Conned into opening credit card for ten percent back. Only got 5%, with bizarre explanation of why I didn’t get ten. Heard similar stories from others. Never going back, should have bought from Costco, or Home Depot.

I LOVE this fridge! I've had it 2 wks now. I would've given it a 5 star, but Best Buy delivery was way outside 4:30-6:30pm window, delivery/install was 8-8:30pm. I did like the free delivery and haul away. Now the fridge; its great to open and see our food in front of us, the 3 clear drawers show my fruits, veggies and cheeses clearly and the lighting makes everything so appetizing and bright. This will be easy to clean. You can see the food, so no waste and non-spill shelving and clear drawers and bins easy to keep clean. 5 Door bins are adjustable, and the lowest, permanent, 6th door bin is deep enough for bulky jugs. The lowest shelf rests above the 2 clear bins across the width of fridge. Other 4 are adjustable and one has the cheese/meat drawer below. There is room for everything we need and then some. The freezer is a drawer and not a door that swings and I love that feature as it only requires some bending at waist no squatting to see what is in the rear as they both pull out. Also as a previous rater stated there's a divider on top basket that can't be removed or adjusted, that is not the case. I like to store tubs, frozen casseroles and meals in boxes in top basket. The bottom basket can pull completely out for refrigerator floor cleaning when/if it becomes necessary. It is divided in half and I love that, I have meat on one side and frozen veggies and fruit on other. Its motor is very quiet and efficient, doesn't come on much. I keep settings at '5' and its just right. All appliances were here when I moved in 13 yrs ago, and I'm planning on replacing the oven and dishwasher in this year as well. Dishwasher doesn't work. Going with Whirlpool. Just haven't decided on going with Best Buy yet.

Excellent usability with bottom freezer unit

We got the WRB322DMBM stainless steel version delivered/installed in early December. The unit fits our limited width 33" space just great. We'd had a WP side by side for 14 years and this bottom freezer model is much better for space utilization: the refrigerator top measures only 1 cu ft more but is much more flexible to use than the narrow side by side and while the freezer is actually 1 cu ft smaller it is better setup with two large baskets and ice maker. This unit is essentially a French Door model w/o the 2 doors so if you have the swing space it's about $600 less just needing one large door vs two. Some non-WP units do have an interior water dispenser however we never used that as much as the ice maker on our side by side and while it's not as convenient to scoop the ice from the bucket it's not a deal breaker.
I would have rated this unit a B vs the deluxe WP range we got but after using it over a month it's a sold B+ for our needs. Reliability is TBD, but the only problem we had in 14 years on our old WP was replacing the ice maker. Oh yeah, the plastic veggie and fruit doors appear to be the same low quality parts, but any moderately priced 'fridge up through a $3k Kitchen aid has the same junky drawers and door shelves, so be ready to spend $$ if you keep your 'fridge 10 or more years.

I bought this as an open box product at the store and so far so good! Works as it should, looks fantastic in our kitchen and fits perfectly! Very sleek design. I do not hook up the ice maker feature (I'm old fashioned!) so I cannot comment on how it works but otherwise a great find.

Whirlpool bottom freezer is great!

This refrigerator is the best! I have used this model since 1970. It has the most room and I always buy the same model. This is my sixth refrigerator like this. The wire baskets in the bottom freezer give you more room and make it easy to clean the bottom of the freezer.

I had the very same model before. I love this model. It is the perfect size for my kitchen and was no maintenance until it just had severe internal freezing problem. It could not be repaired. The bottom freezer allowed my grandchildren to get their own ice cream. The ice maker was great!

So Far So Good

Refrigerator just arrived this morning. First thing I want to say is that the delivery men were TOP CLASS workers! I cannot say enough positives about the 2 men who delivered the refrigerator. They were pleasant about reversing the door handle when I happened to notice that needed to be done. When asked, they said they had 17 refrigerators to install for today's work load! I hope Best Buy will take notice and give their laborers a well-deserved raise, because this kind of service makes your company look good. As for the rest of the purchase, it was okay---seems like an adequate refrigerator which is now loaded and running. I hope the future of this refrigerator is on the good side of the quality spectrum. However, considering how long appliances last these days and reading reviews from appliance repair men, I'm not overly optimistic. But so far, so good.

New Whirlpool Fridge

We are satisfied with our purchase of the Whirlpool bottom freezer fridge. We like the adjustable shelving, but we wish the drawer for the lunchmeat was larger. Also not a fan of the wire drawers in the freezer. I'll have to put liners in the bottom of the racks, or maybe plastic cutting boards for a more solid base on the racks.

I've had this refrigerator installed for a couple of months now and really don't have any complaints. It's nice a quiet and keeps things nice and cool. It is a bit of a fingerprint magnet though.

Needs a butter keeper shelf

This was the only refrigerator that fit our space that was available within 2 weeks of our need. We still had to drive 85 miles to pick it up. It works, looks good but has no butter keeper shelf. I tried to find one on-line, ordered one from Partsdr, had to send it back, didn't fit. It's the one major drawback for this model. I also wish the freezer had a solid bottom on the lower part of the drawer instead of the wire basket. Otherwise, it fills the bill.

Working well

I have been pleased with this refrigerator. This is my first bottom-freezer and I really like it. The two baskets in the freezer work well. If you purchase a lot of bulk frozen items, it could be a problem as space is limited. The unit does get a bit loud at times. It is louder than my previous side-by-side ever was but it isn't horrible. I do wish there was a water filter on the ice maker.

NOISY! Otherwise a good fridge
Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
Cons: This is a loud fridge. I don't have the icemaker hooked up, and the compressor is loud, period, much moreso than my 18-year old Amana that recently died. And it runs A LOT of the time -- I would estimate 60-70%. The sound is just short of over-the-top obnoxious, which might be why some reviewers say it's quiet; it might be fine for some people, but it's super-annoying in my small condo, and it drives me nuts. I've had it for 5 days and am exchanging it for an LG that has excellent noise ratings on Consumer Reports.
Pros: I'm reluctantly giving a second star because if you don't mind a loud compressor -- for example, if you are not noise-sensitive, or you're not in/near your kitchen much, or if this is for a garage, then it's a great fridge. I've only had it a few days, but it seems to hold temperatures well, and it's functional and attractive. The stainless steel front is magnetic.
It's too bad Whirlpool didn't put more effort into making this model a bit quieter with insulation or other methods -- I'd gladly pay 10-15% more for this same fridge but quieter!

Great Fridge, but noisy

I will say that I love this refrigerator's space and design. At the time, it was on sale for $400 off, so it was a steal. However, the one and only thing I do not like is that it can be noisy at times. I don't recall my previous fridge making this much noise. I feel like every 10 minutes or so you hear the fan kick on like an AC. My living room backs up to my kitchen and I can hear it from time to time. Other than that, I highly recommend it.
