About 2 weeks after working fine, came down in the morning and found my frozen water bottles thawing out including about 7-8 frozen dinners. Called Whirlpool, suggested I raise the temperature higher from the recommended setting. It worked for again about 2 weeks. Yesterday morning, came down, same thing again, unfrozen bottles of water and 9 frozen dinners thawing out. Called Whirlpool again, this time told to turn off circuit breaker, wait 1-2 minutes and turn back on again. This was on 10/15/15; told service tech will come on 10/26/15. This morning freezer is freezing again. Whirlpool - what's going on?????

Our kitchen doesn't have space for big side-by-sides, etc. We went with Whirlpool and will never buy this brand again. It lasted exactly one day after the single-year warranty lapsed––almost as if designed to fail. Called repairman: said it was built with an internal plastic flap that's inaccessible and would have cost $300 to repair. Had that flap been made of aluminum or steel, no problem. But Whirlpool wanted this machine to fail. Looking for a QUALITY, DURABLE refrigerator that fits our space. The Whirlpool WRT138fzdw does not fill the bill.
