Fortunately we were able to return and exchange it for a Samsung which doesn't make that noise at all.

Overall a bit of a disappointment.

And not noisy at all like other reviews mentioned! Makes ice quick within in 10 min it drops ice. Only confusing part is how to make it colder other then that excellent product :)
