We were replacing a 22 year old Kenmore. We like Fingerprint-Resistant stainless steel exterior. No one told us about the metal rack in the door and went to the Whirlpool web site and found out it is an aluminum can storage rack for easy access to a cold beverage. We like it so far.

Love the ice maker and water have two different tabs. Have had fridge in the past where they had the same opening and there would be a delay between switching from ice to water or from big cubes to crushed. Lot of space in this fridge. Fit perfectly.

Bought this thing back in September after mine had died and it worked fine for 3 months. Recently though, it has not been able to maintain a cold enough temperature in the freezer section to keep ice frozen and just come home to puddles of water on the ground. I've also had meat spoil and have had problems on the refrigerator side as well, finding nothing in there is remotely cold at times. Like others have mentioned, it is not a quiet machine in any sense of the word. For how much noise it makes you'd think it be managing to keep your food and beverages at a reasonable temperature but apparently not. Don't know where this product went wrong and whether I got a dud, the installers messed it up somewhere or just a poorly designed whirlpool product but it's been a joke. Save yourself the headache and spend your money elsewhere

To start I was very displeased in Best Buy’s method of handling customers dissatisfaction. I left specific instructions for the delivery personnel to call me at work when they were on their way to my house so I can meet them there. I cannot bring my cell phone to my place of employment. So I gave them my work number. They did not follow simple instructions. They didn’t call me at work, they called me on my cell phone instead, when I said not to. I demanded that Best Buy bring my refrigerator back out to the house and they refused stating that they couldn’t come back until two days later. I refused delivery because I had already waited 10 days for the initial delivery. This was Best Buy’s fault and they refused to make it right. So I cancelled my order, and gave them back their $100 dollar gift card. Best Buy allowed over &1300.00 walk out of their store because they refused to correct their own mistake. I am very doubtful that I will shop at Best Buy again due to negligence and lack of customer appreciation.

The water/ice dispenser was poorly designed. The light does not illuminate the area of the dispenser adequately to see how much water is in a mug. The amount of cold water dispensed is insufficient. The water dispenser is not properly positioned for the tray beneath to catch any overflow. The shelves inside the refrigerator are not sturdy and are not designed well. I WOULD NOT BUY THIS REFRIGERATOR. MY OLD GE REFRIGERATOR WAS BETTER THOUGH THE WATER DISPENSER DID FREEZE UP IN ITS LAST YEAR OF ITS THIRTEEN YEARS OF SERVICE.

Fridge seems fine; I'm relying on Whirlpool quality reputation from decades ago, not recent disappointments. I hope i enjoy the old ways and not the new

This would be a great fridge for the price if not for the fact that it does not have wheel locks. Every time we open the doors the fridge slides far forward. Two separate installers have come out to take a look and informed me nothing can be done. So now I have spent a hefty chunk of money to me for an applicable that I have to stop from moving with pieces of cardboard underneath it. Seems ridiculous. Can not get in contact with someone from Best Buy who can provide further support.
