This product was delivered to me twice and all was damaged and they couldn’t check to see what was being delivered, I don’t think it’s a good choice for anyone. There’s so much carelessness from the team handling orders.

Lost about 250$ worth of food. Constant dripping from water. Back freezer has frozen over twice in a week. It decided it also will stop working and it now just and very expensive box. Don’t recommend.

I purchased this refrigerator in August of 2021. In December 2022, I had to pay almost $300 to have the refrigerator repaired, as it stopped cooling. I found that the self defrost feature had malfunctioned. I have attached a picture, that the repairman sent to me, of the frozen coils that had to be defrosted.
I can't believe that I paid this much money for what appears to be a pretty nice fridge, only to have to repair it at 3 months over the expiration of the "Limited One Year" warranty! Per the manufacturer's own website "Your Whirlpool® appliances are built to last, but since life happens, appliances are typically covered with a limited warranty for some peace of mind.", so, apparently, they want you to have at least a little "peace of mind", but they also don't want to be on the hook for all of the repairs that will probably need to be made! I won't buy another Whirlpool appliance, and would highly recommend to anyone against purchasing a Whirlpool refrigerator.

I purchased this refrigerator to replace a older whirlpool refrigerator that I had. All in all it’s a pretty good refrigerator. The cons that I can think of is it does make various noises but it’s not a dealbreaker.
Also when it’s delivered make sure that the doors are even if not the delivers need to adjust it so that the doors will shut properly; it also states that on the manual as well.
Also if you have heavier items on the door of the refrigerator you always need to make sure that Its close properly after each use.
I think as a refrigerator goes it’s going to be a work horse and it’s going to do what it’s made to do (store food)and it looks beautiful in the kitchen with a very modern and sleek look. I love the fact that it does not have a drip tray I think drip trays are just disgusting and need to Be pulled and cleaned far to often, it makes cleaning it much much easier and faster .The one that I purchased has almost a mirrored effect;so when you look at it you can actually see yourself. It was a good purchase for the price that I paid and then also with the warrantee you can’t beat it. I think whirl pool makes pretty decent profucts.

This refrigerator was average +, though the price was very reasonable at around $1100 on sale. I would give it 3 1/2 stars. I had expected a little more, considering the reviews were pretty good. I will say that the frig works fine and looks good (though doesn’t quite have that solid look of the higher end refrigerators – but of course, it is less than half the price of the higher end products).
Some people had said that the frig was noisy, but I find it quiet. However, do note: I did not hook up the ice maker or water line, so I don’t know if the ice maker is noisy.
What I don’t like is that the shelves are not adjustable, nor do any pull out. (only the door shelves are adjustable). Unless you keep your milk or other gallon jugs on the door, they will only fit on the top shelf, and since I am 5’ 2 ½”, I find it a little uncomfortable to maneuver because it’s a little too high. Also, the bins don’t slide in and out easily– they seem cheap and flimsy. Another issue is that this refrigerator at just under 25cu ft., feels smaller than the one I replaced which was only 23.5 cu ft.
I do have the same issue that some others noted, that when you open the door, the frig can move forward a little. I find that I can avoid this by either placing my other hand on the opposite door, or placing my thumb on the opposite door handle when I open the frig. This lightly braces the frig so it doesn’t move.
Bottom-line: if you are looking for a reasonably priced refrigerator, I think this is fine, though don’t expect it to compare to a top of the line frig.

I spent a good amount of time researching refrigerators and landed here because of the balance of cost, features and reviews.
I intentionally waited a month before writing my review to give honest fact based opinion.
First, yes this model is louder than our 2006 GE model both in motor and ice maker refill but not the jet engine described in another review. If in a studio apartment it would take I bit to get used to but we only hear it occasionally ( when it’s quiet) when sitting in the living room.
Next, the water and ice dispenser has several comments that on day one seemed credible HOWEVER, after daily use for a month it is obviously a feature Whirlpool spend some time on. Ergonomically and functionally it’s quite impressive how they instinctively work for us. Did we spill some water on the floor a few times the first week? Yes. After that we now love the ease of not having to select which one and how quickly is cup of water fills. Also the water is much colder coming out than our old fridge ever did.
Finally, the ice maker is loud dropping ice for the first few days but once it is half way full it is the same as everyone else’s.
As a side note that is true of every refrigerator made today, the turning off when the door opens then right back on is concerning to me in that with a house full of kids opening the door over and over it just seems that a motor stopping and starting over and over had to have a negative affect in the long run. Planned obsolescence I guess.

Overall the refrigerator was a decent purchase. I bought it after my old one went out. It matched my stove perfectly. There's plenty of storage space on both sides (fridge and freezer). It's easy to clean and change out the filter.
Cons: When operating properly, the ice maker doesn't make that much ice...which leads me to, I've been having issues in the last year with it not working/making ice at all. Also, I wish the storage shelves in the door of the freezer were detachable and moveable, just so I can store taller items when needed (ie plastic bottles)

before I buy something, I read the long-term use product first, especially for someone like me who can't afford expensive things for the kitchen. I love to cook and am always in the kitchen so I chose this frig because I have heard a lot nice thing about it. I bought this for my brother and I picked the same brand and model of what I had right now. I love this product because of the durability and long term use and read good reviews. Nice in the eyes of all who see.
