for my kitchen. I didn’t want a handle on my microwave but I was unable to find one in stock. But this one is working out perfectly.

Lots of features and options ,fast heating , cooking . Nice looking unit. Quiet operation .Perfect size .Easy to clean interior.

attractive; works well; easy to use; a very good price

This was definitly an upgrade. Love the look and works well.

easy to install with good instructions. looks great with stainless finish. Easy to use with very nice features like extra shelf.

This microwave is loaded with great features and looks sharp! My only problem was with installation. The templates aren't exactly accurate. I ended up using the measurements given in the instructions and tossed the templates. Also, the nuts on top of the microwave for the top bolts pop out too easy. Had to take the 1st microwave back out, return it to store, wait another week for replacement to arrive, carry up upstairs and sure enough... the replacement microwave did the same thing while trying to thread the bolt in. The clips that hold the nut need to be stronger.

Beautiful and works great. Easy to operate and clean
