I bought a brand new home. The biggest investment of my entire life. With a new house, I needed a new fridge. I searched other applicant stores and could not find another deal better than this one. I have had my refrigerator of a month now and everything is going Great!!!! It took some adjusting to the sound ice maker but overall it's Great. The doors shut evenly and the trays and drawers are even and easy to open and close. However the shelves on the inside of the door was confusing and I think I'm missing a smaller shelf. There's plenty of space in the freezer for me. Overall, I would recommend this refrigerator to family and friends.

We have had the fridge for around a month, and overall we are very happy with it. Previously we had an LG French door fridge and we found the freezer was difficult to keep organized. This one is laid out in such a way that it’s much easier to see what you have without having to dig. The fridge is roomy and holds plenty. We also really enjoy that it is magnetic on the outside so we can put our son’s artwork on it. I do wish the sliding portion on the bottom shelf slid out more. As it is, I don’t foresee that it will be particularly useful because it only slides out a few inches, but this isn’t too big of an issue for me personally. There are only 2 negative things I can think of to say about it. The first is that it is much louder than our old fridge. It doesn’t keep me awake or anything but when in the kitchen I’m definitely aware that it’s there. The second thing is that the doors swing open very easily. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but basically if you open the door and let go of it, it will swing all the way open, which has take some getting used to. Time will tell if the quality holds up, but we are happy with our purchase.

I researched a long time. Our previous French door was from Samsung and had issue after issue after leak after fan freezing and ice maker quitting and after 5 years we tossed it. I asked my new friend, the technician who kept coming to our house to fix it, which brand to buy and he told me this brand and this model. Whirlpool is reliable and they put the ice maker in the door which he explained how smartly engineered that was and he’ll never see issues with them. We’ve had it two months and absolutely love it! It’s quieter then our Samsung model was. Way more intuitively engineered and thoughtfully designed. And unlike our Samsung, has not required three services in the first 30 days, the first being the day after it was turned on.

It's a great fridge but it has a few things I didn't find in other reviews. First is when it is sealing after you open the door it sounds like your cell phone in your pocket is calling someone. It takes a while to get used to the butt dial sound. Second is that the water flow through the door takes forever to fill a larger glass. I actually went through and beefed up my reverse osmosis system because I thought the problem was on my end and it still flows very slow. Other than these things it works great.

I am under the impression that you cannot win when purchasing a refrigerator. My previous KitchenAid died in 4 1/2 years. It kept freezing behind the drawer and KitchenAid only covered one part. We had it repaired 3 times and all of the repair techs told me not to go with dual cooling and to pick a Whirlpool product. We have a person with special needs and a fridge has to meet certain criteria. I spent a day driving around and looking at fridges. A lot of models had broken parts and bins on the showroom floor. If they break that easy I don't want to purchase that. Quality has really came down. Bins are made of lighter plastic and there is a lot less metal than there used to be. The shelves on this unit are glass and are adjustable. There is also a shelf that you can slide and it turns into a half shelf. The bottom shelf pulls out slightly on the bottom of the fridge. Slightly helpful. It comes with 2 bins for the left door and 3 bins for the right door. But it doesn't include a half bin for the bottom of the right door. I had to purchase from Whirlpool for $72. We use that space for some small items. It should have came with that bin. The bin drawers inside the fridge have little rollers and can easily come off track. I do like the 3 bin design and you can have pop cans in the middle bin. The meat drawer is also very handy. Temperature is an issue. Because it doesn't have dual cooling temperatures vary greatly. The freezer is set to 0 and actually reads 1 degree. The fridge temp is set to 37 degrees and reads 34 in the meat drawer, 39 in the middle of the fridge and 46 degrees on the top shelf. I hadn't opened the fridge for 2 hours and the freezer for 3 hours. Your fridge should be at 40 degrees or lower. The ice maker is slow but adequate. Hold your glass up or you will have ice everywhere. The water dispensing is the flaw. After you fill your glass you need to leave it in place for 10 seconds or it will drip, splash and run down the front of the fridge. The freezer has a pizza slot, divided bottom and one pull out top bin. It is adequate but I miss my 2 drawers and bottom bin on the old fridge. Hopefully this one will last longer but I have no confidence in appliance manufacturers anymore.

This fridge is close to great. Only close because it doesn't quite get as cold as I would like. I don't think there is anything wrong with it I just would like it to stay a degree or 2 colder. It does get opened alot may have something to do with it... kids! Tons of room and more fits in the freezer than what I expected. Also looks great! Whirlpool does a great job with there fingerprint resistant stainless. It is very easy to keep clean and it has more of a mat finish which in my opinion makes it look more soft and elegant than some other popular brands which you can see your reflection in almost like a mirror. Almost nothing is perfect these days but this is really nice.

I decided on this fridge to replace an 8 year old Samsung model that made extremely loud noises because of freezing of the back panel around the fan. This is a well known issue, I would not buy another Samsung. That being said, I spoke with a fridge repair man, and he recommended Whirlpool. We actually still have a 15 year old Whirlpool side by side fridge being used as our secondary in our garage, which the Samsung one replaced because of a circuit board issue. This model is nice because the LED lighting really lights up the fridge. However the freezer is not as well lit. The water dispenser seems catchy, not smooth. I typically have to push pretty hard for the water to come out, and any slight movement will cause it to stop dispensing water. The finish is nice, we only need windex to clean it. Stainless steel cleaner actually leaves streak marks. Overall, I like the fridge, it has some minor issues, the key is finding out how long it will last. Best Buy delivery was top notch though, no issues there.

The nicest refrigerator I've ever had. Still, it must have been designed by someone who never grocery shops like we do. Plastic boxes of prewashed greens don't fit in the drawers. The "meat" drawer is too big for our use and too shallow for most veggies (say, an eggplant). The small center drawer can't be opened unless both doors are opened and it's narrow and deep, creating (for us) a rather impractical space--I'd rather have two larger drawers. There's no egg container, which is odd. (but may be current?) The ice maker doesn't take up as much space as our old Whirlpool, which is practical; we'll simply make extra ice in advance if needed. Freezer space is better designed. We've had it only three weeks and will get used to it. We just hope it lasts as long as the 16-year-old version that's now in our garage!

I like this new Whirlpool Refrigerator. I was used to a side x side, so it took me a bit of time to adjust. I had to take out one shelf to make enough space in between shelves. I thought I would love the smaller middle crisper drawer for long things like celery, green onions, etc., but I have found that it makes the other two crisper drawers smaller. So big heads of Broccoli, Califlower and lettuce don't fit as well. Like I said, I'm learning how to adjust. Now I use the large pull out "deli" drawer for more things which helps. What I DO love is the freezer area. Lots of space. In the Freezer I DO love the skinny long compartments to keep things like jars upright and not falling over when I open the drawer. I like the fact that I have 4 distinct areas that I can organize so I can easily find things. This is Waaaay better than my side x side freezer! I also like that the ice maker compartment is in the door so it doesn't take upon shelf space. The ice cubes themselves are smaller than I am used to and they seem to climb together in the compartment so I can;t just grab one or tow out of the compartment easily. But I have found if I just get it through the door, that solves that issue. Otherwise I like it a lot. I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because of the refrigerator section seeming to much smaller to me. But.. in all fairness, that me getting used to it.

I couldn’t believe how perfect this refrigerator was for our family. It is so much bigger than our old refrigerator that we still don’t fill it up like our old one. I love the large sliding shelf and the big drawer that I can place a whole fish on. The bottom freezer has lots of room and I can put both pizza boxes and a tall bottle of vodka in the door. The middle drawer for soda cans and the ice and water dispenser is great for our beverage needs. The only reason this was an open box purchase was because of a scratch on the bottom of the freezer, which we can live with. This is a great addition to our kitchen, with the stainless steel fingerprint resistant look.

This is a nice refrigerator perfect for our kitchen and has enough space for our meat, veggies and all the things you might want to keep cold. The sales rep. Debbie at Best Buy helped me out with the measures and checking the availability since I needed a refrigerator immediately. Debbie was wonderful and patient and understood my urgency on getting it quickly. The delivery service was great and the guys took it to the second floor of the house and installed it the same date it was scheduled and took my old refrigerator. So far the refrigerator is working well. Thank you Best Buy, Debbie and the delivery crew!

Have had this for about a month now, even though we ordered it in January it didn't arrive until March and love it so far. Very easy to find things and roomy enough for most of our food. Really like the layout. Very easy to keep the outside of it clean too. The water dispenser did leak at first, but the manual did say it would stop and it did, but while it was leaking I put a really cool "boot" shaped glass there and it worked great to catch the extra water and looks nice so my husband and I decided to leave it there!

I bought this to replace an LG frig that completely failed in under 3 years. Our LG frig had door-in-door, which we liked, but thought we could live without - we can, but we miss it more than we thought we would. The ice maker and water dispenser are much slower than our LG and you have to hold your cup under the ice dispenser for a bit, as it keeps dropping ice even after you have released the button. The slide out tray is pretty useless - I think it could be a huge help if it extended all the way out. But it only comes out about 40% of the way, So you really can't place hard to reach items in the back and slide it open to reach them, which would be really useful. Otherwise, the rest of the functionality is what you would expect. It seems the rest of the frig is pretty functional. The freezer is easy to use and like the pocket in the front for tall skinny items, like frozen pizzas. The temperatures seem good, everything is cold and freezes well. Overall, I like it, but I liked our LG better. I wish it hadn't broken and I don't trust that LG will fix the issue that some many people have complained about. I feel like this frig will outlast my LG and that is good thing.

We had a side-by-side, Whirlpool refrigerator for about 20 years, and we were very happy with it, so when we renovated our kitchen, we stayed with Whirlpool and bought a bigger one. We bought the French door model with the freezer on the bottom. We are very happy with the size. We now have the room to store larger platters, which we couldn’t manage before. We also like having two shelves that accommodate gallon-size containers. We absolutely made the right choice.

Love his fridge. Have had it a month now. Ive experimented with veggies/fruit in the crispers. WHAT A DIFFERENCE from my last fridge. Im not joking...but Ive had a basket of strawberries and a head of lettuce in there about 3 weeks. Still edible and healthy. I know, sounds gross...but I was experimenting and Im glad I did. I was shocked my strawberries lasted 1 week let alone 3. Lol. The ice basket is the perfect size for me and my 4 person family. And it does not interfere with the space inside fridge. Ice basket easy to remove and replace. The freezer section is incredibly easy to keep organized as well as the fridge section. A lot of room! This unit is very very quiet. The door water/ice are easy to navigate. And im a fan of crushed ice. There is always a drop of water or 2 that seems to escape after I use it but I keep a small paper towel there to catch it. It is not a problem for me. I love that no fingerprints are all over the place and super easy to wipe down. I honestly cannot think of ONE NEGATIVE! I LOVE IT. MY KIDS ARE TIRED OF ME SAYING SO! LOL. I bought his open box so I got a great deal. It was in PERFECT condition when I bought it. Only one small dent occurred during the delivery process but it is not noticable where I have my fridge placed. Best buy honored their delivery process and sent me a gift card to make up for that. I did buy the extended warrantee as I do on all my large appliance purchases. I learned the hard way on a dryer (maytag) I bought from best buy. I am a whirlpool fan and I will not stray again. Never had issues with this brand. 10 star purchase!
