Disappointed at the Ice and Water dispensor

Within 3 days of purchase the ice and water dispenser gave up on us. After struggling without it for a week, one fine morning it started working again. Don't know what happened. But now it is working good.

Doors are adjustable, ice maker works great and better than the old style curved ones. The ice maker provides plenty of ice and I like the cubes better. The water dispenser is no problem, you just have to hold your glass for a half second after you release the switch.
Bought new and the defrost sensor failed in 2 week

The product worked well for 2 week and suddenly we started to see water coming down the water dispenser, the ice inside the freezer was melting and running down the dispenser. Unfortunately Geek Squad did not do the service and they asked us to contact the manufacturer as they cover the first year. Whirlpool tool 10 days to come over and found that defrost sensor has failed. He said he will order the replacement sensor and come back again when its delivered, with no ETA again.
We ended up returning this back to store and bought a different make altogether.

I give this refrigerator zero stars and less if I could. The fridge side didn't get cold and spoiled my food and the freezer didn't even freeze bread after being in for a week. A few days later the ice maker broke and we were no longer able to get ice. A totally terrible experience. It took me almost 1 month to get a new refrigerator. I don not recommend this product.

Vary small i feel like the Fridge part could be bigger we have cleaned out the ice try 3x now but ice continues to have  particles in it this is not from the water

There is no water tray for me to take out if overflow. The way the water dispensor its constantly leaking onto the door and the floor with constant water spill. Sometimes you have to wait three seconds before pulling cup away because it still releasing water or ice. When locking the tempature on both freezer and fridge you can not use the water/ ice dispensors. The purpose of the lock was for children not to change the temp levels. Overall very dissapointed for being a modern fridge.

I would say that it's a pretty good fridge overall, but for some reason they decided to include an EXTREMELY LOUD fan that runs almost 24/7 for no reason that I can discern. I can hear it almost everywhere in my house. It is driving me crazy. This is not a normal fridge noise. It is waaaaay louder than it should be. I have contacted the manufacturer buy they refused to help.

Bought this fridge brand new and it didn’t even last 2 years. The sensors are freezing over the coils so in turn, the fridge is not cooling. Sensors have been changed and it is still not working. The computer is the only thing left to replace for this issue and it is back ordered for over a year now so I am just stuck with this issue. Never again will I purchase a whirlpool fridge.

Had it delivered on 15 Sep at 2:30 and less than 24 hours later we had to call for service! Worst part is we have to wait 2 weeks before they can come out & fix it! It started a high pitch whine/hum sometime last night and we noticed it this morning when we got up. Checked the web for info and it said that is not good. It is still cooling & freezing, just makes a lot of noise. Hope it lasts until they come out on 1 Oct! Last Whirlpool fridge we had needed 2 repairs on the first year. This is our last Whirlpool and last buy from Best Buy.

We purchased the Whirlpool side by side. It looks great and blended well with our existing appliances. It is noisier that we expected but tolerable.
The refridge functions as we expected, and is what we were looking for in our replacement.

The frig itself is ok except the doors seems to all have defects. The last two never made it into the house. This will be my last try and I will have to pick out another model. Very disappointing.

Unfortunately, there are times when shipping and storage conditions are beyond our control. In this type of situation it is usually best to let your dealer know of the damage so that they can quickly exchange this.

Do not buy!!!!! After two years broke down first the ice maker and then a couple months later the compressor. I should have went with another brand but since whirlpool is so well known like my old school backup in garage alive and kicking for like a decade. Samsung or LG next I guess?

I'd prefer a zero. 3 units all the same loud and noisy compressor. Whirlpool designated service representative says all Whirlpool refrigerator are that way. service technician irreparable breaks the refrigerator when installing a replacement compressor. Now I'm without a refrigerator, perhaps for weeks. Whirlpool is mired in required 'business processes' before affecting a solution

Water leaked over cup everytime I attempted to fill a cup or glass. When I attempted to get ice due the water would come out due to the fact it was directly in front of the ice lever. Returned refrigerator and bought a dual lever.
