I was in the store and saw a couple of refrigerators discounted. I could tell someone had used it. It works great. The discounts is just what I needed, otherwise I would not have bought it. When delivered there was scratches I didn't see before that was covered by the sales tag, but still a great deal.

I have been trying for THREE YEARS to find a suitable replacement refrigerator for my small kitchen fridge that was purchased by a previous owner of my childhood home in 1989, and I was finally able to get this one after being told they could not guarantee delivery on multiple prior occasions when I was ready to buy. Delivery was postponed once after I ordered it, which I did not appreciate, but it was delivered on time without any further delay after that one postponement, which I appreciated. And it exactly what I needed! So I am again a satisfied Best Buy customer.

Thus far I’m loving having this as a second refrigerator….it works great…pretty quiet. 1 thing to note if using this in the garage like I am don’t freak out when the outdoor temps dip and the fridge stops running thats normal….all in all this is a great fridge….serves my purposes well….

Delivery person took photos of dent . Told me to call to replace refrigerator . It should’ve been done right away for replacement. In order to get a new one I will have to take another day off and loose pay. Also their is a noise that I am uncomfortable with. Like knocking when freezer kicks in. I don’t even know what number or company to call. I would’ve been okay with a discount but then I started hearing the unusual noise

Better than Frigidare

After 2 years I could no longer live with the Frigidare that I had purchased. That one was noisy, wire shelves, few compartments, and totally disorganized. So far I love the Whirlpool. Seems like it is far more spacious, glass shelves, better organized and the freezer is even larger. It is so much quieter, and both the freezer and refrig. door close on their own. My other one very often stayed open, and I would come home to defrosted meat and ice cream. And the price was right. The Friigidare and Whirlpool are the same 18.2 size but the difference is like night and day. The handles on the Frigidare broke 3 times. Made of plastic. It was black, but my new Whirlpool is stainless steel, and the handles feel right. So far I am very happy with this new purchase. Only time will tell.

My old refrigerator was a Whirlpool, which was working well after 15 years, but NH Saves audit suggested I get a newer Energy Star model. I found that this Whirlpool was rated with a yearly cost of $49, far less than anything newer and fancier (mostly $60-$80 a year) and the cost $599.99, was far less than any of the newer ones, which were $1,000-$2,500. Delivery was ok, but the guys were ready to leave without changing the door from right to left hinge. They finally did. They didn't raise the front legs so the door swings open and slams on top of my foot. The fridge drawers seem much lighter plastic than the old one and may break easier. It seems to hold more than my old one and is the same size, so better designed interior. I wish a gallon of milk would fit on the door like my old one.

Very good refrigerator for my mother for her small one bedroom apartment. Glass shelves and easy to clean frost free freezer. This was a great value for the money and set up and delivery was easy with Best Buy guys taking away old refrigerator. My mom is very happy with this refrigerator as it is easy to clean outside and inside also.

If you want a basic refrigerator without all of the "bells and whistles", I highly recommend this Whirlpool model. It cools/freezes well and is quiet. The icemaker can be added on easily if desired (I did not choose that option). There is plenty of space. The only small drawback is it does not have a light in the freezer. Also, the delivery persons were very professional and thorough.

Large fridge - works fine

Refrigerator is large - holds more items than a larger cubic ft fridge because of the way the shelves slip into the side holders, so containers are not blocked by shelf holders. However, the food can get lost, as it's hard to organize on these large shelves. So far (about a month), I have had no issues.

This is a perfect 2nd refrigerator for the garage, esp if you buy items in bulk from Costco. No frills, nothing fancy, but it's been working solidly over the past 4 months. I like the clear plastic shelves that are easier to clean compared to wire shelves. The transparent bins are deep, and it's easy to see what's inside, so nothing goes bad after it gets forgotten.
My only wish is having a light in the freezer that would make it easier to see what's inside. I wasn't aware of this before I purchased it.

Replacement for a whirlpool

I was looking to replace a Whirlpool refrigerator that was leaking. I was pleasantly surprised to find this one was almost identical with the exception of being an inch deeper and smaller vegetable bins to the previous one. An important feature was the glass shelves making it easier to clean. Since it is being used by one person, the interior size works. As the purchase was for someone else, I gave it 4 stars as she wants to see how it performs over the next few months.

Did a lot of research. Price was very reasonable. Was already aware that the freezer had to be set to the coldest setting. Found out that in order for items to stay cold in the refrigerator, the settings also have to be set to the coldest setting. After all the research I did, I am definitely satisfied with the purchase!

Purchased this item to replace my old garage refrigerator that was used primarily for drinks and overflow from my in-house fridge. I love that it has glass shelves. My old one had wire shelves and they would bow if too many heavy items were stored on them. This new refrigerator is room in the cold section and the freezer section. I like that it has the option to install an icemaker if I decide I want to later on. So far, I'm extremely happy with this product.

I love my new Whirlpool fridge. It's beautiful to look at and to experience!: The grand doors with very comfortable handles open to a spacious interior, that is wide and far! The freezer, also very spacious, is comfortably level to the user's face and for their arm. The interior is of clear beautiful shelves with retractable areas and effortlessly sliding large drawers. A daily lavish treat to own!

This fridge fit the space requirements and is well designed with a variety of shelves. The door shelves aren't adjustable, but they are efficienty designed.
The main fridge shelves are adjustable.
The outside is magnetic.
The freezer has a lot of room, but requires a lot of stacking. I got a small shelf to put inside to have more usable space.
