This is my 3rd bottom freezer. First Whirlpool. Have had installed now for little over a month. Dropped the french door models with all its issues and sticking to the single door models. First- its quiet. Second - the temp control is as predicted when the compressors kick on (plus minus 1 degree is spot on). Next- had to change around shelving configuration - was easily done with both in-door and glass shelves. The drawers seem to be better constructed and easily slip on and off for cleaning. Easily moved fridge by myself-for accessing the back to clean intake screens. Nothing new but prior refrigerators were so heavy and wheels used said models were lacking made this task difficult.
Cosmetically- its much easier to keep clean and to keep _looking clean.
Only regret - the switchable handle leaves screws exposed on the unused side -simple, cosmetic. Truthfully have not yet contacted whirlpool to see if they have something to cover the screws.
Have no mechanical woes as of yet. Will update if and when we do.

Good functionally. Keeps everything cold and freezer works well. Doesn’t close easily. Makes noises intermittently. Difficult to keep the stainless steel clean and streak-free.

Works great and not too loud. The door seal is strong and hard to open. I’m sure it will get easier over time.
Disappointed that freezer drawer is wire basket instead of solid plastic like my last fridge.

I like this Whirlpool bottom freezer fridge overall, especially the amount of room up top and how easy it is to organize everything. I do wish I had picked a model with two upper doors instead of one large door, since that would make quick grab-and-go access a little easier. The other thing that bugs me is how the door swings all the way back if you let go of it, and I wish it had a built-in stopper to keep it from opening too far. Aside from those two things, it has been a good fridge with plenty of usable space.

So far, so good. The spaces in the refrigerator and freezer compartments are very practical. It is too early to determine the cost to run this appliance. The one quibble is that it is slightly noisier than I would have expected. By the way, the delivery crew was terrific!

Setup guys came and carefully handled and placed the fridge. It's working great and I'm happy with the price. Doesn't have a water filter but that's ok. There's lots of space in the fridge and it's neatly designed. Like the spill proof shelves and the fact that they are glass and not cheap plastic, so easy to clean.
Con are, fridge has one wide door so it opens up all the way if you don't hold it.
Fridge has small wheels at the bottom so it keeps coming forward every few days so we have to push it back. Not sure if theres a lock to stop it.
Exterior front build quality isn't there best but it's workable.

Really good refrigerator, Works perfect for our kitchen space We bought it because our old one died without noticing that something was happening to it.

We have had this fridge for a year now and love it! It does exactly what we needed it to. We wanted the ice maker but not the water dispenser for a cleaner look. My hubby is 6'4 and hated getting down in the bottom drawers of our old fridge. With this one i know if i ask him to check and see if we have something that he will actually look! Would 100% buy again!

I read quite a few reviews to be sure this fridge did what I wanted. Specifically, I wanted something quiet and not too fancy. The reviews were right - this fridge has a nice, bright interior, shelves are adjustable, large or tall items fit with ease. It is also true that the freezer "drawers" are baskets, and things can fall through the holes. It runs fairly quiet, and is more quiet after I turned off the icemaker. The front is still magnetic, which I love to display my travel magnets. It fits beautifully in my space (I have a fairly small condo, and the kitchen is open to the living area). Best Buy was awesome with their delivery and installation, I can't say enough about their service!

Not a bad unit, however the layout on my previous LG unit was better. Works great but almost impossible to adjust legs so door doesn't swing if you are not careful.

We bought this refrigerator to fit a smaller space in an older home we are remodeling. We are very satisfied with the design and the shelving. I have yet to run out of room. The door storage is superb, it adds a lot of capacity. The dual racks in the freeze are also great space savers. Overall I am very happy. Just wish Whirlpool made this size and design with a water and ice dispenser, but that would take away from the great storage in the door!

I really like this refrigerator. My family doesn’t use ice and we didn’t want an in-door ice water feature. The trade off is more room in the fridge. We also needed a narrower fridge to fit a space in our kitchen, and this model is one of the few very nice narrower refrigerators. Pros: So roomy! Great interior lighting. I can see everything inside the fridge and freezer. Nothing will be forgotten in a back corner. Cons: Maybe it’s a leveling issue we haven’t mastered yet, but the door will swing open so far it bangs against the wall if you open it too far. I put a clear silicone bumper thingie on our kitchen wall as a quick fix, but I wish there was a way to limit how far the door opens. Also, once you close the door, you have to wait 20 or 30 seconds before you can open it again. It forms a super tight seal for some reason. Despite the door flaws, this is my favorite fridge ever. It’s designed simply and practically and looks nice in my kitchen.

This is a large quiet unit that just filled my space in the kitchen. So far I
am delighted, the only noise is when the ice maker is working. Lots of room for everything but still figuring out what goes where.

I purchased this when my 20-year-old refrigerator gave out on me. I chose this to replace it and so far, I'm very pleased. It is quite roomy, having many shelves. The temperature control is spot-on and the cosmetics of it are very appealing. I would recommend this, giving it two thumbs up!

This is a no frills, no bells and whistles, keep your food cold and frozen food frozen basic fridge. Roomy is an understatement. If you're tired of having to search for stuff lost in your side by side fridge, this is the fridge to get. Initially I was looking for a french door until i tried this single door at the Best Buy showroom and I realized how much roomier it felt to pull things in and out of the fridge. And read Cnet and other consumer reporting reviews on this fridge, they are excellent. The only complaint are the veggie and fridge drawers: flimsy and doesnt feel solid. But besides this, I am very happy with the fridge. Oh and also, the freezer compartment felt a little tight but if you configure it right, you can make it sufficiently roomy for your frozen food needs.

I was disappointed with the cheap plastic drawers in the refrigerator. All 3 have cracked and one has an actual he in the bottom. Also, you have to do lay on the floor to reach the ice cubes that bounce out of the cube holder tray. I love the stainless steel--cleans easily. This is my first freezer on the bottom fridge and I really like that feature.

We have had the refrigerator for a little over a month now and are pleased with it. It is very spacious and runs quietly. I really like having the freezer on the bottom with the pull out baskets.

I really like this refrigerator. It is quiet. It has a smooth finish, which I love for cleaning. However, the sides are textured, and I find it odd that they are not smooth as well. 2 cons of this refrigerator: there is no butter door, the produce drawers do not extend the depth of the fridge. I didn't notice these in store, but even if I had, I don't think it would have made me choose otherwise. The main drawback of this refrigerator is the freezer and the fact that it does not fit a frozen pizza. I have a deep freeze so it is not a big deal for me, but if you are a frozen pizza lover and have no other option, you need to choose something else.
