But can't seem to dry no matter what setting it's on. Looks great, great functions and easy to use.

This dishwasher replaced a previous 19-year-old Whirlpool dishwasher that worked well without ever having a problem. I didn't realize until I got this new Whirlpool that my old one would have been considered noisy, but this new one is so quiet that the first time I ran it, I didn't think it was working. I love how quiet it is! I've had it for two months now, and it's cleaned everything well with only one exception. I put in a glass loaf pan with caked-on meatloaf and it had a few little pieces stuck to it at the end, but that could be because I just used the normal cycle instead of heavy cycle. Frankly, I put that pan in as a test and it came out cleaner than I expected. I only have one minor little complaint - when the dishwasher is open and the bottom rack is out, the door springs up a little and if the rack doesn't have enough dishes in it to weigh it down, it rolls back into the dishwasher. There's a spring that can be set on the side before the dishwasher is installed which I had my husband set to it's lowest setting, but it still springs up a little. But that wouldn't be a deal-breaker for this well-performing dishwasher. Overall, I'm very happy with this dishwasher.

Maybe I need to call Whirlpool. Maybe this isn't normal for this dishwasher but I have ran it threw about 8 loads since I bought it and it has a very loud whistling noise. It goes right threw the wall and it is not pleasant at all. Not a machine I can turn on and go to bed. The noise it makes is that bad. All the other reviews claim this dishwasher is quiet. Not in my case.

I have had this dishwasher for less than 3 months went to turn it on and nothing, called Whirlpool, they sent a tech (a week later), the control board is shot - 2 weeks to get the part so it can be fixed, then the repair man comes back to fix it and finds that the panel strip is no good - 3 missed work days and 3 weeks without a brand new dishwasher - Whirlpool doesn't make products like they use to!
