I just graduated from college and needed a new washer for my apartment. This cleans all of my clothing very well, it's not very loud, and it does not vibrate too much. Overall a great buy.

I fell in love with this machine right when I saw it because it can do sheets, blankets, pillows, comforters, rugs, shoes, quilts, oh the list goes on and on. I love that all you do is pop a tide all in one cube into the machine load your clothes into the machine shut the lid and set the setting and then your done. This is all you do which only takes less time compared to my old machine which took like 1/2 hour.

This is, by far, the best washing machine I have ever owned or used. My clothes have never turned out so clean and fresh. This machine is well worth the money.

Our fancy Maytag washer was awful. The clothes weren't coming clean and it couldn't be fixed when it broke. This new Whirlpool is awesome. Cleaner clothes, quieter washcycle, quick, water/energy efficient. A great choice!

We have had the washer 7 months and there is a horrible mildew/mold odor that we can not get rid of! We use the ALLFresh and only use HE detergent (pods to be exact) so we definitely aren't overusing detergent. We have tried several different cleaning methods and nothing is working. Looked everywhere we could and don't see any buildup anywhere. Has anyone else had their washer this long and encountered this issue. So frustrating!

Purchased this washer without any advise from a sales rep. Quick sale for him. Our mistake. Washer seamed slow in washing, took over 2 hours to do a load. Kept going off balance. Called Geek Squad before the thirty days were up. Came to inspect washer and the first thing said was "it's after the thirty days". That's only because it was the only next available appointment. Expressed our concerns with the tech and to make a long story short, he told us that this washer is a $500.00 paper weight. Did what the tech told us to do for the next week. Only got worse with each washing. Went back to the B.B. and spoke with Bev, the manager on duty that day. Told her everything. We are now past 30 days of return. She was able to do a return. Went and spoke with Rich and his assistent and they were the best in giving us the information we needed. Found out that this machine was belt driven. That's why we thought it couldn't get out of it's own way. No spray rinse like the Whirlpool book says it has. Never even thought they manufactured such a thing anymore? We wound up buying an LG frontloader instead. Even got a pricematch since the sales people went and checked without us knowing. Stay away from this machine all together. Will update on the Lg once we use it. All in all, B.B. of Whitehall, PA did everything to help us with a purchase gone bad, even though we were past the "30 day return policy". Thanks, guys.

not the easiest washer to learn how to use... washes clothes well but can't just throw in and go... have to check and check

I have had this machine for a year now and it has NEVER washed clothing well. I can not even begin to understand why this machine has a rating of 4 out of 5. These high efficiency washers are GARBAGE, and I know many people who are unhappy with them. If you care about your clothing being clean and smelling well do not buy this or any other high efficiency washer. Don't listen to the line of you know what people give you about how these machines help save money and help with the wear and tear on your clothing. Despite following all of the manufactures recommendations, including using the affresh tablets, my clothing still smells dirty. I have to wash everything in hot water, and often more than once. How is this saving money and energy? Do yourself a favor and buy the old style machine. Also, when I called someone to look at my machine this week he said the transmission needs to be repaired. Only after a year? I will be calling Whirlpool and giving them the same feedback. I was told that the idea is to phase out the old style machines. What a mistake. Even the repair person told me that the best machines are the old style agitators. Save your money and go with what works. You can save money in other ways.

Purchased this washing machine to replace two year old GE. The washing machine works great. Very efficient and quiet. BestBuy installers did a great job with install and removing old washer/dryer.

We purchased this washer to replace our old agitator style washer. I was intimated by the new technology. Got the washer I've used for 3 weeks and I love it. The clothes are much cleaner and the come out of washer much drier, a lot less drying time. So far I'm very impressed!

Great Washer for the money. We needed a washer without all the bells and whistles. This one is great and does a great job cleaning

Really happy with my purchase of this washer. Bought 1 month ago and have had no issues. The unit is very quiet and efficient.

3 month old washer starts making awful squealing noise, and stops spinning. Call Bestbuy, they setup a appt with Geek Squad 3 days later for repair. Geek Squad tech shows up @ last min, spends 15 min on it, says its fixed, and leaves. As soon as he leaves, I run a cycle and NO SPINNING. Call bestbuy back, said I have toset up new appt., which is two days later, 12 p to 3 pm, Geek Squad is a no show, but calls at 2:45p and says he has to order a part. Now it's gonna be 4 more days before, the tech comes out. Washer still is not fixed! TERRIBLE WASHER, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, TERRIBLE REPAIR SERVICE! Do not make the same mistake we did!

Not a very well built machine. Wiring harness clip was too close to the spinning drum producing menacing banging sound. Water use is fickle-minded requiring an extra manually added rinse and spin cycle, most of the time. Generally seems to use less than adequate amount of water. Will not buy a cheap washer again.

A very UNHAPPY Best Busy Customer! Best Buy delivered Whirlpool washer & dryer early 2012. My mother initial reaction was "why did you purchase this type of washer"!!! I said it's new technology and old standard washer machines are not available per Best Buy salesperson.....In all, my mother's initial reaction was CORRECT...I'm very unhappy with the quality of the wash.....Just to say that when I washed, the machine did not take toothpaste off my sweater :( FYI - do your own research first - I failed on this. I took Best Buy Sales Person word......I went to Best Buy on-line, and did find standard washer machines available. In all, Best Buy does carry them; however, now I know that Best Buy Sales person just wanted to sale new He washer. Which claims to be water efficient - it's really NOT. Although, it maybe water efficient it takes 2 to 3 time longer for a load to complete - so, expect for electric bill to rise; while water bill declines FYI and advice if you are not happy with washer, try getting exchange before the 30day period....I tried in exchanging it and b/c I was NOT within the 30 days Best Buy wouldn't exchange it - even though I was willing to pay a re-stock fee...I just wanted to have an equipment that worked! Also - machine does not handle washing basic kitchen mats - Our kitchen mats came out the same way we put them in the washer.... Machine STOPS when it's unbalance - and machine has NO alert on this - it just STOPS - unfinished, so when you think load is done washing - you'll have a surprise that it's not ! Need to start looking for a new washer & put this WTW4950XW in Craigslist -THANK BEST BUY FOR YOUR GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE and unreliable Appliance Sales Personnel !!!

Great appliance. Easy to use, energy efficient. Gets clothes clean with minimal energy and expense.

This product is easy to use that after 10 minutes of being hooked up , we were washing clothes . The money we are saving from lower electricity usage , and less water makes us more excited for buying this product.

It is an good washer. It is taking time to used to the differant noises it makes. It uses a lot less water that my old washer. Would recommend it to anyone.
