The ice dispenser functions so poorly that this refrigerator/freezer is not worth purchasing. Whether you are getting the cube ice or the crushed - a good bit of the ice always ends up on floor. If you reach in to get ice manually , the ice storage bin is so deep that it is not very easy to pull a handful out. I really would have purchased a different unit had I known how messy and useless the ice dispenser is. The unit is also very noisy.

We desperately needed a new fridge after our old one gave out. Best Buy seemed one of the better options as they could deliver within days instead of weeks like their competitors. The fridge itself is nothing spectacular but does get the job done.

The storage in the freezer door seem a bit small. Other than that, 100% happy with this purchase. After 1-year of use, still no problems. I have not hooked up the ice maker. I have recently moved to a location with water plumbing, so I'll see how well the ice maker works in this fridge. Basic simple design, so no bells and whistles to short out.

This thing has a design flaw.. The ice maker makes a mess when used. The geek squad said to make a perfect seal with your cup on the dispenser and leave your cup under the dispenser for a few seconds when done to avoid ice falling everywhere. But the angle of the level doesn't really allow for that. You can't keep your cup that way and not be pressing the lever. Plus, now I have to inform everyone that' uses it (guests etc.) that my ice maker has special needs to avoid a mess? Also, the ice container fills up so full that it causes the ice at the bottom (which comes out first) to be fused together and in turn, get stuck in the ice dispenser. Sometimes impossible to gt out. Then you get to wait until it melts and slides out on its own , on to your floor. Awesome. It's lame how geek squad tells me that I have to make adjustments on how to use it rather than just admitting this thing is badly made. I will gladly buy a better fridge if they would just take this one back. I've never had these problems with previous ice makers, and judging by others review, I'm not the only one with this problem. At this point they are sending out replacement parts for this "new" fridge so we'll see what happens with that. Also, the water dispenser is loud and they ordered a new belt for that as well. And this is a new fridge?? I should add too that the water dispenser doesn't have a large reservoir for cold water... In fact, the water is barely cold. Other than that, it seems like a decent fridge, although the space has proved to be not alot once we filled it with the basics.

We really like the fridge. Despite the negative reviews this fridge works great. Its quiet and bright. The ice maker and water through the door seems to meet our needs. I'm very positive we will have this one for a very long time.

5 years into ownership this fridge has been nothing short of a trainwreck. The shelves have cheap plastic on the sides that started breaking only a year in. At this point all of the shelves sag due to the broken plastic. The ice maker has been replaced 3 times. The first time it broke there was some sort of short in the wiring harness that resulted in minor electric shocks when you would touch the actual ice making part. I couldn't recommend any whirlpool fridge after my poor experience with this unit. Especially considering how expensive parts are for it. After only 5 years we are replacing this unit due to all of the problems with it.

We're on our 2nd fridge. Must have been a bad batch. Condensation on outside of freezer door. 3 repairmen could not fix. Replaced & 2nd fridge has same problem. Want my money back. The ice also shoots across the floor...really hard to get in a glass. Neighbor is on her third fridge. Whirlpool needs to get its act together on this model.

I have no problems with this product. The filter is always available and getting replacement parts is easy.

Compared to other models for the space need, this one by far was perfect. The gloss finish looks amazing and can't see fingerprints..

During my life time I learned that buying products made by Sears is simply a waste of time and money. This is a great refrigerator.

This is the worst purchase ever! I should have bought the best buy warranty. I bought this frig in August and it stopped working in November. The Whirlpool warranty sent a repair service to fix it so I lost all my food and had to take a day off of work because the repair people only give you the service hours of 8-5. They fixed it and it broke 2 months later again same problem. Whirlpool won't give me a new one they will only keep replacing parts on this one . So I spend all this money on a frig that breaks every 2 months and costs me time off of work and groceries.

Stay away from this product unless 1) you dont mind half of the ice you're dispensing to fall onto your kitchen floor. 2)enjoy the sounds of ice cubes falling onto the floor in the middle of the night 3) you love freight trains, As that's what you'll hear while dispensing water 4) your 're good with hidden pools of water under the fridge, and the resulting mold garden 5) you like your hardwood flooring with a buckle Warnng Don't purchase this product Whirlpool WRS335FDAM unless the above apeals to you.

Ice maker sucks. Keeps breaking. Water isn't working either.

From the time I got the refridge delivered to this day nothing but problems and empty promises. The delivery guys scratched the refridge on the way into my house, as well as damaged my wall and floor board. A rep from Best Buy named Norma Jean contacted me and told me that they would review my damages...Never called me back. I sent pics of damage. The refridge is very LOUD !!!!!!! Still waiting for some type of resolution for my walls and scratches. NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER !!!

This product was okay, but the quality could be better, the overall features are not that great and the compartments are not that useful.

Wish I had known what a terrible product this is. We bought based on Best Buy reviews, but the fridge broke in less than 2 years. Simply stopped cooling. We came home to a fridge with a temp of 60 degrees. Took over 7 days for Samsung to bring tech to replace part and we had to pay for the repair. Absolutely awful product. Buy KitchenAid! We had a kitchenaid for years but didn't want to move it across the country and keep in storage, now I wish we had.

Sorry, I don't know why 2 years later after we bought this fridge we have a strobe light inside our fridge. we checked the price for those light module and they run around 150.00 plus labor some company very known told us labor was going to be around 500.00 plus the price for the modules.. seriously for that price I will buy a new one. So disappointed.

I do not recommend this product it broke after 6 months. Customer service is awful. I spoke to two customer service mangers and they could not help at all. Recently purchased all new Samsung appliances and they are way more efficient my electric bill has also decreased by $15/month!

Worked for 4 years and suddenly died. Bad coil. Repair man said the compressor had been reinstalled so I suspect this was a refurb when I bought it (not what I paid for).
