I absolutely love my new refrigerator! I love all of the room in the refrigerator and the lighting inside both of the refrigerator and freezer! Easy to find everything you are looking for. I was worried about it fitting in the space in my kitchen as the space was exactly 36 inches wide and 69 1/4 in height. it fit perfectly! On one side of my Refrigerator there is a wall, and we moved the refrigerator out pass the wall about 1 3/4 inches. Doors open with no problem. They are almost zero clearance doors. Beautiful and sleek design and finish! I love Whirlpool products and I highly recommend this refrigerator!

This refrigerator has pros and cons, but lately the cons outweigh the pros. Some of the pros are it does a great job cooling both the freezer side and the fridge side, the water filter is super easy to replace, and the control touch panel on the door is handy. The cons are the fridge does not seem as deep or spacious as it is supposed to be, the shelving placement, even with rearranging the shelves leaves a lot to be desired because the rails are too close together which makes it hard to see what's in the back of the fridge, it's noisy and makes unexplained rattling sounds inside, on occasion, and I'm thankful of purchasing the 3 year protection plan because we've had to use it 3 times in the past year and a half. First, the ice maker stopped dispensing ice and it turned out the wiring at the bottom front of the fridge was damaged/cut due to manufacturing defect/placement of the wiring. Then 6 months later, the ice making tray became unhinged and forced out of it's slot in the door.(see pictures) We don't even know how this happened but the mechanism to release the ice must have become jammed and forced the tray to empty by actually bending it. We had that replaced with a new ice tray assembly and the same thing happened again less than 2 months later. Again, the Geek Squad replaced the tray assembly and we hope that's the last time. However, I can visually see icicles hanging at the back of the ice bucket so it appears that water is leaking or dripping somewhere it should not be. The dripping water is also causing the ice cubes in the bucket to freeze together in clusters. If you choose to take a chance with buying this product, I highly recommend purchasing the protection plan because I can almost guarantee you will use it if you purchase this refrigerator.

A stand out refrigerator with the largest capacity in this size range. The in door ice maker provides lots of additional freezer shelf space and room for two slide out freezer baskets. On the fridge side there are two good sized slide out fruit / veggie storage containers and an over-sized deli draw. Five adjustable extra deep door shelves for milk and bottle storage. No other competitors could match these practical storage features or offered the same usable space in this price range. The finish and quality is great. The door panels are real metal, not a look alike fo plastic and fridge magnets actually stick to it which is a feature my kids make use of to proudly display their art work and brighten the kitchen. The door surface is easily cleaned with a light spray of Windex and wipe with a paper towel. I really like the bright white internal LED lighting as well as the easy to use door and dispenser controls. The extra tall dispensing ports let you fill long sports water bottles. I like the size of the ice cubes, not to huge. I did buy this during a big Memorial Day appliance sale and the pricing intensives made choosing this fridge a slam dunk. So look out for special deals.

Did our research, shopped around, Best Buy stood out. Info, sales and delivery were pleasant and efficient. Love the size, lighting, shelf layout, sturdyness and performance so far. Quietest fridge I've had in years, my food stays fresher longer (never again Samsung), thermometer readings are perfect. True test will be longevity. Right now, couldn't be happier, so so thrilled with our purchase! Highly recommend!

This is a great refrigerator with lots of storage in both the freezer and on the refrigerator side with an updated black stainless steel modern appearance. It is a very solid built fridge. The doors close and seal firmly and I love the handles! The handles are a lighter color and are shiny and comfortable to use. The fact that they are curved is great because that means I don’t walk into them.  The ice compartment in the freezer is great and makes plenty of ice and is easily accessible for pulling out the bucket of ice if needed. For cons, I would say a couple of things are that: it is not completely fingerprint proof, and I use a microfiber cloth often on the handled so they don’t stsin with fingerprints. Also, I had to adjust the temperature inside the refrigerator to 35° in order for the refrigerator to be cold on all of the shelves because when it was at the preset temperature of 37°, one of the lower shelves was heading towards 40° according to my thermometer. It does keep everything nice and cold which is a plus, I would also say that when you push against the dispenser for ice that you have to push fairly hard and some young kids may have trouble getting ice. Overall, I am very pleased with the refrigerator, and it was perfect for my kitchen! Best Buy delivery guys were great! Thsnk you!

I have wanted this beautiful fridge for quite some time. It's my first one with an ice and water dispenser. I do not have a freezer, so the extra freezer space is wonderful since the ice maker is in the door. This beautiful thing is huge! Overall, both the fridge and freezer side are more than enough room for my small family. I'm not sure I will ever have enough food at one time to use up all the fridge side space, lol. The inside lighting is very bright. You will not search for what you need long, because the lighting is perfect. It comes with the water filter installed, but there is no air filter included anywhere. Not even in the manual bag like it states in the set up instructions. Not sure who should cover the bill for this item. Be aware of this. The water dispenser lighting display is really beautiful and soft to the eyes. It's great when you wake up to get a drink of water and you're not thrown into full awakeness from bright lights. I love the water ounce counter display. It's made drinking water, in this hardly drinks water family, a fun competititive healthy game of who can drink the most water throughout the day. It's also great for cooking. You just select the amount you need dispensed on the extremely easy to use, uncomplicated, electronic panel and walk away. Great for fast paced cooking. I saved the ice maker review for last and included pictures of ice maker too. My first statement on the ice maker review is trust Your GEEK SQUAD installation!!!!! I previously purchased this exact fridge from a different retailer and had two separate fridges delivered and both were damaged and non working. There is a control arm in the ice maker and it should NOT be TOUCHED! The other retailer told me the control arm is in shipping mode and a tab needed to be released by pulling down the control arm and breaking the tab. This was done to both of the fridges and neither ice maker ever made a single cube. In the user guide instructions, there is a section displaying exactly what was done to the fridge and it is WRONG! So, when I received delivery from Best Buy, it was a comical experience. I waited til set up of fridge was complete and I asked why they had not took the ice maker out of shipping mode. I was looked at like I was crazy when I asked that question. I explained my previous experience and was assured that there was no need to touch the control arm. They had never performed this on any installation and never even heard of the shipping mode term. I felt so confused and dupped. I do actually read my manuals and they were doing their own training instructions they've been doing for years. Since I purchased the extended warranty, I decided to put faith in my Geek Squad and trust their installation. I am so glad I did! My ice maker produced ice cubes within hours of delivery. I am a believer in Best Buy now and have been able to enjoy the first purchase of new appliances experience. The ice maker is awesome! I chew ice non stop everyday and the crushed up ice option is perfect for me to chew. It is always full of ice and I have yet to need the use of the fast ice function. Every now and then the crushed up option gets clogged. I simply switch it to cubed ice mode and dispense a couple cubes and then switch back to crushed up ice mode and it works perfectly again. I am extremely happy with my purchase and I am also a loyal Whirlpool customer. All of my appliances throughout my home are made in America by Whirlpool and I feel it's important to support American made businesses. So, I am sure you can understand how relieved I am to know I am once again buying a quality product and now have a new favorite trusted retailer in Best Buy.

I shopped around for about 6 months on line before I had narrowed it down between Home Depot and Best Buy.The Whirlpool had all the features I wanted.The ice maker and water dispenser and the ice maker on the inside door panel which gave away to more space,mind uou My old Whirpool came with the house in 2009 and I had never replaced a refrigerator.I read the reviews between the different brands and settled on the brand I already had.Boy how refrigerator features and prices have changed from 15 years ago.The bins and interior are more plastic side bins.This new model has an outside panel which is great. You also have a choice of icc cubes and amount of water distribution.I like the Large crisper bins along with the other 2.I moved my crispy bin to the middle so I don’t have to bend . The freezer also came with bins and shelves .Even though the icemaker is a little noisy,so is my A/C when it comes on.The additional expense comes with buying a water filter every 6 months to insure you getting clear and clean water. I have yet to fill up the fridge with food, but the holidays are near so I will see how much I can store with different sizes bowls and bottles.My grandson loves the features and was even showing me how to use the panel. My only cos thus far ,I have a dent at the bottom side if the freezer door,and my refrigerator door swings very wide without stoppage.Overall, it serves it’s purpose and I anticipate on it working a long time.What made me decide between the places,even though Home Depot had the better price on the Whirlpool? The answer came down to the warranty and the Geek Squad service.The service is quick,efficient and reliable when it comes to customer service.

This a fantastic fridge! Sleek design, large interior, beautiful in our kitchen. It fit perfectly into our space without sticking out like our previous fridge. The interior is brightly lit with plenty of clean, easy to adjust shelving. The ice maker is in the door so an efficient use of space. Getting water and ice from the outside door is easy, especially at night with different light setting. The LED controls on the door are also convenient and easy to use. This fridge is a home run!

Love, love, love this! I went a full year with a sub standard, very small refrigerator freezer that was in our home when we purchased it. We finally decided to bite the bullet and replace it with this unit, and couldn’t be happier! Super roomy, nice, even temperatures, and so far absolutely no problems with it. So happy to have all the room, the ice and water in the door, and I love that the ice maker is in the door saving precious space in the freezer.

Unit has au nice layout. Has extra space in freezer because icemaker is in door. Like lighting and inside and on door controls. Temps displayed of freezer and refrigerator on front. Has measure water dispenser in ounces, cups or liters. Does not have a butter compartment and icemaker appears to be slow cycling ice.

The unit has plenty of space in freezer and refrigerator sections and is well lit The drawers glide smoothly when opening. The ice maker has efficient production however the dispenser seems like it is not real sturdy and it is possible it could wear eventually. There are good settings on the dispenser for ice and controls The unit condenser is a bit loud during normal running.

This Whirlpool Fridge is great! It has so much room due to the deep (28.4 Cu. Ft) spacious room in both the fridge area and the freezer area. You cannot go wrong on this model as it meets all the check marks for your everyday groceries! The water dispenser & Ice machine works exactly as described. With multiple types of options/levels for both the water/ice dispenser. The on-screen controls to change all the settings are very easy to use & user friendly! My Purchase for this Appliance/Fridge was Excellent Service Provided by Best Buy & the Geek Squad Employees! They were on time, quick, smart & respectful in the way they handled & installed my new fridge. I am very glad I chose Best Buy to make my purchase! I will from here on inform everyone within my circle about the perfect experienced I had & I Recommend this service to anyone out there reading this review.

The refrigerator has a lot of room "in the freezer". The fridge has a humidifier drawer that basically makes it difficult to adjust the fridge portion for adequate shelf room depending on what goes on what shelf. Door shelving and adjustment gives a lot of additional item placement.

Great refrigerator. Fits perfectly in confined space. Tons of room! Looks very modern. Had been hesitant with the stainless but works perfectly with my blue cabinets. Very pleased

I recently upgraded to The Whirlpool 28.4 Cu. Ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator, and it has been a fantastic addition to my kitchen which is a blessing with kids around The 28.4 cu. ft. capacity is impressive. I no longer struggle to fit in all my groceries, even after a big shopping trip. The adjustable shelves and bins are a great feature, allowing me to customize the space as needed. From day one, the cooling performance has been top-notch. Everything stays at the perfect temperature, and I’ve noticed my produce lasts longer. I appreciate that it’s Energy Star certified, as it helps keep my energy bills in check. The only minor downside is the cost of replacing the water filter. Overall, my experience with the Whirlpool 28.4 Cu. Ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator has been overwhelmingly positive. It combines style, functionality, and efficiency seamlessly. It has truly enhanced my kitchen experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone in need of a reliable and spacious refrigerator.

We had a French door and switched to this side by side. Plenty of space, easy to use, good lighting. This is a better made refrigerator.

Extremely happy with this refrigerator so far! It has plenty of room and looks great in my kitchen. Purchased this Whirlpool to replace a Samsung that the compressor went out in. Although it was covered under warranty, I am still trying to get the warranty honored (8 weeks later!!!). The place where I bought it has been no help at all either (won’t mention the home improvement store’s name). Lesson learned and will be using Best Buy to replace all my appliances from here on out!!! Even the delivery guys were professional and helpful - way more than the previously used home improvement delivery team! Delivery was on time & Best Buy delivery crew was fast & courteous!!! I went ahead & purchased the Best Buy Geek Squad 5 year protection plan with this appliance so I now feel confident that if I do have any issue with it that it will be taken care of by Best Buy without all the stress.

Would have been nice to know we needed to check our water valve before getting fridge. Noisy when cooling. We had the older version of this style which was built better. It is nice to have 2 drawers in freezer. Would have been nice to have a basket or 2 also. This fridge is deeper which is good. No butter shelf on door . Can't adjust shelves much on this version. The ice drawer is very small & the things you push to get ice & water have to be pushed hard to work. Old fridge was much better, but didn't like any of the other fridges in this price range or even above. I like the ice maker on the door so it doesn't take up freezer room.

Look great the only I notice the ice maker take time to make a lot of Ice. since yesterday we only get like maybe if I count it, maybe only 17pcs for 24 hours

Fridge is good! Did you know though when you order a fridge they just drop it off now? So even put handles on. What is up with that? All tape and styrofoam are left too. Seriously ??? Ypu can’t put the handles on. Really???? Never again!
