I recently bought a whirlpool french door refrigerator with the freezer drawer at the bottom. I had compared all the others for space, price and features for a year. When I saw the sale price at Best Buy, I knew I couldn't ever find it cheaper. I LOVE my new refrigerator. It has plenty of room for party trays and food when I am entertaining. I love the 3 different, replaceable filters. The filter in the veggie drawer keeps my food fresh so much longer! The only downside is the in-door ice machine shoots the ice out and makes a bit of a mess. Otherwise, it has so many fantastic features, I don't know how I got along without it.

I choose this fridge over the French Door model with snack drawer at the same price point. I liked the interior crispers, which the 4 door model did not have. The model had drawers but they weren't adjustable as traditional crispers. This is a great basic Stainless Steel fridge for anyone that wants Stainless appliances but doesn't want to pay over $2k for one. This model has the ice maker in the door, which I love because it frees up room in the fridge box. It does however limit the number of shelves you have within your doors. The two shelves at the bottom of the ice maker door are not adjustable so I'm limited in what I can use it for. I also wish the center drawer, between the two crispers was eliminated and the crispers were just bigger. The freezer is a nice size with a base bottom and a slide out drawer. I was apprehensive of these French door type refrigerators because I didn't think I would like a freezer with out shelves. The second drawer makes it easy to organize items and easy to grab what you need without digger for things. There is also an adjustable divider on each shelf. My only wish is that the divider was 100% adjustable, it only moves a few inches from center on both sides, and that the divider didn't have a center compartment. The divider compartment on both shelves is about the size to store frozen juice can's, etc. I do not really buy anything that fits well in these little compartments. The pizza compartment is really nice and saves space. Overall, I am happy with this purchase. I've only had the refrigerator for 6 weeks, so only time will tell on it's durability, but so far so good.

Switching from a side by side to a French door fridge has made a huge difference for my family. Our new house only allowed us to get a certain size fridge and we had to be very careful about the width because it was up against a wall on one side. The way the doors are designed with this fridge, they really don't require more than an inch of leeway on either side. Unlike the LG and Samsung fridges, the doors on the whirlpool fridges open almost exactly in line with the front of the fridge so I can actually open up the door the on the side of the wall a lot more than I could with the other designs. Inside, the fridge is very spacious and I have definitely noticed a difference in the lasting freshness of my vegetables with the humidity control drawers. Another pro to this fridge is the sleek inline ice machine that doesn't take up a whole chunk of the fridge. All of the ice production is within the door panel. Although this ice container will only hold a smaller amount of ice we haven't had any issues so far. I thought it would be annoying to have a big bucket basically for a freezer but I was wrong. There is a convenient built in shelf for a pizza and then a divider for the sides of the freezer. It's spacious for our needs and easy to stack things in without it looking like a pile of chaos. The only cons I can think of is the way the water and ice dispenses from the door. It takes some getting used to but the water still goes even when you release the lever and the ice comes out all over the place. I also wish there was some sort of tray that could hold some of the misplaced water rather than the sort of flat surface there is now. All the pieces of ice and water just roll right down the fridge leaving a nice white streak that I have to clean often. Other than that this is an excellent fridge especially if you have a tight space!

I bought this fridge for our new home. Did a lot of research on it and found great reviews just about everywhere I looked. The inner layout allows for great organization and its extremely spacious. I'm a cautious person so I purchased the warranty. The indoor ice maker and open door warning are great features as well.

Great look and easy to use. Ice and water controls are simple. One of the shelves has an adjustable length which is great. Looked at all the other French door fridges and this is the only one that had vegetable drawers that were deep enough to hold lettuce and cabbage as well as other vegetables. Only downfall I've noticed is the ice maker has a tendency to not always make the cup. Door shelves are the perfect size. It is a little noisier than I would like, but not a deal breaker.

I love this refrigerator and would choose it again. I just wish it had separate paddles for water and ice instead of a single paddle. I love that the ice maker is in the door and frees up the upper left area for storage. But the ice bin is small. I really wish it was bigger. Plan to buy ice if you have several people over.

We spent a lot of time researching appliances for our new home. This fridge was the one we decided on and we have no regrets. There is plenty of room for storage. The fridge is quiet and we have not had an cooling issues. The only two cons to this fridge are both related to the water dispenser. The water stream is not all that fast. However, upon replacing the filter with the newer model filter, that has picked up. That is the second con, whether you buy the old model or new model filter, either way it is expensive, about $50.

I recently bought this fridge. Love the space that it has and the shelving arrangements you can make. I love that it is stainless steel and the door doesn't bounce when touched. It has a great ice/water mechanism in front. Love the pizza box space in the freezer and how the freezer is compartmentalized. The only complaint I have is the ice maker shoots ice out and some of it lands on the floor. Otherwise, I love it!

I love this fridge. Of the French door design, this seems to close the easiest. Whirlpool got it right. The surprisingly pleasant door ajar alarm goes off at about 5 minutes. I've only heard it once or twice after loading the fridge after a Costco trip. It runs quietly and efficient. The quality is a 10!

Plenty of room, looks great. condensation does show up at times on top of freezer but not much. Haven't had any issue with icemaker. Weird that the lights in the refrigerator has a yellowish cast lines along back. Thought it was the plastic that yellowed, only slightly noticeable when it,s empty. Customer service is great.

Very nice big and spacious frig. Really like the double doors and pull out freezer with plenty of space. Only negative is that it has a high pitched sound that you really notice at night when the rest of the house is quiet. Will try to get used to it - maybe.

Have had this product for about two weeks now. It looks very nice and stylish, a perfect fit in kitchen. Very quiet which I am eternally grateful for (hate hate hate noisy appliances). Only knock, the freezer looks bigger than it really is.

I am pleased to have more storage in a manner that allows me to see what's in the refrigerator and I like the configuration of the freezer. Again it's easy to see things and the drawers make it handy. The ice maker is rather noisy and the dispenser on the front is flat so any excess ice or water drips down the front. My old refrigerator had a grooved bottom on the dispenser which kept the excess water and ice right there.

Having had several (in different houses), I can say that this Whirlpool is the best to date, updated with Daylight Bright LEDS to light up the inside as well as adjustable shelves and temp settings for compartments. The outside is clean and precise, the Ice and Water settings are easy to read and simplistic to use, nothing complicated. You can out a large glass under the dispenser too...

This is a great frig for the price. I love the layout inside, and it has plenty of room. I especially like the middle drawer that holds up to 12 canned drinks. It also keeps things very cold with no warm spots. I also like the lighting; you can see virtually everything in the refrigerator with just a glance. I am very pleased with it. One thing we do not like is that it doesn't make enough ice for our needs.

When we bought the fridge it was listed as a 26 but after we bought it it says 24. It's ok the French doors make up for the smaller size. Even the clerk didn't know it wasn't a true 26

Refrigerator worked fine but did not fit properly into our refrigerator space. We had measured and remeasured but when installed it extended too far into the walk space next to the island. We ended up with a counter depth side-by-side whirlpool which has much smaller cubic feet storage space. In the door ice maker does help provide some extra freezer space. Ice maker is somewhat slower than we expected. They say to discard three batches of ice -- well, it took several days to make enough ice to discard. Also, there is supposed to be an arm that comes down and stops the ice making when full -- that arm does not drop down as far as I can tell.

We love the look of the freezer on the bottom. As other reviewers have noted the refrig is very loud at times. The temp is right on in freezer and refrig. Overall very happy with our new Whirlpool and it is made in the USA!!!!

The ice does seem to "fly" when dispensing. Very disappointed with delivery. Found a scratch on freezer door shortly after delivery. Delivery crew cracked my ceiling fan light shade. Service at the store was great.

We love this fridge! So much room and it is so quiet! Water filter results in great tasting water from through the door ice maker. Great looking unit to boot!
