Love the adjustable racks and it is so quiet you can hardly tell it is running. Didn't rate excellent because I think the drying option should do a better job at a hour and half with the dry cycle- still have to wait to air dry or towel dry excess water off dishes.

I was looking for a dishwasher in the $500 and under range and several sites and sales people said this is the one. The dishwasher does a good job cleaning. There is one downside though: don't put the tall flatware (knives, etc.) on the same side as the soap dispenser if using soap pods as they won't drop and dissolve through the knives.

Selected this unit because of the quiet operation, stainless inside and out. Only downside is the silverware basket could be a bit larger. For small family not an issue.

Quiet and cleans very well. The only negative things that I have found is that the wash cycles take a really long time. I don't like the silverware basket as well as the one on my previous Whirlpool dishwasher. Did not like the 3/4 " garden hose style water inlet. You can purchase at your local home depot a 3/4 " garden hose style to 3/8 " compression right angle adapter if you are installing it yourself.

So quiet that you could carry on a conversation with the dishes washing and you standing right next to the dishwasher! Dishes come out super clean--even on the I-hour cycle! Best dishwasher I've ever had!

I installed in my self and installation was relatively easy. The performance isn't as good as we expected in cleaning dishes, but we've considered that we may just to load it differently from our old dishwasher. Cleaning times are long, but it states that it actually conserves water using long cycle as opposed to short cycle. The length of time doesn't really matter as you can hardly even hear it run. The soap dispenser has failed to open a couple of times, still trying to figure out source of that, but overall a good dishwasher.

The dishwasher is pretty quiet. The cycles seem a bit long, especially considering the amount of residue that gets left on dishes. I do not put caked on/baked on dishes in the dishwasher, but it seems to leave a lot of particles stuck to glasses, silverware, and plates. The detergent door sometimes pops open prior to closing the door. This washer is not exactly what I expected.

I don't spend a ton of time with this so I can only provide a high level review. It looks great and seems to be built very solidly. There are a TON of different cycles and a lot of options to customize the racks. The only thing I don't like is that the silverware holder (as designed) wants you to put the silverware in backwards meaning you are holding the dirty/used part of the utensil as you put it in the holder. Weird design.

Quiet and dishes come out nice but I do rinse them off first.

we had been looking for a new dishwasher and spent a long time reading reviews. This dishwasher is very quiet and cleans good. I would recommend!!!

We chose the Whirlpool dishwasher because of our previous Whirlpool dishwasher's performance. It had lasted 16 years and we hope this one will too. It does clean the dishes well however, I am not a fan of the cycles taking 3 hours to complete even if it is quiet and energy efficient.

We had the unit installed by a company recommended by Best Buy. The tech was informative and did a great install job for us. Compared to our last unit the dishwasher is very quiet. We are pleased and we got good value for the money spent!

I bought this dishwasher to replace an older whirlpool model and am very pleased. It's very quiet, cleans completely and looks great!

It cleans well but the silverware never seems to dry well and never if the rack is left on the door. So unless I need the extra space that the door rack permits, the rack goes inside the d/w.

Installing was a breeze I choose stainless because I heard they are easy to clean and maintain so far this seems to be true I choose Whirlpool because there reputation for there product and service is out standing.The price was very reasonable and the sales person at best buy was knowledgeable concerning the items I purchased.

This is my third Whirlpool dishwasher over the years, and I've installed them all. The water supply fitting (doesn't come with it) has always been the same. This one's different. So do it yourself installers, beware. In my opinion, for the several hundred dollars you spend, it should come with the special fitting the unit requires.
