Customers are enthusiastic about the 20.5 Cu. Ft. Top-Freezer Refrigerator, particularly its ample interior size and generous space. The overall performance, price, and decent capacity also receive positive feedback. However, some customers have noted the noise level and the absence of a freezer light as potential drawbacks.

We bought this fridge to replace my old one in the garage, so far so good. It’s the perfect size and had enough room for everything I need it for. Highly recommend.

Bought after intensive review of refrigerator ratings in Consumer Reports & on internet and many visits to stores to examine & measure models. --- Have had for 4 months. Very good refrigerator. Solid construction. Glass shelves (not plastic). I did not want a unit with huge door shelves intended to hold gallon size milk jugs which take away from interior shelves depth & this model has nicely sized door shelves w/o gallon storage. Took some experimenting, but good temperature control maintaining 33-37 degrees in refrigerator and 0 to -5 deg in freezer.
DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT.
-- However, did not give it 5-stars for following reasons: 1. temperature control dial is at front of of frog on a bulky housing that contains frig light & protrudes down from roof of frig compartment , partially obstructing top shelf space. The temp dial does not have click stops and brushing against it as you reach into frog can change temp setting. 2. Because of design and location of compressor & other components, the depth of bottom of frog compartment is shallower than higher up, & as result the chiller bins are severely restricted in depth to rear & don't hold a lot of meat, produce & fruit, etc. 3. Good refrig door shelves, as noted above, but only three adjustable shelves provided even though there is space for four. 4. The large freezer compartment provides lots of volume, but has only one non-adjustable shelf (wire, not glass). It ought to have two freezer shelves. I bought it w/o the optional ice maker, which I did not want, but It came without regular ice-cube trays & without special freezer rack for i.e. cube trays & no option to get them. (I had to supply these myself.) Also, no light in freezer compartment.
-- Overtall, a very good model that I recommend, but has the noted (for me) deficiencies, hence the 4-star rating.

This is the most 'roomy' refrigerator we have ever bought.
I really looked at a few, but liked this one the most.
I purchased this refrigerator ON LINE!
Bins hold a lot of 'stuff' Doors hold all liquids. Freezer is also
big. The freezer has a lot of room also.
The whole refrigerator stays cold--on normal.
The Enterprise people who installed this, were VERY
PROFESIONAL.

Freezer has no light. Extremely loud. Just feels cheap overall. Doors feel like they don't seal, but I think they do. Freezer shelves "leak," i.e., they aren't flush with sides and back so things fall off. If I'd known this, I would not have ordered it. So it goes with ordering online, sight unseen. Even if I'd seen this in-store, not sure I would have recognized the flaws.

Seems to work well but makes whiney, humming sound when running. Takes time to get use to. Also freezer shelf has a gap at the back large enough for a breakfast sandwich to fall through, about an 2 1/4", WOW! And freezer and fridge door shelf rack rails have gaps under them wide enough for all kinds of smaller items, such as a couple hotdogs in a baggy or even ice cubes in a baggy, to slide under and fall to the floor. Good price but needed more thought in design. You'd think after years and years in business these problems would have been recognized and avoided. It can be dealt with but could have and should have been made much more convenient.

The product is fine BUT I didnt know that a freezer could Not have a light. I overlooked that fact when purchased. So keep in mind this product has no freezer light. Had i noticed, i would have made a different purchase. Otherwise, it runs fine, keeps cool fine.

First of all, I'm a 72 yr old single male and I have been a very, very, satisfied, and loyal, Whirlpool customer for over fifty years. I bought a brand new Whirlpool washer and dryer in 1968. The washer worked fine until it rusted out and stared leaking, about ten years ago. I replaced the washer with another Whirlpool. As for the 1968 dryer, it still runs fine and I can dry 5 pairs of Levis in less than twenty minutes. This is my third Whirlpool refrig that I have purchased new during the last fifty years. I had no problems ever with the last refriges, The only reason I replaced them was to color coordinate my kitchen. The first one was white, never had any problem with it. The second one was almond, never had a problem with it. The third one, which I just bought is stainless steel. At my age, and the way Whirlpool appliances last, they will bury me before this refrig dies. Samsung, LG, Insignia, GE, all make both refrigs, and TV's. Read the reviews on their refrig's, YOU WON'T BUY ONE. As far as TV's go. I have had some LG, Insignia, and currently a Samsung. They have all been great, trouble free TV's. I just hope Whirlpool doesn't get into the TV business. Just keep doing what you do best. Keep making the BEST, affordable priced, appliances for the American people.

The fridge is basically what you pay for. It's doesn't have many frills but it's a solid choice. It's works great and does the job. It has more room than you would think. The shelving is a little different but after some moving around it works out nicely.

Like this fridge but it has had so much condensation inside and a bit of ice buildup in freezer. Tried to troubleshoot but to no success. It has been very humid here so there’s part of the problem, likely.
Now that it isn’t so humid, the condensation has dissipated.

Perfect refrigerator for us. We love the size, clear shelves and plenty of storage.

I love my new refrigerator. Since power outages ruined the one I had with extra features, I decided to go simple. I couldn’t be more pleased with the space inside and the ease of use. It’s beautiful and perfect, especially for an empty nester.

The factory settings are plenty cold. Lots of space in the refrigerator. Cover protecting light bulb is nice. The optional ice maker isn't as good as our old one, I've got to figure out why it only makes 5 cubes at a time. Clear bins for the door make it look a lot cleaner and bright.

I had to return the first one due to very loud while running & doors squeaking. Never cooled well either. Replacement much better, quieter, cool’s efficiently.

Does a great job of keeping food cool/frozen. Lots of room. Only thing that keeps it from a 5 is that it is noisier than the old refrigerator it replaced.

I've had the refrigerator for about 2 months and so far it works great. Fridge and freezer stay cold. I only notice that it has a humm noise when it kicks in at night and everything else is quiet. it's not loud, and I only hear it if I happen to be in the kitchen. My only complaint would be that the vegetable drawers are a bit narrow and the small cheese drawer is very small! I cant fit the same amount of food in it that I could in my old fridge.

my main concern when buying this refrigerator was making sure it would fit through the doorways in my house. I live in a 100 yr old house that has doors smaller than are normal in todays houses. this unit had the most storage area for its size of all the refrigerators I checked.
