ice maker stopped working

Do not buy. Poor customer service from whirlpool.

Would not cool and made horrible buzzing sound. Warranty repair replaced the compressor relay and stated that if there were further issues the compressor would probably need replaced. Broke again a month later and Whirlpool customer service is making us jump through hoops and restart the warranty repair process. No repair appointments available within a reasonable timeframe and will not order the compressor before another technician makes a diagnosis first. Whirlpool has horrible customer service practices.
