Purchased this microwave about a month ago. Installation was fairly easy. Features a variety of useful one touch cooking options. Only complaint thus far is the tones are limited to on/off. There is no variety and ability to control volume.

After 6 years my old Whirlpool microwave blew out (suspect magnetron as it wasn't the cheap fuse to replace). Anyway, I shopped Amazon and a number of other sites before finding this model at Best Buy. It has sensor cooking and performs very well. The best feature is the price, especially compared to other sites and stores which listed it for more than $260. By buying the Whirlpool I was also able to install it with the old bracket in place, saving a lot of time and frustration.

After reading the online review we decided to purchase this microwave. Overall we are very impressed with the features that it has to offer and it's a great addition to our kitchen.

I did a whole lot of checking around as far as manufacturers and retailers selling the products. I like buying products made in the USA and Best Buy sales personnel were able to answer all my questions.

I research all my purchases extensively, and this microwave seemed like the best choice in the price range. It then went on sale, making it even better. I'm not very picky, so the only thing that is a slight issue is the tone at the end of the cooking cycle or timer. It's pleasant enough, but not loud enough. If you happen to have the fan on and aren't standing real close, you likely won't hear a thing. Not a big deal, but wish there was volume control, or just be louder.

Straightforward installation, easy to program, looks and works great

Installation was smooth. I was replacing an older Whirlpool microwave that was the same size and, as I had hoped, it has the same mounting bracket and bolt locations. Works intuitively. Haven't tried anything with the steam sensor yet, but all the normal functionality you would expect from a microwave is here and easy to get to. Cooks well.

We bought this to replace the LG that we pulled the handle off of. The Whirlpool is very quiet and it heats evenly. Instead of annoying beeps when it is done, there is a far more pleasant tone. It is quiet, easy to clean, easy to operate and a vast improvement over our previous microwaves. Love it so much that I just bought a Whirlpool dishwasher.

We have only had it for a couple of weeks, but I love it. It is my fist experience with an over the range microwave, and I'm really enjoying it. The vent it's a little noisy, but I feel that expected for a vent. My only real complaint so far is the placement of the range light underneath. It is at the back of the microwave so it doesn't light the range very efficiently. I love the sensor cooking technology, the buttons are easy to use and understand, and it does not have the annoying quick start buttons. I feel the cooking options are easily understood and all seem practical for everyday cooking. It is very spacious, and the cooking rack is a handy option. The finished cooking beep is a good volume, stops when you open the door, and will keep doing reminder beeps until you open the door. This is a great feature in my opinion. No more forgetting food in the microwave or listening to annoying/loud/unnecessary beeping.

Purchased this to replace a 2 yr old GE microwave that crapped out on us. My wife and I really like this microwave! The door open and closes easier than the GE. It is quieter, especially when running the fan. The build quality seems solid and it was easy to install. Would highly recommend!

Fits well above the oven in existing space where old microwave was. Needed minimal modification of space to fit well. Geek squad team was most knowledgeable and cheerful during the installation process. They provided excellent communication beforehand as well and would highly recommend. The microwave itself is beautiful and its built-in light works adequately. The microwave is slightly less powerful than my other, older model, so keep that in mind when doing your cooking. A rack included in the purchase of this appliance can be placed at mid-level to double your microwaving capacity if needed, just remember to increase your cooking time. You WON'T be able to do a turkey and warm up a meat loaf simultaneously; there just isn't enough space obviously, as it's not a Tardus. The controls are well lit, nice font, and easily legible; they all work as expected, are intelligently designed, and laid out logically. The 30s button is my fave. A low-level chime sounds when heating is complete which may be too soft if you're in a noisy household or are hearing-impaired.

Picked up this bad boy after the first two were dropped by our UPS guy. Works very well, and the fan has multiple speeds without being too loud. Runs 500 CFM, which not all range top microwaves could get near. Two racks on the inside and tons of features I will never figure out how to use. Would recommend.

I love my new microwave! It's super quiet. It's very user friendly and all the commands are clear. First time my popcorn doesn't burn using the assigned settings. It's beautiful and efficient.

Microwave was a great deal. Cooks very well at various cook powers and settings. Runs very quiet and installation was pretty simple. Template for the top mounting screws were backwards was the only problem but was caught before any holes were drilled or cut. Other than that, very satisfied.

This microwave is so large inside, you could cook a turkey in it. It's so easy to clean and everything heats up quick. It comes with a shelf. Handy when you are heating up multiple plates. It's a little larger than I wanted, but I got a great deal on it, plus free installation. Thank you Best Buy

This microwave works great. The price is good as well. The reason for four stars instead of five is the installation. I would recommend having them install because it can be difficult to install on your own. However, if you're handy, it wouldn't be as big of an issue. Just be sure you have someone there to help take the old one down and put the new one up when it's time.
