I like this Whirlpool refrigerator better than my old one, which was also a whirlpool. There’s more room in the top freezer and the refrigerator is organized better shelf wise.

It seems to function ok right now. The door will close by itself after opening which is a good feature in case I did not close it properly.

Is was just right for the small space I have in my kitchen.

So far I love it! Just need the handle swapped... next Friday!

Basic frig replaced energy hog. Extra for meat and drinks.

I was told the factory was aware of the freon leak in this model. Because it lost freon at such a slow rate ( over a 18 month period) nothing was done about it. The warranty runs out after a year. So if you didn't purchase the extended warranty, you're plum out of luck and 800 dollars. Would have cost me an additional 400 dollars labor to have the thing fixed. The factory offered to send me the part for free. Thanks a lot.

Bought in January 2021. This fridge worked well for a few months and then started having issues. Eventually it stopped cooling altogether. AUGUST, I scheduled service through Whirlpool's website and a 3rd party repair shop came to my house to troubleshoot. They determined there was no refrigerant left in the system, and they re-charged it with UV-refrigerant which will slowly leak out, but let them see where the leak is. They told me they would order parts and come back when they arrive. DECEMBER: Four months passed and I emailed them for a status update, and they still hadn't received parts. MARCH: Emailed again for a status update and they told me still no parts, and Whirlpool told them if they didn't have parts in the next 4-6 weeks then they would contact me. So I have had a fridge that is barely a year old and haven't been able to use it for seven months.

This was needed for a smaller kitchen space that limited the choices available. The refrigerator has glass shelves and door bins for storage.

The freezer won't get below 6°F. The freezer should be 0°F or below. The freezer door won't stay closed. Everytime the refrigerator door is closed the freezer door pops open. The construction on this 18.2 Cu. Ft. Whirlpool refrigerator is poor. The exterior side panels of the refrigerator are wavy and not flat and the insulation on the doors seem insufficient. The doors became cold to the touch which indicates that the cool air from the refrigerator and the freezer are being dissipated through the door which keeps the motor running constantly. We returned this model for the 20.5 Cu. Ft. Whirlpool model. The 20.5 works great.

This is a great product and a must buy for almost anyone.
