This washer works great, I'm very happy with my purchase.

Bought this machine last fall in 2011. Have had to get it fixed already. I fixed it once myself and am now getting warranty to fix it again. Cleans ok but should not have to repair it only after a few months of use. I expect more out of whirlpool.

When selecting the washer I purchased, I was under the presumption that this product would deliver on its word; however, that doesn't seem to be the case. The average time for a load of laundry to be washed is about 1 hour, in some cases longer. I find this really ridiculous, not only is this not energy efficient, but it takes me longer to do the laundry with this machine than it did with my old washer. Adding insult to injury for a product that was costly and I'm still paying for, the clothes that take an hour or more to be washed in this machine come out with the same soils and smell that they initially had, before being put in the washer. To ensure that I would give an accurate evaluation, I waited four months before writing this review and have tried using different types of detergents and settings. I am very very unhappy with this product.

Takes long time. We smell laundry in washed / dried cloths.

I hate this washer this is a piece of junk not worth the buy or the headach, takes forever to wash the clothes even when you have it set on regular cycle still will take for ever, do not get fooled by whatever the sales person trying to tell you about this washer nothing but headach, before leaving my house I put a load of wash two hours later came back and still washing!!!! the spining cycle what drives you nuts the most it spins for a min and then stops for 10 min then spins again sooo irritated by it, save your money and do not bother with this washer oh and one last thing the lock button will drive you to the roof, useless

I have been doing wash for over 40 years. I have never had a washer that did not clean clothes. I load the clothes as directed, I pre- treat stains, I use Tide and Oxy clean together and still clothes are not clean. I only use super wash cycle & wash each load 2 times to get most clean, however stains on hand towels from the grandkids are still there. All my whites are dingy. I have owned the washer for 5 months now. The only thing i can do is buy another washer, so there goes 600.00 down the drain. It is not energy efficient if I need to add so many products and wash every load twice.

I purchased this washer thinking I was getting a great deal since it was a floor model and all and now I understand why it was a floor model. The washer does not clean effectively. The way I find out is when I wash and dry something and get ready to fold it and it has more staines on it than I started with. Now I have to figure out how I'm going to get rid of this thing and purchase another one because I'm outside of the 30 day exchange period. I kept giving it one more try. Do not purchase this washer. Too bad there is not a trade-in program for washers less than 6 months old.

This machine has never worked for us. We load the machine as per manual, salesperson, and repair technician. Still, the machine may "sense" the load and do nothing else, or it may wash for a little while, then stop. EVERY TIME the machine stops, we have to unplug the machine, count ten seconds, then plug it back in, wait until the lid unlocks, then restart the machine, then it works. Technicians have no explaination or remedy, we exhausted 12 mos warranty trying to get fixed. We will dump this machine soonest. Whirlpool? NEVER AGAIN!

The price was ok for a washer but as for the description it was very misleading! Fabric softener dispensor is a downy ball and does a terrible job at cleaning clothes that are soiled. I do not reccomend ever buying online with out going to see the product yourself as the desciption is not always accurate. I have had it for several months and still am very unsatisfied

I purchased this machine in early January. Today, less than 6 months after purchase there is rust in the drum of the machine. Rust is considered a cosmetic problem and is only covered under the 30 day warranty. DO NOT waste your money on this brand! Best Buy carries many other brands to choose from, Whirlpool is cheaply made, and their customer service does not stand behind their products.

Washer less than 2 years old and just quit. No error code or way to diagnosis because its all electronic. Best Buy's response was "we can send the Geek Squad out to look at it for $100". Spin cycle periodically not working for last 6 months. No apparent reason why some cycles completed without issues and others didn't. Sad that appliances cannot last but a couple years. Would not recommend.

Got two of these. First one didn't work upon delivery, sent it back, got another one, didn't make it through a single cycle, sent it back, went to Sears got another washer, works great. Try to stick with a washer with an agitator. Seems like these new high tech washers tend to be junk quality. This is NO FAULT of BEST Buy. It is the quality of the machine being made.

washing machines are supposed to clean what is being washed and rinse out the detergent residue and this model fails on both of these criteria not only would not recomend to a friend or a enemy very disappointed with quality and service 12 cycles so what non do the job do not buy this product

The washer worked great for exactely two months and then all of a sudden it started making a knocking noise and then stopped working. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Would never purchase this item again. the smell that comes out of it is so nasty. Smells up the whole house.

How does this save energy if it takes an hour to wash clothes. Clothes dont even come out smelling good like with my old washer.

I returned the machine as it was broken and then the replacement did not work great so I returned that as well.

clothes dont feel and smell fresh smell sour, I feel there note enough water to made the cloth smell fresh.
